Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of creating special types of raw materials and technology for producing inorganic substances (salts) used in the production of industrial explosive materials, namely the production of granular ammonium nitrate used for the manufacture of industrial explosives such as ASDT and emulsion industrial explosives. The invention can be used for the manufacture of a wide range of mixed explosives.
A known method of producing porous granular ammonium nitrate [RU 2101228, C1, 07.25.1995] by introducing into a highly concentrated melt of ammonium nitrate as a hardening additive of aluminum-containing inorganic polymers in the amount of 0.40 ÷ 1.45% of the mass. by weight of nitrate and, as a modifying additive, a mixture of ammonium salts and surfactants in an amount of 0.04 ÷ 0.5% by weight of nitrate, followed by cooling and drying.
The disadvantages of this method are the increased water content in the resulting granules of porous ammonium nitrate from 0.5 to 2.5% by mass, which dramatically reduces the static strength of the granules, increases their caking, and when bringing the product to the standards required by consumers, it leads to the need for additional the process of vacuum drying the obtained granules. In addition, the content in the melt of ammonium nitrate solid phase in the amount of 0.40 ÷ 1.45% of the mass. by weight of nitrate leads to complications with the organization of the process of dispersing such a melt into droplets by static and vibrostatic granulators.
The closest technical combination in terms of the essential features and quality of the finished product is the method for producing porous granular ammonium nitrate [RU 2396239 08/10/2010], which includes the neutralization of nitric acid with gaseous ammonia with the formation of 80 - 85% aqueous solution of ammonium nitrate at a temperature of 120 ° C , the introduction of a stabilizing additive in it in the form of a mixture of ammonium salt of phosphoric acid in an amount of 0.3-1.0% of the mass. and ammonium salt of sulfuric acid in an amount of 0.03-0.25% of the mass. in relation to ammonium nitrate or a mixture of phosphoric acid in an amount of 0.3-1.0% of the mass. and sulfuric acid in an amount of 0.03-0.25% of the mass. in relation to ammonium nitrate (also as a stabilizing additive, a mixture of magnesium oxides (or caustic magnesites) and iron (III) (or magnetic iron ore) is used in an amount of 0.3 ÷ 2.0% by mass and 0.03 ÷ 0.2 % by weight, respectively, with respect to ammonium nitrate), then evaporation of the resulting solution to a state of melt with a water content of 0.2% by weight. For the purpose of pore formation, a saturated aqueous solution of a surfactant (surfactant) is introduced into the resulting melt at a boiling temperature in the amount of 0.02 - 0.1% of the mass. in terms of dry substance (as a surfactant, in particular, a mixture of lauryl sulfate or sodium stearate with a dispersant of naphthalene methyldisulfonic acid (NF) is used). Then, a pore-forming substance is introduced into the obtained melt — a saturated aqueous solution of a mixture of ammonium carbonate and ammonium nitrate in a ratio of 1: 1 in an amount of 0.03% of the mass. in terms of dry matter. The resulting melt is dispersed into droplets, crystallize them, cool the resulting granules and condition them.
The main disadvantage of this method is the need for a stage of pore formation, i.e. introducing a pore-forming additive, including an aqueous surfactant solution (used to minimize the size of gas bubbles, their uniform distribution and exclude coalescence) and the pore-forming substance itself. Moreover, in order to create optimal conditions for gas evolution, it is necessary to introduce these components of the additive separately in time and space, which also complicates the process.
The technical result of this invention is the possibility of obtaining granular ammonium nitrate with increased static strength, reduced caking and residual moisture, resistant to thermal heating-cooling cycles of -20-60 ° C up to 60 cycles, with increased absorption and retention properties without the use of pore-forming additives. The technological methods claimed in this invention allow the use of non-porous ammonium nitrate as an explosive with the necessary balance of oxidizing fuel or with a "zero oxygen balance" while lowering the total cost of production.
The technical result is achieved by the method of producing granular ammonium nitrate, including the introduction of a stabilizing additive into the resulting ammonium nitrate solution while neutralizing the resulting solution with ammonia, evaporating the resulting solution to form a melt, granulating the melt, and granules are treated with a stabilized emulsion of continuous phase to increase the absorbency of granular ammonium nitrate. in which diesel fuel is, and the discrete phase is water, with varying the desired ratio of water and oil phases 1: (1.5 ÷ 9). The micron size range allows the components of the emulsion to penetrate into the smallest pores of the granules, thereby increasing the absorption and retention capacity of diesel fuel of non-porous ammonium nitrate, the required amount of diesel fuel is absorbed, which determines the production of explosives with the necessary balance of oxidizing fuel or with a zero oxygen balance ".
