Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of electrical engineering and can be used to power a low-frequency pulse periodic load, in particular for powering transistor radio transmitters.
Известен стабилизирующий преобразователь сетевого напряжения, содержащий сетевой выпрямитель, повышающий регулятор напряжения с активным корректором коэффициента мощности, регулируемый конвертор (Электрическое питание, 2006, №3, с.31-33).Known stabilizing converter of mains voltage, containing a network rectifier, increasing the voltage regulator with an active corrector of the power factor, adjustable converter (Electric power, 2006, No. 3, p.31-33).
Such a converter has a low power factor and a large modulation of the input current consumption due to its dips to zero when working on a low-frequency pulsed periodic load.
Known closest to the claimed in terms of essential features is a stabilizing network voltage converter containing a network rectifier, an adjustable converter, a step-up voltage regulator with an active power factor corrector, consisting of an inductance, a key field-effect transistor, a switching diode, a storage capacitor, two resistive voltage dividers, a sensor charging current, the first negative feedback voltage amplifier, an analog multiplier with three control inputs, a negative feedback current amplifier, a pulse-width modulator, three bias resistors, a first reference voltage source, an auxiliary power supply (US patent No. 7239120 B2, NKI 323/222, 2007).
In this stabilizing converter of the mains voltage, a high modulation of the input current consumption from the mains occurs and the power factor sharply decreases when working on a low-frequency pulsed periodic load. These shortcomings are caused by dips to the zero value of the charging current of the storage capacitor, and, accordingly, of the input current, during a pause of the pulse load current. The fact is that, in the low-frequency pulse load mode, the voltage ripple on the storage capacitor is several times higher than the static voltage deviation on it for the period average value of the load pulse current. Therefore, the first voltage amplifier periodically switches during the pulse from cut-off mode to saturation mode, and during a pause from saturation mode to cut-off mode, which results in a low-frequency pulsed nature of the charging current of the storage capacitor.
The technical result to which the invention is directed is to reduce the modulation of the input current consumption from the mains and increase the power factor when working on a low-frequency pulsed periodic load.

The voltage divider 23 is used to set the desired operating mode of the output circuit of the optotransistor 28 and the shape of its output current.
3.The voltage divider 10 sets the maximum allowable voltage at the storage capacitor 7 in the idle mode of the up-regulator 3.
The voltage divider 24 is used to form a control voltage at the non-inverting input of the amplifier 21 with the corresponding filtering coefficient of the variable voltage component of the storage capacitor 7 in the pulse periodic load mode. The time constant of the voltage divider 24 is comparable to the duration of the largest period of the pulsed low-frequency load.
7.The voltage divider 25 sets the average voltage value on the capacitor 7 in the nominal pulse load mode, which is less than the open circuit voltage by a value equal to the static deviation and half the variable voltage component of the storage capacitor 7.
The voltage divider 26 sets the threshold voltage level for switching the comparator 22 and with it the entire inertial unit 20 for automatically controlling the charging current from the regulation mode to the cutoff mode when the voltage across the storage capacitor 7 passes through the lower permissible decay limit. This puts the voltage regulator 3 in the mode with the maximum allowable charging current in order to reduce the duration of the transient process when the voltage regulator 3 is turned on, as well as with an abrupt increase in the pulse current of the load.
The bias resistor 17 is used as the output current sensor of the analog multiplier 13. The voltage at the resistor 17 is a reference, with which the voltage released at the charging current sensor 8 is compared at the input of the current amplifier 14.
Resistor 16 is used as the output current sensor of the automatic charging current control unit 20. The voltage released by the resistor 16 is supplied to the inverting input of the current amplifier 14 to ensure its operation in the regulation zone in the mode of a pulsed periodic load.
The operation of the device in the low-frequency pulse periodic load mode is as follows. An adjustable converter converts the output voltage of the regulator 3 generated on the storage capacitor 7 into a constant stabilized voltage of the required level applied to the output terminals 33 and 34 for connecting the load. The amplitude value of the voltage across the capacitor 7 during the action of the load pulse changes from the upper level, which is separated from the idle by a static deviation, to the lower level by the value of the variable component, and during a pause changes from the lower level to the upper level. In this mode, the control voltage at the input of the voltage amplifier 12 increases to values at which it switches to saturation mode. At the output of amplifier 12, a maximum signal is generated, which is fed to an analog multiplier 13 and puts it into a mode with a maximum output current, from which an excess bias voltage is generated at resistor 17 and is fed to the non-inverting input of current amplifier 14. At the same time, the inertial control unit 20, using the bias resistor 16, generates an additional signal that is opposite in effect at the inverting input of the current amplifier 14, which compensates for the overestimated voltage level on the bias resistor 17 and supports the current amplifier 14 in the control zone. The output voltage of the amplifier 14 is supplied to the control input of the pulse-width modulator 15, which, using the key transistor 6, generates high-frequency charging current pulses in the inductance, the discharge pulse currents of which through the diode 5 enter the storage capacitor 7. The bias voltage on the resistor 16 depends on the average the voltage values at the storage capacitor 7 for a specific mode of the pulsed periodic load. The value of the charging current passing through the current sensor 8 will be proportional to the difference between the bias voltages on the resistors 17 and 16. With a constant pulse load mode, the voltages on the resistors 17 and 16 also remain constant. Therefore, the charging current remains unchanged and continuous.
With a decrease in the amplitude of the pulses of the load current, the average value of the pulse current for the period and the value of the charging current will decrease. Indeed, with a decrease in the amplitude of the load current pulses, the variable component of the voltage at the storage capacitor 7 decreases, which leads to an increase in the average voltage value on it. This feedback chain from the divider 24, the amplifier 21, the optotransistor 28 leads to an increase in the bias voltage on the resistor 16. This causes a decrease in the input and output voltages of the amplifier 14 and the input voltage of the modulator 15, a decrease in the pulse duration at the output of the modulator 15, a decrease in the amplitude of the chargers and discharge high-frequency pulses of the inductance current 4. Ultimately, the charging current will decrease to a new value while maintaining its continuity.
Thus, the proposed stabilizing converter of the mains voltage eliminates the modulation of the input current consumption from the mains and provides a high (more than 0.98) power factor when working on a low-frequency pulsed periodic load.
The proposed technical solution was tested as part of a power supply unit with an output voltage of 25 V for a pulse load with a frequency of 5 Hz, duty cycle 2 and a current amplitude of 28 A. The results are positive. If, before the introduction of the proposed solution, the modulation coefficient of the input current consumption from the single-phase network (220 V, 50 Hz) was 100%, and the power factor of the unit was less than 75%, then after the introduction of the proposed solution into the block, the modulation coefficient of the input current of the unit decreased to less than 3%, and the power factor of the unit increased to over 98%. In addition, the power supply unit with the proposed technical solution showed high technical characteristics and when working on a continuous (constant) load.
