Abstract
Description
The invention relates to nanotechnology and the chemical industry and can be used in the production of copper oxide nanopowders, which can be used in the manufacture of catalysts, sorbents, for fillers of composite materials, in medicine and other fields.
Most methods known in the art for obtaining the required dispersion of copper oxide nanopowders include grinding a copper oxide cake obtained by removing water from copper hydroxide synthesized from mineral salts of copper, treating with aqueous alkali solutions or ammonia-carbonate complexes. The methods require the use of high-performance special mills and high energy consumption both at the grinding stage and at the stage of removing water from copper hydroxide.
The prior art method for producing nanoparticles of metal oxide, in particular copper oxide, according to the patent of the Russian Federation No. 2384522 (date publ. 20.03.2010), including processing the initial salt of copper.
The known method involves conducting the process at a high temperature of 500-900 ° C in a stream of water vapor, which requires complex hardware design, energy-consuming and, accordingly, economically unattractive when using the method on an industrial scale. The known method requires the continuous removal of the resulting gaseous oxide for safety reasons, and this must be done as soon as possible, because speed affects the structure of the final product and, as a consequence, its quality.
The prior art known for the prototype is a new method for large-scale production of monodisperse nanoparticles according to the patent of the Russian Federation No. 2375153 (publ. 10.12.2009), in which copper oxide is obtained from a copper salt using a solvent.
The disadvantages of this method are the multi-stage process, the need to use the vacuum drying method and a large range of reagents, the high temperature of the reaction of a solution of a copper carboxylate complex with a second solvent, which reduces the manufacturability of the method and complicates its hardware design, the impossibility of obtaining a pure target product due to the use of carboxylic acids , upon decomposition of which copper oxide and the residue of carboxylic acids are obtained, there is always uyuschy when implementing the known method, since the removal of impurities, the method does not provide. Nanomaterial is a good sorbent agent and carboxylic acid residues settle on its particles, which reduces the quality of the target product and, accordingly, the effectiveness of this method. The particles of the described products obtained in a known manner (iron oxide, manganese oxide, cobalt oxide, manganese ferrite, cobalt ferrite, zinc oxide, cerium oxide) can have a size of 5 and 22 nm, depending on the second solvent used. There is every reasonable reason to believe that the resulting nanoparticles, namely copper oxide, do not have this size, because there is no specific example of obtaining copper oxide, which did not fall into the best embodiments of the invention, in addition, in the summary table, as well as in the description text, there is no information about the size of the obtained particles of copper oxide.
The objective of the invention is the creation of an effective, technologically advanced and environmentally friendly method for producing nanosized particles of copper oxide of high purity, uniformity and dispersion that meet the high requirements of the nanotechnology industry, which minimizes the number of process steps, the temperature of the reactions, and prevents agglomeration of nanosized particles by creating conditions that exclude the possibility of the formation of solid-phase impurities and water.
The problem is solved by the proposed method for producing nanosized particles of copper oxide from a copper salt using a solvent. The peculiarity lies in the fact that the copper salt of N, N'-dinitromourea is taken as a copper salt, it is subjected to direct interaction with an organic solvent, which is used dimetisulfoxide or dimethylformamide, the resulting solution is heated at a temperature of 110-150 ° C for 1- 6 h, copper oxide powder is isolated from the formed suspension.
The prior art does not know the technical solution to the problem in which the proposed combination of features would take place.
