Abstract
Description
The invention relates to electronic equipment and is intended to ensure the removal of thermal energy from heat-loaded elements and can be used in the construction of converters, powerful amplifiers, rectifiers and multipliers.
Most cases of high-power transistors and diodes have a metal surface, the pressing of which to the cooler provides the necessary heat dissipation. This surface, as a rule, is connected to one of the electrodes of the radio element, which in most cases should not have electrical contact with the body of the equipment into which this radio element is included. Therefore, dielectric gaskets are introduced, which must withstand withstand the potential difference between the considered radio element and the housing. The higher the potential difference, the thicker the dielectric pad should be. However, dielectrics have low thermal conductivity and make it difficult to remove heat from radioactive fuel elements.
There are many designs for heat sinks. For example, the substrate on which the powerful circuit element is placed is held at a predetermined distance from the radiator by spacers, and the resulting gap is filled with a heat-conducting filler [1]. In such a design, it is difficult to provide high-potential insulation and at the same time its high thermal conductivity.
Sometimes, an elastic heat-conducting synthetic material is used for heat removal, subjected to preliminary compression to improve thermal contact [2]. Such a design solves the issue of the relative displacement of the substrate and the radiator, for example, due to the difference in the temperature coefficients of linear expansion (TEC). However, elastic heat-conducting synthetic materials do not work well in a wide temperature range and do not have a sufficiently high thermal conductivity. Ceramic materials have the best combination of high thermal conductivity and electrical strength.
With relatively small potential differences (up to several hundred volts), dielectric gaskets from mica or nomacon are used. Often, fiberglass is used as dielectric spacers. Fiberglass laminate with a thickness of 2 mm withstands a potential difference of more than 10 kV, but has a low coefficient of thermal conductivity λ (of the order of 0.3 W / m · ° C). For the compound KPTD-1 / 3λ = 1-1.7 W / m · ° C, for aluminum alloys it is about 200 W / m · ° C. Brokerite ceramics have the same amount. For commercially available ceramic plates, λ is approximately 30 W / m · ° C. Therefore, it is advisable to use ceramics as dielectric spacers. For example, polycor, for which there is a serial technology of metallization, etching of the topology and soldering of radio elements to fragments of this topology. The disadvantage of this technical solution is the different temperature coefficients of the linear expansion of ceramics and aluminum alloys, from which coolers are usually made. When ceramics are rigidly fixed to the cooler (for example, by soldering using metallization or by gluing), due to different thermal expansion coefficients, mechanical stresses arise when temperatures change, leading to the destruction of the ceramic.
This technical solution is aimed at providing heat removal from fuel elements of radioelements at different temperature coefficients of linear expansion of materials of a flat heat-conducting ceramic electrical insulator and radiator simultaneously with electrical insulation of radioelements from the radiator.
This is achieved by the fact that a plate made of a copper-molybdenum composite pseudo-alloy with one screw is inserted between a flat heat-conducting ceramic electric insulator, with a certain metallization topology on each side, on one side of which heat-generating radio elements are fixed by a soldering method, and a radiator located on the other side of the electric insulator, soldered to the metallization topology of the electrical insulator, and fastened with a screw to the radiator. The temperature coefficient of linear expansion of a flat heat-conducting ceramic electrical insulator and a copper-molybdenum composite pseudo-alloy are the same. A plate of a copper-molybdenum composite pseudo-alloy and a radiator are connected by a screw at one point. When the temperature changes, their surfaces, separated by a thermally conductive lubricant, slide along each other. As a heat-conducting lubricant, heat-conducting paste KPT-8 or indium is used. There are no mechanical stresses in this design. Filling part of the device, except the radiator, with an electrically insulating compound provides high-potential insulation. To increase the distance between the conductive parts of the device at different potentials, the flat heat-conducting ceramic electric insulator is designed so that the perimeter protrudes several millimeters from the edge of the copper-molybdenum composite pseudo-alloy plate, and the metallization topology is on the same distance from both sides flat heat conducting ceramic electrical insulator.
The essence of the technical solution is illustrated by drawings, which show:

Figure 1 shows a prior art device for removing heat from radioactive fuel elements. The
All elements of this design have high thermal conductivity. But because of the significant differences in the thermal expansion coefficient for ceramics and copper, temperature changes will cause mechanical stresses that can destroy ceramics.
Figure 2 shows the proposed technical device, which is devoid of this drawback. The
Ceramics not only conduct heat well, but also provide high electrical strength. A polycor with a thickness of 1 mm withstands a potential difference of more than 10 kV.
Этот компаунд обладает хорошими электроизоляционными свойствами, но при этом низкой теплопроводностью (λ порядка 0,2 Вт/м·°C).Figure 3 shows the design of the heat sink according to the second embodiment for radio elements at high potential (6-25 kV) relative to the housing. The device shown in figure 3, differs from the device of figure 2 in that the part of the device, except for the radiator, is varnished and coated with an electrical insulating compound 9 (for example, 30-300), providing high-potential insulation, protection against moisture and electrical breakdowns in low pressure conditions. This compound has good electrical insulating properties, but low thermal conductivity (λ of the order of 0.2 W / m · ° C).
To eliminate electrical breakdowns on the surface, the
