Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to the field of civilian underwater shipbuilding, and in particular, to ensuring the safety of all-season functioning underwater-under-ice technical means of mining in ice-covered waters of the deep Arctic shelf.
Known projects of technical means as part of underwater-under-ice technological complexes for hydrocarbon production on the deep shelf of the Arctic seas [1], [2]. As a rule, they include inhabited objects that can be characterized as objects of increased technical and humanitarian risk, for example, submarine drilling vessels, underwater transport vehicles, etc. Each of these objects is designed taking into account their ability to ascend to the sea surface in the normal mode without collisions with ice in areas planned for field development, for example, in the Kara Sea, gas condensate fields Leningradskoye, Rusanovskoye, where the ice thickness reaches 2 meters. Usually, the ascent regime in ice is carried out very carefully and slowly due to the possibility of damage to the structure and devices of the pop-up object from collisions with ice formations. After smoothly adhering the object to the lower edge of the ice, the question of further actions is solved: either ascent due to the creation of additional buoyancy by draining ballast tanks and breaking ice, or, if buoyancy is not enough, remain in the ice position awaiting external assistance.
According to the experience of the operation of the Navy submarines in the Arctic, ascent in ice in the normal mode, that is, smoothly and without collisions, is usually carried out after maneuvering, sometimes quite long, in search of “weak” places in the ice cover: wormwood, cracks, scattered spots, areas with thin ice. This situation is fundamentally different from the need for an emergency ascent of an industrial underwater object due to an emergency, for example, on board an underwater drilling vessel or at a well, when there is no time and opportunity to search for suitable “weak” spots in the ice.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
In the event of an emergency, for example, during drilling or repair work on a subsea well, the underwater object should be urgently removed from the danger zone, regardless of the presence and condition of the ice cover on the sea surface.
It is proposed to create the necessary braking effect during an emergency (emergency) ascent of an underwater object in the ice, for example, an underwater drilling vessel, due to the removal of buoyancy tanks on flexible connections in front of the pop-up object, which, when ice is attached to the bottom surface of the ice cover, lose lift and automatically stop further ascent of the underwater object and its collision with ice.
In this situation, several scenarios for the further development of events are possible:
а) плавно подтягиваясь на гибких связях, подводный объект входит в прямой жесткий контакт со льдом и, за счет откачки воды из цистерн главного балласта и создания необходимой плавучести, проламывает лед и всплывает в заданное положение;a) smoothly pulling up on flexible connections, the underwater object makes direct hard contact with ice and, due to pumping water from the tanks of the main ballast and creating the necessary buoyancy, breaks the ice and floats to a predetermined position;
б) при невозможности создания величины плавучести, достаточной для разрушения льда при всплытии, подводный объект после приледнения к нижней кромке льда дрейфует вместе с ним в ожидании внешней помощи, например, ледокола;b) if it is not possible to create a buoyancy value sufficient to break the ice upon ascent, the underwater object drifts with it after gliding to the bottom edge of the ice in anticipation of external assistance, for example, an icebreaker;
в) при наличии на борту источника энергии и средств, достаточных для самостоятельного движения объекта под водой, со скользящими по нижней кромке льда буксируемыми цистернами плавучести, которые для исключения зацепов изготавливают в виде одного или нескольких сочлененных между собой удобообтекаемых тел, представляющих собой поплавки с большим соотношением длины к ширине, например 5:1, с креплением гибких связей к нижним оконечностям цистерн плавучести.c) if there is an energy source on board and sufficient means for independent movement of the object under water with towed buoyancy tanks sliding along the lower edge of the ice, which, in order to exclude hooks, are made in the form of one or more conveniently flowing bodies interconnected, which are floats with large the ratio of length to width, for example 5: 1, with the fastening of flexible ties to the lower ends of the buoyancy tanks.
In FIG. 1 on the example of an underwater drilling vessel presents the initial stage of the ascent of the
