Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of ferrous metallurgy and heat treatment and can be used to obtain high-strength sheet low-alloy steel for metal structures operating in the Far North.
1.For the manufacture of welded metal structures operating at negative temperatures, thermo-improved hot-rolled sheet metal with a thickness of 10-40 mm from welded cold-resistant chromium-manganese steel is used. Hot-rolled sheets after thermal improvement should combine high strength and toughness at low temperatures. The required properties of hot-rolled sheets in the delivery state (TU 14-101-812-2010) are given in Table 1.
Известен способ производства толстолистового проката из свариваемой хромомарганцевой стали, включающий выплавку и непрерывную разливку в слябы стали следующего химического состава, мас.%:A known method of producing plate from welded chromium-manganese steel, including smelting and continuous casting into slabs of steel of the following chemical composition, wt.%:
Слябы нагревают до температуры 1160-1190°С, подвергают черновой прокатке, чистовой прокатке с суммарным относительным обжатием не менее 70% и температурой конца прокатки не выше 820°С, после чего листы закаливают водой от температуры 900-950°С и подвергают высокотемпературному отпуску при 600-730°С [Патент РФ №2255123, МПК C21D 8/02, С22С 38/58].The slabs are heated to a temperature of 1160-1190 ° C, subjected to rough rolling, finishing rolling with a total relative compression of at least 70% and a temperature of the end of rolling not higher than 820 ° C, after which the sheets are quenched with water from a temperature of 900-950 ° C and subjected to high temperature tempering at 600-730 ° C [RF Patent No. 2255123, IPC C21D 8/02, C22C 38/58].
The disadvantages of this method are that sheet steel after quenching and high temperature tempering has a low complex of mechanical properties and has low corrosion resistance.
Наиболее близким аналогом к предлагаемому изобретению является способ производства толстолистового проката из свариваемой хромомарганцевой стали марки 17ГС (ГОСТ 19281-89) следующего химического состава, мас.%:The closest analogue to the present invention is a method for the production of plate from welded chromium manganese steel grade 17GS (GOST 19281-89) of the following chemical composition, wt.%:
241-244, 271-275].Smelted steel is subjected to continuous casting at a speed of up to 1.5-2.0 m / min. Continuously cast slabs are heated in a methodical furnace to a temperature of 1220-1280 ° C, subjected to rough rolling in the temperature range of 1050-1180 ° C to an intermediate thickness of 30-40 mm and finishing rolling in a regulated temperature range of 900-1050 ° C. To improve the mechanical properties, hot-rolled sheets are subjected to thermal improvement (hardening and high tempering) [Matrosov Yu.I. and others. Steel for gas pipelines. M .: Metallurgy, 1989, p.241-244, 271-275].
The disadvantages of this method are that the set of mechanical properties of plate is lower than required, and plate steel has low corrosion resistance.
The technical problem solved by the invention is to increase the complex of mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of plate.
Для решения технической задачи в предлагаемом способе производства толстолистового проката из свариваемой хромомарганцевой стали, включающем непрерывную разливку стали в слябы, их нагрев, многопроходную горячую прокатку в листы в регламентированном температурном диапазоне, закалку водой и отпуск, согласно предложению непрерывной разливке подвергают сталь следующего химического состава, мас.%:To solve the technical problem in the proposed method for the production of plate products from welded chrome-manganese steel, including continuous casting of steel into slabs, their heating, multi-pass hot rolling into sheets in a regulated temperature range, water quenching and tempering, according to the proposal, steel of the following chemical composition is subjected to continuous casting, wt.%:
Continuous casting is carried out at a speed of 0.7-2.0 m / min when the mold is oscillated along the casting axis with a frequency of 30-270 min -1 and an amplitude of 2.5-10.0 mm, hot rolling is carried out with a total relative compression of at least 50 % and complete at a temperature of 830-950 ° C, the hardening of the sheets is carried out at a temperature of 850-930 ° C, and leave at a temperature of 600-690 ° C.
The invention consists in the following. The final set of mechanical properties and the corrosion resistance of plate products are determined simultaneously by its chemical composition, continuous casting conditions, temperature conditions of rolling, hardening and tempering. In the process of conducting experimental studies, all significant technological factors were varied, achieving the desired mechanical properties while ensuring maximum corrosion resistance of the sheets.
Carbon in steel of the proposed composition determines its strength properties. A decrease in carbon content of less than 0.13% leads to a drop in strength below an acceptable level. An increase in carbon content in excess of 0.18% impairs the ductility and toughness of the steel.
