Abstract
Description
Technical field
The invention relates to the field of subsurface radar, and in particular to methods for determining the location and shape of inhomogeneities and inclusions in condensed matter.
State of the art
A known method of subsurface sounding (Finkelstein MI, Kutev VA, Zolotarev VP The use of radar subsurface sounding in engineering geology. M., Nedra, 1986, p. 46). It is based on the use of a continuous signal with a change in frequency according to a symmetric or asymmetric sawtooth law. The beat frequency between the reference / direct / and the reflected signals is a function of the distance to the object. The disadvantage of the device that impedes obtaining the desired technical result is the low resolution, i.e. the impossibility of determining the location and shape of heterogeneities and inclusions in terms of the studied object.
There is also a method of sensing condensed matter (Journal of Applied Physics, v.56, No. 9, 1984, p.2575) with a step change in frequency in a given range. The disadvantage of this method, which prevents obtaining the required technical result, is that a frequency change of more than 25% leads to a sharp decrease in the amplitude of the probe signal at the edges of the frequency range, as well as the difficulty in obtaining a uniform amplitude-frequency characteristic.
The closest analogue (prototype) is a method of sensing condensed matter (patent application RU 2000103678 G01V 3/12, G01N 22/00 of 02/17/2000) with a stepwise change in the signal in a given frequency range, while the frequencies of the probing signal are selected with a uniform in a range of

при этом количество отдельных частот в диапазоне от fmin до fmax должно быть не менее пяти.the number of individual frequencies in the range from f min to f max should be at least five.
The disadvantage of this method is that when it is implemented, the problem of uneven amplitude-frequency characteristics arises, which leads to a decrease in the dynamic range, and, as a consequence, a decrease in the detection depth of objects in condensed media.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
ЗадачаA task
The technical problem is to eliminate this drawback due to the automatic alignment of the amplitude-frequency characteristics.
The essence of the method
The technical result is achieved in that, in contrast to the known method, automatic equalization of the amplitude-frequency characteristic is additionally carried out by changing the transmitter power, equalization of the amplitude-frequency characteristic can also be carried out by changing the gain of the receiver.

Information confirming the possibility of carrying out the invention
Это приводит к ограничению значения усиления приемника 2 и уменьшению контрастности изображения исследуемого объекта 5, получаемого на средстве управлении и отображения визуальной информацией об объекте (ЭВМ) 4.The technical implementation of the method is shown in the block diagram of the subsurface holographic locator of Fig. 1. When scanning the surface of a condensed medium with a subsurface holographic locator, the amplitude of the signal reflected from the surface of the signal sent by the transmitter 1 significantly exceeds the amplitude of the signal reflected from the studied object 5. Due to the uneven amplitude-frequency characteristics of the signal reflected from the surface, the amplitude of the received signal at the input of receiver 2 can be several times exceed the amplitude of the signal reflected from the studied object 5. This leads to a limitation of the value of the force receiver 2 and reducing the contrast of the image of the investigated object 5, obtained on the means of management and display of visual information about the object (computer) 4.
When the amplitude-frequency characteristics are equalized by equalization system 3, a signal with a constant amplitude reflected from the surface of the condensed medium can be compensated (subtracted) from the received signal and the signal amplification reflected from the studied object 5 will be increased by several (up to ten) times. This leads to an increase in the contrast of the investigated object in the resulting radio holographic image.
2.Similarly, the frequency response can be equalized by changing the gain of the input amplifier of the receiver 2.
The method of obtaining radio holograms of subsurface objects was implemented in the development of an experimental model of the subsurface holographic locator "Raskan-2". Figure 4 presents the radio holograms obtained at various frequencies (f = 3.6 ... 4.0 GHz), without alignment and with equalization of the frequency response. During the experiments, probing of the same section of the wall model was carried out. The frequency in each of the experiments was selected individually and represented a sequential series of radio images taken in the range from 3.6 to 4.0 GHz with a step of 100 MHz. The experiments were carried out on the plot of the wall layout, which housed the following objects: two wires, five coins and a hole in the second layer of plaster (it is located on the right side of the image). Looking through the radio holograms sequentially without equalizing the amplitude-frequency characteristics (left row), it can be seen that with increasing frequency the contrast of objects changes with respect to the background. When performing frequency equalization, the quality of the radio holographic image increases significantly, which makes it possible to study objects at a greater depth.
The experiments showed the high efficiency of the proposed method for obtaining radio holograms of subsurface objects and an experimental device developed on its basis for the technical diagnosis of building structures.