Comparative analysis shows that the claimed method differs from the prototype:
- использованием иной исходной соли меди - медная соль N,N'-динитромочевины (в прототипе - карбоксилатный комплекс, полученный из ацетилацетоната меди). Медная соль N,N'-динитромочевины является доступным и описанным химическим реагентом и получается взаимодействием динитромочевины с малахитом (СuСО3·Cu(ОН)2) (Журн. орг. химии 2002. Т.38. вып.12. С.1793-1799). N,N'-динитромочевину получают в одну стадию из доступного, дешевого и отечественного сырья мочевины (Журн. орг. химии 2000. Т.36. вып.2. С.188-191);- using a different initial copper salt, the copper salt of N, N'-dinitromourea (in the prototype, a carboxylate complex obtained from copper acetylacetonate). The copper salt of N, N'-dinitromourea is an available and described chemical reagent and is obtained by the interaction of dinitrourea with malachite (CuCO 3 · Cu (OH) 2 ) (Journal of Organ. Chemistry 2002. V.38. Issue 12. P.1793- 1799). N, N'-dinitromourea is obtained in one step from available, cheap and domestic raw materials of urea (Journal of Organ. Chemistry 2000. V.36. Issue 2. P.188-191);
- иной более низкой температурой проведения реакции - ниже температуры кипения растворителя (в прототипе - температура между 200°С и температурой кипения растворителя).- another lower reaction temperature is lower than the boiling point of the solvent (in the prototype, the temperature is between 200 ° C and the boiling point of the solvent).
The advantages of the proposed method over the prototype:
Так, по уравнению реакции:- obtaining high purity copper oxide, the absence of any impurities in the target product. So, according to the reaction equation:
Cu(O2NNCONNO2)=CuO↓+2N2O↑+CO2↑,Cu (O 2 NNCONNO 2 ) = CuO ↓ + 2N 2 O ↑ + CO 2 ↑,
получают инертные побочные продукты (газы): углекислый газ и закись азота (в прототипе - после проведения реакции растворитель содержит кислотные остатки карбоновых кислот, которые могут сорбироваться на высокоразвитой поверхности нанопорошков):receive inert by-products (gases): carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide (in the prototype, after the reaction, the solvent contains acid residues of carboxylic acids that can be sorbed on the highly developed surface of nanopowders):
Cu(C17H35COO)2=CuO↓+(C17H35CO)2O;Cu (C 17 H 35 COO) 2 = CuO ↓ + (C 17 H 35 CO) 2 O;
- возможностью возврата растворителя в процесс без дополнительной обработки, так как побочные продукты (газы) удаляются из растворителя в процессе образования оксида меди при высоких температурах при проведении процесса термосольволиза медной соли N,N'-динитромочевины (в прототипе растворители после проведения процесса термодеструкции содержат кислотные остатки жирных карбоновых кислот, а также остатки продуктов их димеризации и тримеризации (реакция протекает при высоких температурах (свыше 200°С), которые предварительно нужно удалять из растворителя);- the ability to return the solvent to the process without additional processing, since by-products (gases) are removed from the solvent during the formation of copper oxide at high temperatures during the process of thermosolvolysis of the copper salt of N, N'-dinitromourea (in the prototype, the solvents after the thermal decomposition process contain acid residues of fatty carboxylic acids, as well as residues of the products of their dimerization and trimerization (the reaction proceeds at high temperatures (above 200 ° C), which must first be removed of solvent);
- экологией способа, так как образовавшиеся газы можно уловить, разделить и использовать по назначению (в прототипе растворители после проведения процесса термодеструкции содержат кислотные остатки, а также остатки продуктов димеризации и тримеризации жирных карбоновых кислот, которые требуют разработки дополнительных мероприятий по их утилизации);- ecology of the method, since the resulting gases can be trapped, separated and used for their intended purpose (in the prototype, the solvents after the thermal decomposition process contain acid residues, as well as residues of the products of dimerization and trimerization of fatty carboxylic acids, which require the development of additional measures for their disposal);
В наилучшем варианте осуществления изобретения, согласно прототипу, получают оксид железа дисперсностью 5-20 нм).- a narrow interval of dispersion of 1.91-3.50 nm (in the prototype data for copper oxide are not available. In the best embodiment of the invention, according to the prototype, iron oxide with a dispersity of 5-20 nm is obtained).
The choice of the temperature range for thermosolvolysis in the inventive method 110-150 ° C is justified by the fact that when the process is carried out at temperatures above 150 ° C, the particles are enlarged by the formation of conglomerates, and at less than 110 ° C additional time is required to complete the reaction.
The time interval of 1-6 hours is due to the fact that when the heating is performed for less than 1 hour, the reaction does not proceed, and an increase in the heating time over 6 hours is impractical, because 100% yield has already been achieved.
Information confirming the possibility of implementing the proposed method is illustrated by the following examples.