Silicon deoxidizes and strengthens the steel, increases its elastic properties. When the silicon content is less than 0.4%, the strength of the steel is insufficient. An increase in the silicon content of more than 0.7% leads to an increase in the number of silicate non-metallic inclusions, embrittlement of steel, and worsens its ductility.
Manganese is introduced to deoxidize and increase hardenability and strength of steel, binding impurity sulfur to sulfides. When the manganese content is less than 1.2%, the strength and ductility of sheet steel is reduced. An increase in the concentration of manganese in excess of 1.8% leads to the formation of a martensitic-bainitic structure in the middle of the thickness of the rolled product, which reduces the viscosity at low temperatures.
Chrome increases the strength, toughness, corrosion resistance and hardenability of steel. At a concentration of less than 0.4%, the strength and viscosity are below acceptable values. An increase in chromium content of more than 0.8% leads to a loss of ductility and a decrease in viscosity due to the growth of carbides.
KCV-40.Copper increases the strength and corrosion resistance of steel. In addition, copper increases the stability of austenite, which is especially important during the final heat treatment of steel sheets. At a copper concentration of less than 0.20%, steel sheets have insufficient plastic properties. An increase in copper concentration of more than 0.45% leads to a decrease in the impact strength of KCU -40 and KCV -40 .
Vanadium and niobium form carbides VC, NbC with carbon. Small carbides of vanadium and niobium are located along the boundaries of grains and subgrains, inhibit the movement of dislocations and thereby strengthen the steel. When the content of vanadium is less than 0.04%, its effect is not large enough, the properties of the steel are below the permissible level. An increase in the concentration of vanadium over 0.08% or niobium over 0.06% causes precipitation hardening and leads to embrittlement of grain boundaries. This affects the complex mechanical properties of steel.
Aluminum is a deoxidizing and modifying element. When the aluminum content is less than 0.02%, its effect is weak, steel has low mechanical properties. An increase in aluminum content of more than 0.05% does not lead to improved properties.
Titanium is a strong carbide forming element that strengthens steel. At a titanium concentration of less than 0.02%, its positive effect is negligible. An increase in titanium concentration of more than 0.05% does not contribute to further improvement of the properties of steel of the proposed composition.
Calcium is a modifying element. In addition, it binds sulfur to globular sulfides, increasing the viscosity properties of steel. At a calcium concentration of less than 0.002%, its effect is weak. An increase in calcium concentration of more than 0.030% increases the number and size of non-metallic inclusions, worsens the ductility of plate steel.
Higher corrosion resistance and strength are achieved through the introduction of cerium in the composition of steel. However, an increase in its concentration of more than 0.05% leads to an increase in cerium heterogeneity, which reduces the characteristics of viscosity and ductility.
Sulfur and phosphorus are harmful impurities that reduce the plastic and viscous properties. At a sulfur concentration of not more than 0.008% and phosphorus not more than 0.015%, their harmful effect is weak and does not lead to a noticeable decrease in the mechanical properties of steel. At the same time, a deeper removal of sulfur and phosphorus increases the cost of steel, making its production low-tech.
During continuous casting of chromium-manganese steel of the proposed composition containing cerium, it is necessary to maintain the casting speed in the range of 0.7-2.0 m / min and oscillate the mold along the casting axis with an amplitude of 2.5-10.0 mm. This avoids the violation of the stability of the casting process (eliminates the possibility of "tightening" the pouring nozzle), ensures the formation of a more uniform crystallization front and orderly growth of dendrites without the formation of clear boundaries when multidirectional crystallites meet, and reduces the segregation of alloying and impurity elements. As a result, a higher complex of mechanical properties of plate products is obtained.
Due to the application of the indicated parameters of continuous casting, the deformability of continuously cast metal during hot rolling is increased, and the minimum allowable relative total reduction necessary to ensure efficient processing of the cast structure and obtaining high mechanical properties of the sheets is reduced to 50%.
Rolling with a total relative compression of at least 50% and with a temperature of the end of rolling T kp = 830-950 ° C helps to intensify the allocation of reinforcing carbide particles and grinding of the microstructure of steel of the proposed composition.
After thermal improvement (hardening + tempering), simultaneously with hardening, the steel acquires a cellular structure that increases the viscosity at low temperatures.
Heating sheets to a temperature of 830-950 ° C, quenching with water and tempering at a temperature of 600-690 ° C provides an increase in the level and stability of the strength, viscosity and plastic properties of hot-rolled steel sheets of the proposed composition. Due to thermal improvement, inevitably existing in the practice of industrial production, fluctuations in the contents of chemical elements in steel, as well as temperature instability of the process are leveled, which favorably affects the level and stability of the mechanical properties of the sheets.
