Abstract
Description
The invention relates to medicine, in particular to ophthalmology, and can be used in medical practice to prevent corneal flap dehydration during Laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) due to various refractive errors.
В. 2002).Dehydration of the corneal flap during the LASIK procedure leads to the formation of micropoints, which in turn leads to poor reposition, impaired adaptation of the flap edges. The above changes can cause postoperative complications, such as ingrowth of the epithelium under the flap, aseptic inflammation, the development of flap dystrophy syndrome, thereby reducing the subjective assessment of the quality of visual life of patients and prolonging the rehabilitation period after surgery (Kondakova O.I. 2011, Iskeleli G. 2009 , Maychuk N.V. 2008, Kurenkov V.V. 2002).
The closest analogue of the invention is a method of protecting the flap during the LASIK procedure using corneal “shields”, corneal “drains” (zubeh% C3% B6r /). These devices are designed to protect and moisten the flap and are offered in versions with a diameter of 7 mm, 8 mm, 8.5 mm, 10 mm. However, with a narrow palpebral fissure, a deep orbit, and a number of other anatomical features of the structure of the facial skull, limiting the area and size of the surgical field, the use of the above means is impossible.
The technical result when using the invention is the protection and prevention of dehydration of the corneal flap in a limited surgical field.
The specified technical result is achieved by the fact that in the method of protecting the flap from dehydration during LASIK, including the use of a protective device after the stage of formation of the corneal flap, according to the invention, a microtuper of 6-7 × 2-3 mm is used as a protective device, which is moistened with a balanced solution and placed on the inside of the flap folded in half parallel to its base.
The invention is illustrated by the following figures: in FIG. 1 shows a protective device, a general view; in FIG. 2 is a schematic illustration of the proposed method.
The proposed method for preventing dehydration of the corneal flap during the LASIK procedure is as follows. Conduct preoperative preparation and the formation of

DZN pale pink, clear boundaries, physiological excavation. Macular region unchanged. Medium-sized vessels. Peripherals without features.
Surgery was performed using the proposed technique. Formed a corneal flap. The distance between the base of the flap and the edge of the upper eyelid is 4 mm. The flap was raised, fixing over the edge with tweezers, the microtupfer was laid on the inside between the two halves of the flap, folded in half parallel to its base. The stage of ablation and fixation of the flap went without complications.
The patient received standard postoperative treatment. On the 2nd day after surgery, the cornea is biomicroscopically transparent, the flap is in the correct position, the edges are adapted, the interface without inclusions, visual acuity 1.0 / 1.0. After 3 months, the postoperative result is stable, visual acuity was 1.0 / 1.0. The sphere equivalent of refraction is -0.25 / -0.37 D, the cylindrical component is -0.5 and -0.25 D, respectively. Biomicroscopically, the cornea is transparent, the edges of the flap are not visualized, there are no microostria. Therefore, the application of the proposed method of protecting the corneal flap from dehydration during LASIK allows you to avoid postoperative complications and achieve maximum optical result.
According to the proposed method, 30 eyes were operated on (15 patients). In all cases, high functional results were obtained and no operational complications were observed.
