Abstract
Description
The invention relates to plants for granulating products from their melts, in particular for the production of granular fertilizers, and can be used in chemical and other industries.
М. 196-197).A granulation tower is known, including a hollow body, a melt sprinkler in the upper part, air supply windows and a receiving and guiding device in the lower part of the tower made in the form of a conical receiving hopper, a conveyor for unloading granules (Gorlovsky D.M. et al. Urea technology Leningrad: Chemistry, 1981, p.196-197).
The disadvantages of this design of the granulation tower include the occurrence of sticking of uncured material on the surface of the hopper during operation, which leads to the formation of agglomerates, which, when breaking off the surface of the hopper, fall into the final product, which leads to a violation of the requirements for its particle size distribution and the need to install additional equipment outside the granulation tower for screening, dissolving or destroying agglomerates. Large agglomerates falling down can cause the hopper to become clogged. To clean the hopper, it is necessary to periodically stop the operation of the granulation tower, followed by mechanical cleaning of the surface of the hopper by manual means. Such stops lead to disruption of the continuous operation of the technological cycle, and mechanical cleaning may damage the surface of the hopper.
В. 183-184).Known and closest to the proposed granulation tower, including a hollow body, a melt sprinkler in the upper part, air supply windows and a receiving and guiding device in the lower part of the tower, equipped with vibration means with the ability to work in periodic mode, a conveyor for unloading granules ( Klassen P.V. et al. Granulation, Moscow: Chemistry, 1991, p.183-184).
The receiving and guiding device of this installation is made in the form of a steel conical hopper mounted on a metal frame, consisting of four conical belts, each of which is mounted on the frame with pendants. On the upper three zones there are periodically working vibrators.
The disadvantages of this device include structural complexity and, like the above-described device, the sticking of unhardened material on the surface of the hopper and the formation of agglomerates that occur during operation. Periodically working vibrators attached to the three upper conical belts are used to clean up the growths that arise. In the areas of greatest adhesion on the conical belts, metal rods are located that beat off the growths when the vibrators are turned on.
The problem solved by the invention is to improve existing installations for producing granular products.
The technical result obtained by the implementation of the invention is to minimize the sticking of uncured material on the surface of the receiving and guiding device of the granulation tower, preventing the formation of large agglomerates, reducing the destruction of granules and simplifying the design of the receiving and guiding device.
To achieve this result, a granulation tower is proposed, including a hollow body, a melt sprinkler in the upper part, air supply windows with guide plates and a receiving and guiding device in the lower part of the tower equipped with vibration means, a conveyor for unloading granules, characterized in that the guiding device is made of separate sheets located in two planes parallel to the axis of the conveyor, with the sheets in each of the planes being in the direction perp to the axis of the conveyor, each of the sheets is equipped with means for vibration with the possibility of constant operation, the planes in which the sheets are located are angled towards each other so that the lower straight edges of the sheets are parallel and placed above the conveyor, the distance between the edges does not exceed the width conveyor, and the remaining outer edges of the sheets are adjacent with a gap to the walls of the housing. Part of the guide plates located in the air supply windows can be installed with an inclination so that the inner edge of the plates is placed below the outer edge, the receiving-guiding device can be made of corrugated sheets, the corrugations of which are directed perpendicular to the conveyor axis, and also the receiving-guiding the device may have a release coating.
In this invention, the receiving and guiding device of the granulation tower is made of separate sheets located in two planes along opposite sides of the conveyor with an inclination to it. The sheets are oriented perpendicular to the conveyor. To each sheet is attached a constantly working vibrator, causing it to vibrate. Constant vibration prevents the sticking of individual unhardened granules to the surface of the sheets and the formation of agglomerates. The implementation of the receiving-guiding device from several separate sheets allows for uniform vibration of the entire surface of the receiving-guiding device and facilitates installation of the structure.
Separate sheets of which the receiving-guiding device consists, with respect to each other can be located both end-to-end with a small gap, and with overlapping edges.
The granulation tower can be equipped with means to prevent possible spilling of granules into the gaps between the sheets of the receiving and guiding device and the adjacent walls of the tower body, sheets and the conveyor guard, into the gaps between the individual sheets forming the receiving and guiding device. For this, a variety of engineering tools can be used, for example visors, rubber or fabric seals, etc. Also, a slight excess air pressure may be created in the cavity under the receiving-guiding device to prevent the ingress of dust and small particles.
To increase rigidity and reduce weight, the sheets can be made of corrugated metal.
The guide plates located at the bottom of the air supply windows are slanted so that the inner edge of the plates is located below the outer edge. This ensures that part of the air flow is directed to blowing the surface of the receiving and guiding device in order to form such a final flight path of the granules at which they collide with the surface of the receiving and guiding device at the most acute angle. This reduces the risk of destruction and sticking of the granules. Intensive blowing of the surface of the receiving and guiding device also provides additional cooling and solidification of the granules.
Various embodiments of the invention are possible depending on the shape of the granulation tower body. In the circular section housing, the receiving and guiding device will be made of sheets arranged in two planes forming elliptical segments. In the rectangular housing, the sheets will be arranged in two planes having a rectangular shape.
