Abstract
Description
The invention relates to radio engineering, and in particular to methods and means of radio reconnaissance of radio emission sources (IRI) located within the protected area, and is intended, in particular, to detect the fact of the hidden installation of listening devices (so-called "bugs") that use the radio channel for transmitting audio information coming into their microphone.
Known methods that can be used in the detection of hidden IRI [1, 2]. The antenna systems of the respective detectors contain two field sensors: an E-sensor in the form of a vibrating antenna and an H-sensor in the form of a loop antenna, which respectively isolate the electric (E) and magnetic (H) components of the electromagnetic field of the IRI, followed by the formation of the output signal of the detector by processing the output signals from these sensors.
The disadvantage of analogues is the low probability of detecting hidden IRI, due to a priori uncertainty in the spatial polarization of their field in the vicinity of the detector, which does not allow polarized reception of the E-component and the H-component of the IRI field to the E-sensor and H-sensor, respectively.
The closest among the analogues is the prototype method [2], the main operation in which is the joint correlation processing of the output signals of the E-sensor and H-sensor.
The disadvantage of the prototype is the low probability of detecting hidden IRI.
The aim of the invention is to increase the reliability of detection.
P.To achieve the goal in a method for detecting radio emission in the near zone of a source in which the electric and magnetic field components are received at the E-sensor and H-sensor, respectively, joint correlation processing of the output signals of the E-sensor and H-sensor, the decision to detect IRI by comparing the detector output signal with a threshold, an additional electric field component is received at the second and third E-sensors, a magnetic field component is received at the second and third H-sensors, forms signaling the inter-component correlation k ij by jointly processing the signal from the output of the i-th E-sensor, i = 1, 2, 3, and the signal from the output of the j-th H-sensor, j = 1, 2, 3, generating the total signal k 11 + k 22 + k 33 and the determination of its amplitude P, the formation of differential signals k 12 -k 21 k 23 -k 32 , k 31 -k 13 , the determination of their amplitudes and the total amplitude S of the difference signals, and the directions of the axes of the i-th E the sensor and the ith H-sensor coincide with the direction of the axis e i of the orthogonal coordinate system, i = 1, 2, 3, and the total amplitude is used as the output signal of the detector there S, and as a threshold we use a value proportional to the amplitude P.
Let us explain that there are two fundamentally different modes of operation for a hidden IRI detector: dynamic and static. The dynamic mode of operation implies that the operator continuously moves the detector along the possible installation sites of the hidden IRI, which makes it possible to simply form the detection threshold level (or simply “threshold”) according to the detector output signal, coordinating the inertia of the threshold formation circuit, i.e. the speed of its adaptive tuning, with the speed of movement of the detector. If you stop the movement of the detector, its output response to the signal of the hidden IRI disappears. In a static mode of operation, the location of the detector remains unchanged and its response to signals from a hidden IRI must be maintained throughout the entire observation time. Obviously, in this mode, the task of choosing a threshold is more complicated, because it cannot be a function of the detector output signal, but must be created on the basis of the initial source data — detector input signals — and using a special processing algorithm that differs from the detector output signal generation algorithm.
In the proposed method, it is assumed that the detector is operated in a static mode.
The carrier frequency of the hidden IRI is assumed to be unknown and located in a wide frequency range, within which signals from many other remote sources can also be located.
В качестве модели скрытого ИРИ используется элементарный электрический или магнитный излучатели, электромагнитные поля которых обладают следующими свойствами [3, стр.206-214]:As a model of hidden IRI, elementary electric or magnetic emitters are used, the electromagnetic fields of which have the following properties [3, p. 206-214]:
а) ортогональность E-компоненты и H-компоненты;a) the orthogonality of the E-component and the H-component;
б) синфазность (с точностью до знака) сигналов E-датчиков и H-датчиков при приеме сигналов от близлежащего скрытого ИРИ.b) in-phase (accurate to the sign) signals of E-sensors and H-sensors when receiving signals from a nearby hidden IRI.
Note that the electromagnetic field of remote sources also has property “a”. However, instead of property “b”, another property is fulfilled for them:
в) временная ортогональность (сдвиг по фазе на π/2) сигналов E-датчиков и H-датчиков при приеме сигналов удаленных источников.c) temporal orthogonality (phase shift by π / 2) of the signals of E-sensors and H-sensors when receiving signals from remote sources.
We introduce an orthogonal coordinate system with unit vectors e i , i = 1, 2, 3, the beginning of which coincides with the location of the detector. The detector antenna system - of three structurally identical E-sensors and three structurally identical H-sensors - is as follows associated with the introduced coordinate system:
- центры E-датчиков и H-датчиков разместим в окрестности начала координат;- we place the centers of the E-sensors and H-sensors in the vicinity of the origin;
- оси симметрии первого (второго, третьего) Е-датчика и первого (второго, третьего) Н-датчика направим параллельно оси e1 (e2, e3).- the axis of symmetry of the first (second, third) E-sensor and the first (second, third) H-sensor will be directed parallel to the axis e 1 (e 2 , e 3 ).
We introduce the following notation:
- a i для комплексной огибающей выходного сигнала i-го E-датчика, i=1, 2, 3.- a i for the complex envelope of the output signal of the i-th E-sensor, i = 1, 2, 3.
- bi для комплексной огибающей выходного сигнала i-го H-датчика, i=1, 2, 3.- b i for the complex envelope of the output signal of the i-th H-sensor, i = 1, 2, 3.
