Abstract
Description
Usage: to convert wind energy into electrical energy for industrial and domestic consumers in almost all weather and climate conditions and geographical zones.
The essence of the technical solution lies in the fact that the turbine and the generator of the wind turbine, which intersect at the right angle of rotation axis, are located on opposite sides of the mast structure of the installation, the transmission of rotational motion from the turbine shaft is carried out by an end transducer, one of the leading elements of which interacts with the driven element of the rotor, and the second with the driven element of the counter-rotor. The counter-rotation of the rotor and the counter-rotor is ensured by the diametrically opposite placement of the leading elements of the end transducer on the turbine shaft relative to the common axis of rotation of the said electromagnetic organs of the generator, which, independently of the turbine nacelle, is mounted on the mast support of the wind turbine with the aid of a bracket and a movable sleeve and, in doing so, has the possibility of vertical movement, which allows, if necessary, to disengage the drive wheels of the turbine shaft and the driven wheels of both the rotor and and counter-rotor.
Изобретение относится в ветроэнергетическим установкам (ВЭУ), предназначенным для работы в широком диапазоне скоростей ветра, начиная со слабых значений от 4,0 м/с, и обеспечивающим возможность для сохранности генератора в заданных условиях сильного шторма (от 24,5 м/с) или урагана (от 32,6 м/с).The invention relates to wind power plants (wind turbines), designed to operate in a wide range of wind speeds, starting from weak values from 4.0 m / s, and providing the opportunity for generator safety under given conditions of a strong storm (from 24.5 m / s) or hurricane (from 32.6 m / s).
Most known counter-rotor wind turbines (US patent No. 4213057, class 290-44; SU patents No. 1333821, 1787205, 1402706 and others, class F03D 1/02) are based on the operation of two turbines located one after another or one in another rotating in opposite directions and connected to the rotor and counter-rotor by mechanical bonds of various types. In this case, the uneven rotation of the turbines (wind wheels) due to the unstable nature of real air flows in the atmosphere is aggravated by secondary interference from counter rotation of the aerodynamic components of the structure, which ultimately leads to a low quality of electricity generated by wind turbines.
Действующие по тому же техническому принципу однотурбинные контрроторные установки или ненадежны из-за применения непрочных, недолговечных и подверженных деформациям гибких связей между турбиной и электромагнитными элементами генератора (коаксиальный вариант конструкции) или использования в тех же целях сложных мультипликаторных узлов (соосный вариант конструкции).Single-turbine counter-rotor units operating on the same technical principle are either unreliable due to the use of fragile, short-lived and subject to deformation flexible connections between the turbine and electromagnetic elements of the generator (coaxial version of the design) or the use of complex multiplier units (coaxial version of the design) for the same purpose.
In addition, in order to avoid unacceptable contact, the turbine cantilever, on a significant shoulder, is carried away from the support mast of the wind turbine, which creates an undesirable bending moment under its weight, affecting the mast-mast structure as a whole, creates prerequisites for jamming of the rotary assembly and destruction of the mast foundation .
Due to the need to optimize the working conditions of wind turbines, their turbine nacelles are placed at the highest possible height from the ground. This circumstance, as well as the combination of a turbine and a generator in a single nacelle case, seriously complicates maintenance and other operational activities. Exceeding the atmospheric currents by the nominal wind speed, for example, when passing to a strong storm (from 24.5 m / s), and then a hurricane ( from 32.6 m / s), the turbine rotation speed reaches a critical value. If at the same time the turbine has an inextricable connection with the generator, then the last most responsible and valuable wind turbine mechanism is primarily destroyed.
As a prototype of a different kind, a wind turbine should be mentioned (patent RU No. 2372519, class F03D 1/02), in which an aerodynamic drive consisting of two installed and counter-rotating turbines, one after the other, is raised to a height in a nacelle of a complex configuration, separated from a generator, placed in turn along the axis of the support mast, on its foundation or so. The axis of rotation of the turbines and the generator rotor are located at right angles. The combination of turbines and the generator is carried out by means of a conical multiplier and a shaft passing to the rotor through the entire length of the support-mast structure of the wind turbine. The disadvantages of the installation is its inoperability at low wind speeds in view of the stationary structure of the induction winding of the generator (stator); underestimated power of the unit due to the narrowing of the guide body of the turbine nacelle towards the wind; the lengthiness of the twisting rotor shaft, which makes it the weakest, most unreliable element of the device; the vulnerability of the generator nodes at excess speed of rotation of the turbines that occur during severe storms and hurricanes. The conical multiplier transmits rotation only on one axis and is unacceptable in the counter-rotor design of the generator.
