Abstract
Description
The invention relates to agriculture and can be used in the processing of organic waste from animal husbandry and poultry production to obtain highly effective organic fertilizer vermicompost.
патент РФ №2274628.A known method of producing vermicompost, which consists in pre-mixing and biothermal composting of the substrate, including organic cultivators, populating moistened compost with red California worms of the species Eisenia foetida for processing compost and separating the worms from humidified to 60-65% vermicompost, see RF patent No. 2274628.
The disadvantages of this method are the significant energy costs of mixing and biothermal composting, as well as the low efficiency of using a subspecies of the red California worm of the species Eisenia foetida at low temperatures, typical of a significant time interval in the northern latitudes.
патент РФ №2409537.There is a method of processing poultry manure and pig manure into organic fertilizer, which consists in mixing poultry manure from the cage of poultry, poultry manure with litter from the floor content of poultry, additives to improve the quality of organic fertilizer with subsequent natural composting, additionally use pig manure and a microbiological preparation "Baikal-EM1", see RF patent No. 2409537.
1».The disadvantages of this method are the small range of microclimatic parameters of the room in which the method is planned to be implemented, which entails significant costs for heating and ventilation of such a room, as well as extremely stringent requirements for the temperature and humidity of the substrate, at which the effective use of the Baikal-EM1 preparation is possible.
патент РФ №2306303.A known method of producing activated biohumus, which consists in composting litter manure and processing the resulting substrate with vermiculture. At the stage of processing the substrate with vermiculture, whey is added to the substrate at a ratio of components, wt.%: Litter manure 70-80, crushed straw 19-29.5, milk whey 0.5-1, see RF patent No. 2306303.
The main disadvantage of this method is the presence of vitamin B12 in milk serum, whose action unnecessarily accelerates the metabolism of compost worms and can lead to their death or death of their offspring.
патент РФ №2371425.There is a method of preparing fertilizer from organic waste of animal husbandry, poultry farming and plant growing, which consists in separating the biomass into fractions by separation, its disinfection with simultaneous detoxification of the liquid fraction in an electrolyzer with insoluble electrodes, and the solid fraction by processing with an ozone-air mixture and ultraviolet radiation, see RF patent No. 2371425.
The disadvantages of this method are the significant energy intensity and technological complexity of the detoxification operation of the liquid fraction in the electrolyzer with insoluble electrodes, and the use of ultraviolet radiation can dramatically reduce the humic component of the fertilizer, because destroys humic acids.
патент РФ №2255077.A known method of producing vermicompost is to introduce a dung worm into a compost-containing substrate, which is obtained by mixing beet pulp with lime in a ratio of 10: 1 by volume, then the resulting mixture is mixed with garden soil in equal proportions by volume and filler is added in proportions of 5-10 % of the volume of the last mixture obtained, while chopped straw is used as a filler, see RF patent No. 2255077.
The disadvantages of this method are the high acidity of beet pulp, as a result of which the dung worm does not adapt well to the substrate, as well as the fact that fungal microflora actively develops in the biohumus obtained in this way.
патент РФ №2393137.A known method of producing vermicompost is to introduce a dung worm into a compost-containing substrate, which is obtained by mixing cattle manure with defecate in a ratio of 3: 1 by volume, followed by the inclusion of the resulting mixture in garden soil in equal proportions with the addition of organic filler in an amount of 15% from the volume of the substrate, and as an organic filler, leaf litter is used, see RF patent No. 2393137.
This technical solution is taken as a prototype of the claimed invention.
The disadvantages of the prototype method are the increased acidity of the prepared vermicompost, which can only be effectively applied on highly alkaline soils, the impossibility of natural mixing of cattle manure and defecate, and accordingly, the need to attract additional funds for mixing artificially, as well as the possible presence of heavy metals in the deciduous litter, which destroy the digestive system of compost worms.
The objective of the invention is to increase the intensity of the waste processing process and obtain valuable fertilizer from organic waste with the least cost of processing manure and litter and the greatest effect associated with an increase in the yield of biohumus from the substrate.
The essence of the claimed invention as a technical solution is expressed in the following set of essential features.