Taking into account that the signals a i and b i are the potential difference for the pair of contacts of the i-th E-sensor and H-sensor, respectively (i = 1, 2, 3), the introduction of a i and b i implies the allocation in each such pair zero (reference) and information contacts. In order to be able to use the mathematical apparatus of linear algebra in the future, the choice of zero and information contacts must be carried out uniformly for all E-sensors and uniformly for all H-sensors. This separation of contacts is as follows:
- для i-го E-датчика направление движения от нулевого к информационному контакту (вдоль его оси симметрии) должно совпадать с направлением вектора ei ортогональной системы координат, i=1, 2, 3;- for the i-th E-sensor, the direction of movement from zero to the information contact (along its axis of symmetry) should coincide with the direction of the vector e i of the orthogonal coordinate system, i = 1, 2, 3;
Другими словами, указанный алгоритм выбора опорного и информационного контактов для каждого датчика эквивалентен введению электротехнического определения направления вдоль его оси симметрии.- for the i-th H-sensor, bypassing its frame - from zero to the information contact - should be perceived as clockwise movement from the side of the vector e i of the orthogonal coordinate system, i = 1, 2, 3. In other words, the specified algorithm for selecting the reference and information contacts for each sensor is equivalent to the introduction of electrotechnical determination of the direction along its axis of symmetry.
We introduce the following notation:
- V - комплексная огибающая сигнала скрытого ИРИ;- V - complex envelope of the signal of the hidden IRI;
- Wm - комплексная огибающая сигнала m-го удаленного источника;- W m is the complex envelope of the signal of the m-th remote source;
- α - единичный вектор вдоль E-компоненты поля скрытого ИРИ;- α is the unit vector along the E-component of the field of the latent IRI;
- β - единичный вектор вдоль H-компоненты поля скрытого ИРИ;- β is the unit vector along the H-component of the field of the latent IRI;
- ξm - единичный вектор вдоль E-компоненты поля m-го удаленного источника, m=1, 2, … М;- ξ m is the unit vector along the E-component of the field of the m-th remote source, m = 1, 2, ... M;
- ηm - единичный вектор вдоль H-компоненты поля m-го удаленного источника, m=1, 2, … М;- η m is the unit vector along the H-component of the field of the mth remote source, m = 1, 2, ... M;
-αi; βi; ξmi; ηmi - проекции соответствующих векторов на ось ei, i=1, 2, 3.-α i ; β i ; ξ mi ; η mi are the projections of the corresponding vectors on the axis e i , i = 1, 2, 3.
Then, taking into account the above properties “a”, “b”, “c”, the complex envelope of the output signal of the i-th E-sensor a i and the complex envelope of the output signal of the i-th H-sensor b i are expressed as follows in terms of the entered values:
In addition, in (1), (2) to simplify the calculations and without loss of generality, proportionality coefficients characterizing the sensitivity of E-sensors and H-sensors to the strengths of the E-component and H-field component are omitted.
The signals a i from the outputs of the E-sensors are supplied to the coupled first inputs of the nine correlators, and the signals b i from the outputs of the H-sensors are fed to the connected second inputs of these correlators, at the outputs of which the inter-component correlation coefficients are formed:
где «*» - знак комплексного сопряжения, «Re» - оператор выделения действительной части, а скобки <…> означают усреднение по времени.where “*” is the sign of complex conjugation, “Re” is the operator for selecting the real part, and the brackets <...> mean time averaging.
K:It is convenient to represent nine signals of inter-component correlation k ij in the form of elements of the matrix K:
Introducing the "signal" vectors:
где «Т» - знак транспонирования, (1) и (2) удобно представить в векторной форме:where "T" is the sign of transposition, (1) and (2) can be conveniently represented in vector form:
а матрицу K выразить с помощью тензорного произведения (знак «⊗») этих векторов:and express the matrix K using the tensor product (“⊗” sign) of these vectors:
Подстановка (6), (7) в (8) дает:where the “+” sign denotes complex conjugation and transposition at the same time. Substitution of (6), (7) into (8) gives:
где K0 - «сигнальная» матрица скрытого ИРИ и N - «помеховая» матрица, имеют следующий вид:where K 0 is the “signal” matrix of the latent IRI and N is the “jamming” matrix, have the following form:
K0.Taking into account the independence of signals from various sources, it follows from (10) and (11) that inter-component correlation processing significantly reduces the influence of signals from remote sources and, on the contrary, emphasizes the presence of a hidden IRI signal, i.e. provides a small "interference" matrix N in comparison with the "signal" matrix K 0 .
The static mode of operation of the detector involves finding two different functions of nine elements {k ij } of the matrix K, which form the signal S and threshold P values, respectively, as a result of which a decision is made to detect a hidden IRI signal.
K:We start by choosing the function that forms the threshold value P, for which we consider the expression for the trace (tr) of the matrix K:
If the “noise” matrix N is small compared to the “signal” matrix K 0, expression (12) takes the form:
Using the definition of the scalar product of the vectors α and β, we rewrite (13) in the form:
е.moreover, the right-hand side of (14) due to the equality (α; β) = 0, due to the above property “a”, turns out to be zero. This means that, under the above assumptions, the hidden IRI signal does not affect the trace size of the matrix K, and therefore it is advisable to use its modulus (or a value proportional to it) as a threshold, i.e.
дуального по отношению к кососимметрической составляющей K-KT матрицы K, который полностью определяет эту составляющую:dual with respect to the skew-symmetric component KK T of the matrix K, which completely defines this component:
If the "noise" matrix N is small compared to the "signal" matrix K 0, vector (16) will take the form:
In radio engineering terms, the operation of taking the module in (15), (19) means the allocation of the amplitude of the corresponding signals. In particular, the value P is the amplitude of the total signal k 11 + k 22 + k 33 , and the value S is the total amplitude of the difference signals included in (19). As correlators performing function (3), you can use a balanced modulator with a low-pass filter at the output, the inertia of which is selected from the condition of eliminating beats between signals of different remote sources, and the conversions performed on the signals k ij can be performed either in analog or digital form.