The aim of the invention is to ensure, while maintaining the advantages of a single-turbine drive and counter-rotor design of the generator, greater stability and reliability of the wind turbine, conditions for safe operation and more convenient maintenance.
The goals are achieved in that the turbine of the wind turbine, horizontally and cantileverly positioned relative to the rotary axis of the mast mast design, is balanced by the principle of a “rocker arm” by a generator, vertically and independently mounted using an arm with a predetermined departure shoulder on the same support, but in diametrical the opposite direction. This technical solution is especially relevant when the diameter of the turbine reaches 100 meters or more, and its weight is measured in tons (industrial model E-112 from Enorcom GmbH). Other than the position of the rotating turbine and the moving electromagnetic components of the device that intersects at right angles, this will entail a complication, and consequently, a decrease in the reliability of the mechanical transmission unit of rotation from the aerodynamic drive to the generator. At a minimum, subject to counter-rotation of the rotor and the counter-rotor, an intermediate element will be required on one of the connections of the turbine shaft with one of the rotating working bodies of the generator. The counter-rotation of the rotor and the counter-rotor is ensured not by the presence of two turbines, creating aerodynamic interference for each other, unstable and quickly wearing out flexible connections or complex unreliable mechanisms for converting the rotation of the turbines into oppositely directed rotational movements of the rotor and the counter-rotor, but by a simple diametrically opposite position of the leading mechanical end-face elements gears mounted on the turbine shaft on opposite sides of the common axis of symmetry of the generator and circular trajectories of its rotor and counter-rotor. In necessary cases (excessive wind speeds and other emergency situations, repair and restoration work), independent mounting to the support mast of the turbine nacelle and generator allows you to easily lower the generator along the mast manually and using the appropriate mechanism and disengage the driving and driven elements end transmission, thereby protecting against destruction the most responsible and valuable generator units of the wind turbine.
The drawing shows a structural diagram of the proposed counter-rotor wind turbine.
15.The counter-rotor wind turbine comprises a mast mast structure 1 with a rotary assembly 2 and a gondola 3 mounted on top, in which a horizontal shaft 4 is placed with a rotating turbine 5 mounted on one of its ends protruding beyond the dimensions of the nacelle. Below on the same vertical mast using an arm 6 equipped with a sleeve 7 having the ability to move along the mast, in a coaxial position relative to the indicated support, a generator 8 is suspended, comprising a rotor 9 and a counter-rotor 10 rotating in opposite directions. the anic end-face transmission (conversion) of the rotational movement of the turbine shaft into counter-coaxial rotation of the rotor and the counter-rotor consists of leading elements 11 and 12, diametrically spaced on opposite sides of the common axis of rotation of the working electromagnetic organs of the generator, as well as of the corresponding driven elements 13 and 14, related to the rotor and counter-rotor, respectively. The turbine shaft, the rotor and the counter-rotor rotate in the bearing bearings 15.
The counter-rotor wind turbine operates as follows. Under the pressure of atmospheric flows, the turbine 5 comes into rotational motion, which through the horizontal shaft 4, its driving elements 11 and 12 is converted by their end mating with the driven elements 13 and 14 into oppositely directed rotations of the rotor 9 and counterrotor 10. When the winds reach the speeds as critical for the integrity of the priority components of the generator 8, this unit of the wind turbine is disconnected from the nacelle 3 and by moving along the vertical support mast 1 of the sleeve 7 is lowered s in the direction to the base unit. In this case, the interacting pairs 11 and 13, 12 and 14 of the mechanical end-gear (conversion) of the rotational movement of the turbine 5 into the counter-rotation of the rotor 9 and the counter-rotor 10 are disengaged. After the wind speed returns to the nominal value, the generator 8 rises up to the full working interface of the paired elements 11 and 13, 12 and 14 and is connected to the nacelle 3. The wind turbine resumes operation in an optimal and safe mode. The same vertical movement of the generator 8 down is carried out when it is necessary to repair and otherwise service the equipment, which provides ease of penetration to the mechanisms, and also allows you to work with the generator 8 separately from the turbine unit 5, and vice versa.
