Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of shipbuilding, in particular to the propeller blades of ice-class vessels, including the propellers of ice-class vessels operating as part of propeller-driven columns.
Басин A.M., Миниович И. 461-465).Known rotor blades having profiles of the NACA-66, NACA-16 series, as well as an elliptical profile (see. "The theory and calculation of propellers." Basin AM, Miniovich I.Ya., Sudpromgiz, 1965, Leningrad, p. 461-465 )
Each of these blades has a curved profile formed by the suction and discharge surfaces, as well as the incoming and outgoing edges. At the same time, the same blade can have sections with profiles of various series to ensure the optimal ratio between cavitation, hydrodynamic, and strength characteristics (see Troost B series propellers).
To accurately describe the profile of the blade, it is customary to consider the blade in a cylindrical section formed by the intersection of the blade with a cylindrical surface with an axis coinciding with the axis of the hydraulic propulsion device. In the future, the words "section of the blade" will be understood to mean just such a section.
The advantage of these known blades is to ensure a fairly uniform distribution of pressure on the suction and discharge surfaces of the blades with a small profile resistance.
Closest to the proposed technical solution is the blade of the hydraulic propulsion device (according to the patent of the Russian Federation for invention No. 2385255), the blades of which have a first side edge and a second side edge, the first angle of inclination of the blade near the hub relative to the line F, running along the blade perpendicular to the axis of the screw, component 0 -4 degrees, with the first side edge gradually becoming thinner from the hub to the far end of the blade, the inclined part rising from the center on the rear surface to the far end of the blade from the line c Iba connecting the far end of the first side edge with the far end of the second side edge, an inclined rear surface rising to the second side edge between the first side edge and the second side edge, the second angle of inclination of the second side edge to the line F, comprising 7-25 degrees - prototype .
A disadvantage of the known blade is the occurrence of cavitation on its suction surface with increasing speed and power of the vessel. In this regard, the problems associated with this cavitation increase sharply, such as increased blade erosion, vibration, noise, and reduced propeller efficiency. The suction surface of its blades has an almost constant curvature from the inlet edge to the outlet edge, since an increase in the curvature increases the risk of early cavitation, and also increases the profile resistance of the blade. To date, propellers are being developed, the shape of the blades of which allows you to somewhat delay the moment of occurrence of cavitation.
It should also be noted that the above structural measures are intended to improve the cavitation characteristics of the propeller in relation to driving modes with high speeds.
The work of the propellers of ice-class vessels very often occurs at low speeds if necessary to ensure maximum emphasis. At the same time, the likelihood of cavitation is also high, and constructive measures are also necessary to remove the moment of its occurrence. One of them is the proposed technical solution.
The objective of the invention is to increase the efficiency of the propeller in ice conditions by moving away the moment of cavitation on the propeller blades by changing the profile of the suction surface of the blades.
The problem is solved due to the fact that the thickening in the region of the incoming edge of the propeller blades of an ice class vessel with a smooth curved surface is located within 0.35-0.85 of the relative radius of the propeller r - (the relative radius r - is determined by dividing the current radius r by the radius of the propeller R, that is, r - = r / R), and the thickness of the profile of the blade at a distance from its incoming edge, equal to 0.025 of the length of the chord of its profile, is 0.25-0.47 of the maximum thickness of the profile, while specified distance from the incoming edge and its thickness increases with distance from the axis of rotation of the propeller, and at a distance from the incoming edge of the blade equal to 0.05 of the length of the chord of its profile, it is 0.3-0.65 of the maximum thickness of the profile. And at a distance from the incoming edge, equal to 0.75 of the chord length of its profile, the blade thickness is 0.6-0.7 of the maximum thickness of the profile.
Performing thickenings on the suction surface of the propeller blades of the ice-class vessel in this way ensures uniform distribution of pressure over its suction surface, due to which the moment of the beginning of cavitation on the blades is removed.
Для сравнения на Фиг.2 также приведено сечение лопасти прототипа - традиционного гребного винта судна ледового класса (обозначено пунктирной линией).BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Figure 1 shows the arrangement of the cylindrical surface section of the propeller ice class vessel with the proposed blade relative to a radius of r - equal to 0.7, and Figure 2 shows the cross section of the blade itself. For comparison, FIG. 2 also shows a cross section of a prototype blade — a traditional propeller of an ice class vessel (indicated by a dashed line).
The blade of the propeller of the ice class vessel has a smooth curved surface, and in the region of the incoming edge 1 it has a thickening of 2 profiles, compared with the profile 3 of a traditional propeller (Figure 2), located within 0.35-0.85 relative radius of the propeller screw r - . The thickness of the profile of the blade at a distance from its incoming edge 1 at a distance equal to 0.025 of the length of the chord 4 of the profile is 0.25-0.47 of the maximum thickness of 5 profile. Moreover, at a specified distance from the incoming edge 1, the relative thickness of the blade, i.e. the ratio of the thickness of the blade to the maximum thickness of the blade increases with distance from the axis of rotation of the propeller. At a distance from the incoming edge 1 of the blade equal to 0.05 of the chord 4 of its profile, the relative thickness of the blade is 0.3-0.75 and increases with distance from the axis of rotation of the propeller. And at a section remote from the incoming edge 1 by a distance equal to 0.75 of the length of the chord 4 of its profile, the thickness of the blade is 0.6-0.7
The
The work of the proposed propeller blades of the ice class vessel is as follows.
When the propeller rotates in ice conditions, the flow incident on the propeller interacts with the blade, the profiling of which has a thickening near the inlet edge 1. At this thickening, the minimum hydrodynamic pressure increases, as a result of which no conditions are created for the formation of cavitation cavities on the suction surface of the blade. Due to this, the moment of occurrence of cavitation moves away, which makes it possible to increase the propeller thrust during its operation in ice conditions and, as a result, increase its efficiency.
The proposed propeller blade of the ship provides an increase in the efficiency of the propeller in ice conditions by moving away the moment of cavitation on the propeller blades by changing the profiling of the suction surface of the blades, which distinguishes it from the prototype.