It was experimentally established that at a casting speed of less than 0.7 m / min in a molded slab, the segregation of alloying and impurity elements increases, porosity and axial friability increase, and the complex of mechanical properties of sheets deteriorates. With an increase in the casting speed of steel of this composition over 2.0 m / min, rupture of the ingot in the primary cooling zone is not excluded, which is unacceptable.
When oscillating the mold along the axis of the casting with an amplitude of less than 2.5 mm and a frequency of less than 30 min -1 does not exclude the "hang" of the cast billet. When “freezing”, the upper part of the slab remains motionless, while the lower part continues to move. This leads to rupture of the hardened shell of the ingot and the pouring of liquid steel. An increase in the oscillation amplitude of more than 10 mm, as well as an increase in its oscillation frequency of more than 270 min -1 , degrades the quality of continuously cast slabs and finished products.
When the total relative compression during hot rolling is less than 50% and the rolling is completed at a temperature T cp above 950 ° C, the optimum degree of grinding of the microstructure grains and mechanical processing of steel to the entire thickness of the sheet are not achieved. This leads to a decrease in strength and viscosity properties. A decrease in the temperature of the end of rolling below 830 ° C leads to the appearance of a texture of deformation and anisotropy of mechanical properties. This reduces the complex of mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of sheet steel.
When hardening from a temperature above 930 ° C in the microstructure of the proposed steel, the proportion of the ferritic phase increases by more than 30%, strength, toughness and corrosion resistance decrease. Lowering the quenching temperature below 850 ° C leads to the formation of dispersed precipitates in martensitic rails with Widmanstätt morphology, and a decrease in impact strength at low temperatures.
The release of hardened sheets at temperatures above 690 ° C reduces the density of the carbide phase, intensifies the processes of polygonization and recrystallization, which is accompanied by a decrease in the level of strength. A decrease in tempering temperature below 600 ° C leads to a deterioration in the plastic and viscous properties of plate products.

Smelted steel with composition No. 3 is transported to a vertical continuous casting machine and at a temperature t = 1485 ° C it is poured into a billet with a thickness of H 0 = 200 mm. The casting speed (the speed of drawing continuously cast billets from the mold) is maintained equal to V = 1.3 m / min. During the casting, the rectangular mold is informed of oscillations (oscillatory motion) along the casting axis with a frequency of f = 150 min -1 (150 vibrations per minute) with an amplitude of A = 6.0 mm.
A continuously cast billet is cut in the transverse direction with an amplitude of A = 6.0 mm.
Полученные слябы нагревают в методической печи до температуры аустенитизации Tнп=1230°С и прокатывают за 12 проходов на толстолистовом реверсивном стане 5000 в листы толщиной H1=40 мм с суммарной величиной относительного обжатия ε:A continuously cast billet is cut in the transverse direction using oxy-fuel cutting. The resulting slabs are heated in a methodical furnace to an austenitization temperature T np = 1230 ° C and rolled in 12 passes on a plate reversing mill 5000 into sheets with a thickness of H 1 = 40 mm with a total value of the relative compression ε:
During rolling (in the aisles and pauses between aisles), the sheets cool down. Rolling in the last pass is carried out at a temperature T kn = 890 ° C.
Hot rolled sheets are transported to a roller quenching machine. Before hardening, the sheets are heated to a temperature T s = 900 ° C and hardened with water. Hardened sheets are released at T from = 645 ° C.
After thermal improvement, samples are taken from the sheets and tested for mechanical properties and corrosion resistance (corrosion rate S) in salt fog.
3.Variants of the implementation of the method for the production of plate from welded chromium-manganese steel and indicators of their effectiveness are given in table 3.
From tables 2 and 3 it follows that the proposed modes of production of plate products (options No. 2-4) provide an increase in the complex of mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of plate products.
In cases of transcendental values of the concentrations of chemical elements in steel, continuous casting of slabs, temperature-deformation modes of hot rolling, quenching and high tempering (options No. 1 and No. 5), as well as the use of the prototype method (option No. 6), a decrease in the complex mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of S finished thick sheets.
The technical and economic advantages of the proposed method consist in the fact that the simultaneous optimization of the chemical composition of chromium manganese steel, the conditions for its continuous casting, hot rolling, as well as subsequent hardening and tempering, makes it possible to increase the complex of mechanical properties and the corrosion resistance of plate products.
