Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a multi-element guide bearing for use in an automobile bearing assembly comprising a housing that includes a hollow spindle for receiving a shaft, at least one radial shock absorbing element and at least one axial shock absorbing element in the region of both ends of the hollow spindle.
Guide bearings of this type are well known; they are used, in particular, as axial bearings for absorbing and / or damping the loads in a vehicle that occur in the direction of travel and in the transverse direction with respect to it. In order to improve the adjustment of the chassis parameters, DE 19613212 previously proposed a functional separation of the shock absorbing elements into axial and radial shock absorbing elements. In particular, against the background of increasing demands for creating driving comfort and the associated comfort of the undercarriage under completely different driving conditions, this guide bearing, known from the prior art, also has disadvantages in terms of its ability to adapt to various driving conditions.
Therefore, the objective of the present invention is to create a multi-element guide bearing that copes with all possible driving conditions, taking into account the maximum possible comfort.
This problem is solved due to the fact that at least two axial shock-absorbing elements with different elastic coefficients are installed in the area of each of both ends of the hollow spindle so that the first axial shock-absorbing element has a lower coefficient of elasticity than the second axial shock-absorbing element. Thus, in particular, the loads that occur in the direction of the hollow spindle can be absorbed optimally, without causing free vibration. The comfort area is ensured by a soft cushioning structure. The emphasis on overload is provided by axial shock absorbing elements, which have a higher coefficient of elasticity and, therefore, a more rigid structure, which leads to protection against wear. According to one particularly preferred embodiment, the axial shock absorbing elements are arranged so that in the case of axial load, the first shock absorbing element is triggered first and only the second shock-absorbing element is triggered only after a certain distance x. Moreover, the first axial shock-absorbing element may have a smaller effective diameter than the second axial shock-absorbing element, and the axial shock-absorbing elements are preferably ring-shaped. However, it is also possible to arrange the plurality of axial shock absorbing elements individually in the form of a ring. In this case, however, it would be correct to talk about the first and second groups of axial shock-absorbing elements. According to one preferred embodiment, the casing is constructed essentially of two parts and comprises one casing part symmetrically about the axis of rotation and having an L-shaped cross-section, and a second casing part made in the form of a cover. In this case, a hollow spindle having a L-shaped cross-section can be located in the first part of the housing, the hollow spindle resting on a radial shock-absorbing element on the inner side of the cylindrical part of the first housing part, the first axial shock-absorbing element located between the shelf of the first housing part and the shelf hollow spindle, and the second axial shock absorbing element is located on the outwardly directed end of the shelf of the first part of the housing, the second part of the housing contains on the outward near the surface is a first axial shock-absorbing element, on the opposite side of which there is an annular element that corresponds to a hollow spindle, and a second axial shock-absorbing element is located on the outward end of the shelf of the second part of the housing.
The axial and radial shock absorbing elements are preferably made of elastomers, in particular rubber.
In the description below, the present invention will be explained in more detail by the example of one preferred embodiment with reference to the accompanying drawings, where:
на фиг.1 представлена схема расположения подшипникового узла автомобиля с многоэлементным направляющим подшипником перед монтажом, иfigure 1 presents the layout of the bearing assembly of the car with a multi-element guide bearing before installation, and
на фиг.2 представлен вид многоэлементного направляющего подшипника по фиг.1 в сечении.figure 2 presents a view of the multi-element guide bearing of figure 1 in cross section.
Figure 1 shows a part of the
Figure 2 presents in section a multi-element guide bearing 6 according to the invention. A hollow spindle 14 having an L-shaped cross section is located in the
The first radial shock absorbing element 30, which has an annular configuration, is located between the shelf 26 of the hollow spindle 14 and the shelf 28 of the
The guide bearing 6 is closed by the
34.According to the present embodiment, all axial shock absorbing elements 30, 34 have an annular shape, the first axial shock absorbing element 30 having a smaller effective diameter than the second axial shock absorbing element 34. Thus, the guide bearing 6 according to the invention ensures that in the case of axial load the first shock-absorbing element 30 and only after a certain segment x of the path is the second shock-absorbing element 34 activated.
