Abstract
Description
The invention relates to antenna technology and may find application in mobile satellite communication stations for the organization of radio communications on two or more relay trunks, in particular in mobile satellite communication stations placed on vehicles.
Known mobile satellite communications station [1. Patent No. 101274 for the utility model “Mobile satellite communications station”], containing two antenna posts located in the vehicle body of the vehicle, each of which has a mirror antenna with a guidance mechanism and is mounted on a swivel bracket with the possibility of extension into the working position from the body of the van vehicle.
The disadvantage of the mobile satellite communications station according to patent No. 101274 is the low reliability of the independent operation of the antenna posts in the case when one of the antenna posts is working to receive and the other to transmit a signal. The appearance of this drawback is due to the presence of lateral radiation in the reflector antennas, which interferes with signal reception.
Known mobile satellite communications station [2. Thematic collection “Communications in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation - 2006”, p.24, “Mobile communications satellite station R-441-L”], in which two antenna posts can operate independently. The possibility of such work is achieved in this station by increasing the distance between the antenna posts in the working position. The station contains a hardware car with a van body, in which two antenna posts are located in a niche in the rear wall of the van body. The station provides the organization of satellite communications in one of the ranges of choice when pulling one of the antenna posts out of the box body. When one of the antenna posts is removed from the wagon body to a distance of up to 20 m, the independent operation of the antenna posts in different frequency ranges through two barrel transponders is ensured. In the working position in the station, one of the antenna posts is installed on the platform extended from the van body.
The mobile satellite communications station R-441-L [2] is taken as a prototype of the proposed technical solution.
The disadvantages of the prototype are the long lead time and the significant complexity of the deployment, coagulation of the station in the working, transport position with the independent operation of the mirror antennas in different frequency ranges. These disadvantages are due to the need for staff to move one of the antenna posts to a distance of 20 m from the hardware machine. Moving the antenna post, which has significant weight, is a time-consuming operation.
The aim of the invention is to reduce mutual interference with signal reception during independent operation of antenna posts by shielding the side radiation of mirror antennas. In addition, it is desirable to reduce the time and reduce the complexity of the work on the deployment, coagulation of the station.
This goal is achieved by the fact that a mobile satellite communication station containing a vehicle with a box body and two antenna posts with mirror antennas, placed in a transport position in a niche in the wall of the box body with the ability to extend the antenna posts from the box body to the working position, equipped with a retractable conductive screen installed between the antenna posts in the working position from the rear wall of the niche along its height. In addition, in order to optimize the conditions for suppressing mutual interference in signal reception, the conductive screen is made with an adjustable extension length. In order to reduce the amount of work to modernize the existing fleet of stations, a niche was made in the rear wall of the box body.
Figure 1 schematically shows a top view of a box van of the proposed mobile satellite communications station with antenna posts in the working position. The numbers in Fig. 1 indicate: 1 - box body; 2 - antenna post with a mirror antenna; 3 - retractable, conductive screen.
The deployment of a mobile satellite communications station in the working position is performed in the following sequence: antenna posts 2 are pulled out of the box body 1; pushing the conductive screen 3, the extension length of which is regulated to a minimum level of mutual interference; then, in the normal mode, they perform alignment and pointing of the mirror antennas to communication satellites.
Coagulation of the station in the transport position is performed in the reverse order.
The presence of a retractable, electrically conductive screen installed between the antenna posts in the proposed station ensures their independent operation from the wagon body in different frequency ranges and reduces, in comparison with the prototype, the duration and laboriousness of the deployment and collapse of the station.
