Abstract
Description
The invention relates to methods for cleaning dusty air with a high content of suspended particles and can find application in mechanical engineering, foundry, chemical and other industries.
A known method of purification of gases from dispersed particles, which consists in the tangential supply of dusty gas, purification of gas from dust due to the action of centrifugal forces, separation of gas from dust in the reversal zone of the purified gas, collecting flows of trapped dust in a dust collector (see Dust collection in metallurgy. Reference / V.M. Aleshina, A.Yu. Waldberg, G.M. Gordon and others. M .: Metallurgy, 1984, p. 48-52). The disadvantage of this method of purification of gases from dispersed particles is the low efficiency of the dust collection process.
There is also known a method of purification of gases from dispersed particles, including introducing into the dust collector with an upper axial nozzle of the gas to be cleaned, translational movement of the dust and gas stream being cleaned from top to bottom, supplying a humidified auxiliary gas stream with a coagulant introduced into it, turning the purified stream up, collecting the trapped stream dust in the dust outlet hopper (see Patent No. 2091175, Russia, IPC 6 В04С 5/18, 1997).
The disadvantage of this method is the need to use a coagulant, which complicates the implementation of the method. In addition, the moistening of dust streams with a coagulating stream in the reversal zone leads to caking of the dust-liquid mixture in a stationary (static) state and the formation of a dense mass in the dust outlet hopper, which makes it difficult to unload the collected dust.
The technical result of the claimed invention is to eliminate these disadvantages, simplifying the method and increasing the efficiency of dust collection.
The technical result is achieved due to the fact that in the method of purifying gas from dispersed particles, including introducing into the flue of the dust collector a cleaned dust and gas stream, moving it along the flue into the rotary chamber, supplying an auxiliary stream, deposition of dispersed particles from the dust and gas stream under the action of inertial and gravitational forces, their collection in the dust hopper and the turn of the cleaned stream up, according to the claimed invention, the auxiliary stream is a stream of atmospheric air supplied to the rotary chamber ru in the direction transverse to the dust and gas stream, and crossing the latter in the rotary chamber at a speed exceeding the feed rate of the dust and gas stream.
The flow rate of atmospheric air at the entrance to the rotary chamber is 1-5 m / s higher than the velocity of the intersected dust and gas flow.
The invention is illustrated in the drawing, which schematically shows a device for implementing this method.
5.The device comprises an inlet gas duct 1 for a cleaned dust and gas stream, an outlet air channel 2 for a cleaned stream, an air channel 3 for atmospheric air flow, a rotary chamber 4, a dust outlet 5.
The method is as follows.
The cleaned dust and gas stream through the inlet duct 1 is fed into the pivot zone — the rotary chamber 4. Into the same rotary chamber through the air channel 3, a stream of atmospheric air is supplied in a direction transverse to the direction of supply of the dust and gas stream at a speed exceeding the feed rate of the latter.
2.When the dust and gas stream crosses in the rotary chamber 4 by the atmospheric air flow supplied through the air channel 3 with a speed higher than the dust and gas stream velocity, the cleaned dust and gas stream is decelerated and suspended dust particles fall under the influence of gravitational forces into the dust hopper 5. The purified air is sucked out by the exhaust fan with a turn of the purified flow up to the output air channel 2.
According to experimental studies, it is optimal to exceed the atmospheric air feed rate by 1-5 m / s compared to the feed rate of the cleaned dust and gas stream into the rotary chamber. The higher the content of suspended particles in a dusty stream, the greater the excess rate of the supply of atmospheric air from the specified range should be selected.
If at the entrance to the rotary chamber the excess of the atmospheric air flow rate compared to the dust and gas flow rate is less than 1 m / s, the dust collection efficiency drops sharply, and when it exceeds more than 5 m / s, increased turbulence of intersecting flows occurs, which also negatively affects on dust cleaning efficiency.
ПримерExample
A dusty gas containing fine particles of iron powder of less than 50 microns was cleaned. Dust and gas flow entered the rotary chamber through the inlet duct 1 in an amount of 300 m 3 / h at a speed of 20 m / s. The atmospheric air flow entered the rotary chamber in the direction transverse to the dust and gas stream at a speed of 23 m / s. The intersection in the rotary chamber of the flow of atmospheric air with the dust and gas flow causes the inhibition of the latter and the deposition of suspended particles under the action of inertial and gravitational forces in the dust outlet hopper. The purified gas due to the smoke exhauster installed at the outlet of the air channel for purified air, makes a turn up and enters the air outlet through the air channel. The analysis of the outgoing gas showed a high degree of gas purification from dispersed particles, provided by the claimed method.
The inventive dry method of purification of gas from dispersed particles allows us to simplify the technology of dust collection, increase its efficiency in a wide temperature range and successfully solve environmental problems of environmental protection.