According to the invention, a method for producing vermicompost, comprising introducing into the compost-containing substrate the Eisenia foetida earthworm compost, is characterized in that the compost-containing substrate is obtained by mixing rotten chicken manure with cattle manure in a ratio of 1: (1.8-2.2) by volume with adding organic filler in an amount of 30-40% of the volume of the substrate.
This is the totality of the essential features of the claimed technical solution, providing a technical result in all cases to which the requested amount of legal protection applies.
In addition, the claimed invention is characterized by the presence of a number of additional optional features, namely:
- в качестве органического наполнителя используют отработанную подстилочную солому;- used litter straw is used as an organic filler;
- в качестве органического наполнителя используют опилки;- sawdust is used as an organic filler;
Used organic cut cardboard is used as an organic filler.
The technical result achieved when using the claimed invention is that the claimed technology provides for the deoxidation of the compost-containing substrate to a pH of 6.8-7.5 and creates optimal conditions for the density and porosity of the substrate necessary for effective vermicultivation. The effectiveness of vermicompost in the declared experimentally determined intervals is maximum, because the best ratio of humic and fulic acids is achieved, with this combination the best air permeability of the fertilizer is achieved, which improves the metabolism in plants growing in the soil with this fertilizer.
Chicken droppings and cattle manure (cattle) are complex capillary-porous materials whose intercellular space is filled with water with a relatively low sucrose content. In fresh chicken droppings, the solids content varies from 8 to 15%, in fresh manure - from 4 to 7%. The main problem with chicken manure as a fertilizer is its high acidity: the pH is strongly biased towards the acid side. Chicken manure has the highest nitrogen content of all the main types of poultry waste. Manure of cattle is chemically more neutral due to the fact that the food base of cattle is vegetation rich in cellulose. However, to completely neutralize the chemical environment necessary for vermicultivation, mixing chicken manure with manure without additional deoxidation is not enough.
Chicken droppings are mixed with cattle manure in a ratio of 1: 2 by volume to partially neutralize the medium until an acidity of pH 5.8-6.5 is obtained, which is acceptable for the effective life of earthworms. The introduction of bedding straw, which is also a waste of livestock and poultry farms, into the mixture in an amount of 30-40% of the total volume of the substrate additionally deoxidizes it to a pH of 6.8-7.5 and creates the conditions for the density and porosity of the substrate, typical of a worm , and also improves the air regime of the substrate.
The method is as follows.
Preparation of a base compost-containing substrate. To do this, chicken droppings are mixed with cattle manure to a level that is minimum permissible for vermicultivation of the pH of the substrate 5.8-6.5, which is achieved by the ratio of components 1: (1.8-2.2) by volume.
The introduction of an organic filler, bedding straw, into the prepared substrate, which makes it possible to further deoxidize the substrate to a pH of 6.8-7.5, improve the air regime of the substrate and create conditions for the density and porosity of the substrate typical of a worm.
As a filler for comparison, you can use sawdust and waste cut cardboard. Next, adapted compost worms Eisenia foetida are introduced into the compost-containing substrate according to standard standards of 10-12 pcs. per 1 liter of substrate. The resulting biohumus is dried, sieved and used for growing ornamental and agricultural plants, as well as for reclamation.
The resulting biohumus was studied using a standard method for assessing the effectiveness of organic fertilizers for the content of organic matter in various substrates after vermicultivation and its bioefficiency.
Table 1 presents the results of this assessment.
As shown by the results of vermicultivation (table 1), in the experimental substrates (No. 2-4) there is an increase in organic matter compared to the control. The ratio of humic acids (HA) and fulioacids (FA) is at an optimal level.
The obtained biohumus was tested on the lawn grass “Canada Green”, which was grown for 70 days.
Table 2 presents the results of this testing.
The composition of the initial substrate
(ratio of components,%)
From table 2 it is seen that the substrate No. 3 has the optimal ratio of components to obtain the highest bio-productivity, i.e. biohumus obtained from a substrate consisting of chicken manure, cattle manure and bedding straw in predetermined proportions will have the optimal composition.
Compared with the known solutions, the claimed method allows to increase the intensity of the waste processing process and to obtain valuable fertilizer from unused organic waste with the least cost of processing manure and litter and the greatest effect associated with an increase in the yield of finished vermicompost from the substrate.
