Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of deposition of metal coatings and can be used for chemical nickel plating of steel parts both for the purpose of corrosion protection and for solving functional problems: increasing microhardness, wear resistance and heat resistance, creating cutting layers.
За прототип к заявленному изобретению принимаем патент РФ №2108416, МПК С25D 15/00, опубликован 10.04.1998 г., сущность которого заключается в том, что в раствор химического никелирования, содержащий никель сернокислый, натрий уксуснокислый, гипофосфит натрия и инертные частицы, дополнительно введен препарат хромоксан, при этом содержание всех указанных компонентов должно быть в следующих соотношениях (г/л):For the prototype of the claimed invention, we take the patent of the Russian Federation No. 2108416, IPC C25D 15/00, published on 04/10/1998, the essence of which is that in a solution of chemical nickel containing nickel sulfate, sodium acetate, sodium hypophosphite and inert particles, additionally the drug chromoxane was introduced, while the content of all these components should be in the following ratios (g / l):
20nickel sulfate 20
10sodium acetate 10
10sodium hypophosphite 10
This solution in composition is closest to the declared. With the introduction of inert particles (ASB diamond (particle size 63-80 μm) and talc (particle size 5-10 μm) at a temperature of 92 ° C, a pH of 4.6 and a loading density of 1 dm 2 / L, composite chemical coatings with particles included in them.
The disadvantage of the prototype is the lack of inclusion of inert particles in the coating and the uneven distribution over the entire volume of the coating (especially along the complex profile of the part), low microhardness and corrosion resistance of the coating. In some areas of the surface to be coated, there is an excess of particles, sometimes overlapping each other, and in other areas, their complete absence in the nickel coating. A small number of particles coprecipitated with nickel and their uneven distribution leads to different coatings in different areas, which negatively affects the performance of the product. An object of the invention is to eliminate these drawbacks by introducing inert particles of a different nature, increasing the number of particles included in the nickel precipitate, increasing the uniformity of their distribution in the coating, and improving the physicomechanical properties of the nickel coating.
The technical problem is solved in a solution for the chemical deposition of composite nickel coatings containing nickel sulfate, sodium acetate, sodium hypophosphite, inert particles with the following content, g / l:
20nickel sulfate 20
10sodium acetate 10
10sodium hypophosphite 10
отличающийся тем, что инертные частицы имеют размеры 50…80 нм и концентрация их в растворе составляет 0,3 г/л, причем в качестве инертных частиц используются нанодисперсный порошок (НДП) оксида алюминия.characterized in that the inert particles have sizes of 50 ... 80 nm and their concentration in the solution is 0.3 g / l, moreover, nanodispersed powder (NDP) of aluminum oxide is used as inert particles.
The advantages of the solution over the prototype: sufficient introduction of particles in the coating, uniform distribution of particles in the coating, high microhardness of the obtained nickel coating, high corrosion resistance.
The figure 1 presents a scheme for applying composite nickel coatings. The figure 2 presents the surface of the Nickel coating: a) without particles; b) with particles. The table shows the results of microhardness tests.
1).We apply coatings in a glass vessel 1 (see Fig. 1).
После тщательного перемешивания поднимаем температуру до рабочей - 92°C.The preparation of
В качестве инертных частиц 4 используем нанодисперсный порошок (НДП) оксида алюминия (размер частиц 50…80 нм).In the solution we place steel plates 3 (steel 65G, size 100 × 15 × 2 mm) located vertically. The process of chemical nickel plating is carried out under the following conditions: temperature 92 ° C, acidity pH 4.6, coating time 1 h. As
The concentration of the NDP is selected in such a way as to ensure the achievement of the maximum effect, the optimal number of particles included in the coating, the uniformity of their distribution and the improvement of the physicomechanical properties of the nickel coating. With a decrease in concentration (less than 0.3 g / l), the efficiency of particle incorporation decreases, with an increase in particles in solution (more than 0.3 g / l) it leads to an excess of particles in the coating, thereby reducing the functional properties of the coating.
2 (×500).Visually, the uniformity of the inclusion of particles in the precipitate of chemical nickel is determined by counting their number in the coating in the field of view of the MIRA II TESCAN electron microscope (Czech Republic). For comparison, photographs of the structure of the surfaces of nickel coatings without particles a) and coatings with embedded particles b) are presented in Fig. 2 (× 500).
In order to make sure that the particles penetrate more uniformly and increase the microhardness of the coating, microhardness tests were carried out according to GOST 9450-76 “Measurement of microhardness by indentation of diamond tips” on the PMT-3 device. The microhardness was measured on the same steel plates in three zones (1 - the upper part of the plate, 2 - the middle part of the plate, 3 - the lower part of the plate), six measurements in each zone, calculating the average microhardness in each zone.
The results of the experiments presented in the table show that the use of inert particles of NDP aluminum oxide with particle sizes of 50 ... 80 nm and their concentration in solution of 0.3 g / l allows you to increase the uniformity of the introduction of particles into the coating and increase the microhardness of the coating in 1, 9 times compared to the coating without NDP.
Corrosion tests will be carried out according to GOST 9.308-85 at high relative humidity and temperature with periodic condensation of moisture and the introduction of an aggressive component - sodium chloride. Samples must be weighed on an analytical balance such as VLA-200M and placed in a corrosion test chamber.
For testing, we prepare twelve samples. Six of them are coated with nickel, and six are coated with nickel.
To obtain salt fog, we use a solution of sodium chloride concentration of 50 g / DM 3 . Samples will be placed in a corrosion test chamber, which we will heat to a temperature of 35 ° C. The duration of the tests is 12 hours. We spray the salt fog at the beginning of each hour of testing.
Corrosion resistance of coatings will be evaluated by the loss of mass of the samples after removal of corrosion products.
20°C.Corrosion products can be removed by placing the parts after testing in a bath with a solution (8% NaOH solution) and keeping them for 20 minutes at a temperature of 20 ° C.
As a result of the tests, the corrosion resistance of the composite nickel coating is 2.2 times higher than that of a pure nickel coating.
