Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the fertilizer industry, in particular to the production of complex fertilizers based on the nitric acid decomposition of poor phosphorites.
The task of involving poor phosphorites with a P 2 O 5 content of 20 ÷ 25% in processing into mineral fertilizers is becoming more and more urgent every year due to the depletion of resources for the production of apatite concentrate, which until recently has been the main source of phosphate raw materials in Russia.
It is known to use Yegoryevsk, Upper Kama phosphorites in the form of phosphate rock as phosphate fertilizers. These fertilizers are ineffective and can only be used on acidic soils.
Methods are proposed for involving poor phosphorites in the production of phosphate and complex fertilizers, involving the partial replacement of apatite concentrate [Malyavin A.S. et al. Study of the process of obtaining skilled complex fertilizers using Verkhnekamsk phosphorite flour // Chem. prom Today. 2005. No. 10, p. 7-14; "The relevance and practical steps to involve low-grade phosphate raw materials in the processing of complex fertilizers // Chemical industry today. 2006. No. 11, pp. 11-18; Pat. RF No. 2223933, IPC 7 С05В 11/06, publ. 20.02 .2004; Pat. Of the Russian Federation No. 2234485, IPC 7 С05В 11/06, C05G 1/06, published on 08/20/2004; Pat. RF No. 2286320, IPC 7 С05В 11/06, publ. 10/27/2006). The disadvantage of all of these the above methods is a low degree of apatite replacement and a deterioration in the quality of the resulting fertilizer.
A known method of producing complex mineral fertilizers, which involves obtaining a nitric acid solution of poor phosphorites by decomposing them with nitric acid, diluting the suspension with water in an amount of 0.5 ÷ 2.5 volume per 1 volume of suspension, settling and evaporation of the introduced water. Thus obtained nitric acid solution is further processed into complex fertilizers by known methods [US Pat. RF №2154045, IPC 7 С05В 11/06, publ. 08/10/2000]. The disadvantage of this method is the need to dilute the suspension with water, followed by its evaporation under conditions of high corrosiveness of the medium and additional energy consumption for the evaporation process.
1978. с.151-216].The closest to the proposed technical essence and the achieved result is a method of producing a nitric acid solution of poor phosphorites, including their decomposition with nitric acid, taken in excess of stoichiometry in excess of calcium and magnesium compounds in phosphate raw materials, at a temperature of 40-60 ° C, followed by filtration of the resulting suspensions on filters under a pressure of 3.5 atm to separate the insoluble residue [M.N. Nabiev. Nitric acid phosphorite processing. T.1. Publishing House of the FAN of the Uzbek SSR, Tashkent. 1978. S. 151-216].
The disadvantage of this method is the low specific filtration rate: 0.046 m 3 / m 2 · h by filtrate. The reason for the low filterability, apparently, is due to the structure of the precipitate formed during the decomposition of phosphate raw materials.
The technical problem solved by the proposed method is to increase the specific filtration performance.
The stated technical problem is solved in that in the known method for producing a nitric acid solution of poor phosphate raw materials, including its decomposition with nitric acid, taken in excess of stoichiometry to calcium and magnesium compounds in phosphate raw materials, at a temperature of 40-60 ° C, filtering the resulting suspension on filters under pressure to separate the insoluble residue, according to the invention, the suspension is subjected to filtration, which is kept in the decomposition reactor for 3-5 hours.
The suspension is filtered at a pressure of 5-15 atm.
В качестве бедного фосфатного сырья используют измельченный фосфорит Каратау с содержанием P2O5, равным 24,6 мас.%.As a poor phosphate feedstock, crushed Karatau phosphorite with a P 2 O 5 content of 24.6 wt.% Is used.
As poor phosphate raw materials, crushed Verkhne-Kama phosphorite with a P 2 O 5 content of 21.0 wt.%, Preliminarily calcined at a temperature of 900-1000 ° C is used.
The consumption of nitric acid is maintained within 110-130% of the stoichiometry for compounds of calcium and magnesium in phosphate raw materials.
5 - 2,2.For the experiments, crushed phosphorite (average particle size 0.1 mm) was used in the Karatau deposit of the Zhanatas city, containing,% (mass and hereinafter%): CaO - 38.4; P 2 O 5 - 24.6; MgO - 1.4; Fe 2 O 3 - 1.37; Al 2 O 3 - 1.5; СО 2 - 4.6; F - 2.2, and nitric acid in the form of the so-called nitric acid solution (AKOR) obtained by washing crystals of calcium nitrate tetrahydrate with 58% nitric acid in the current production of complex mineral fertilizers using nitric acid technology and containing,%: NHO 3 - 39; CaO - 2.2; P 2 O 5 - 2.2.
In a reactor with a stirrer, 100 g of phosphorite and 292 g of AKOP were mixed (consumption of NHO 3 is 125% of stoichiometry in the amount of CaO + MgO). To prevent the release of nitrogen oxides, 0.2 g of urea was added to the reactor. The resulting suspension was kept under stirring at 50 ° C for 3 hours and filtered on a laboratory filter with a filter surface of 0.0017 m 2 at a pressure of 10 atm. Then the precipitate was washed on the filter under a pressure of 10 atm with water taken in an amount of 45 g.
The duration of the filtration was, min:
When filtering and washing obtained:
The specific filtration rate, taking into account the washing time, is 0.29 m 3 / m 2 · h according to the filtrate.
The composition of the obtained products,%:
The yield of P 2 O 5 in the filtrate and wash solution was 98.5% of that taken in phosphorite.
The filtrate is a production nitric acid solution that is sent for subsequent processing into complex fertilizers by known methods: crystallization and separation of calcium nitrate tetrahydrate, ammonization, adjustment of the N: P 2 O 5 ratio in the ammoniated solution, evaporation, mixing, if necessary, with potassium chloride, granulation and drying.
The washing solution may be returned to the head of the technological process at the stage of phosphorite decomposition with nitric acid or attached to the main filtrate.
A series of experiments similar to that of Example 1 was carried out, in which the exposure time of the suspension was changed within 1-6 hours, and the temperature was in the range 40-60 ° C.
The value of the specific filtration rate, depending on the duration of exposure of the suspension in the reactor, was:
The temperature change during decomposition in the range of 40-60 ° C does not have a noticeable effect on the filterability of the suspension.
A series of experiments was carried out similar to Example 1, in which the pressure during filtration was varied within 3-15 atm, and the nitric acid consumption was within 105-140% of stoichiometry for the sum of calcium and magnesium compounds in phosphorite.
The values of the specific filtration performance by filtrate are presented in the table.
Опыты проводят с измельченным Верхне-Камским фосфоритом (так называемой фосфоритной мукой), содержащим, %: СаО - 36,0; P2O5 - 21,0; MgO - 0,8; Fe2O3 - 5,9; Al2O3 - 2,8; CO2 - 8,1; F - 1,6.The experiments are carried out with crushed Verkhne-Kama phosphorite (the so-called phosphate rock), containing,%: CaO - 36.0; P 2 O 5 - 21.0; MgO - 0.8; Fe 2 O 3 - 5.9; Al 2 O 3 - 2.8; CO 2 8.1; F - 1.6.
Before decomposition, phosphorite is preliminarily calcined at a temperature of 950 ° C.
The consumption of nitric acid in the form of AKOR is maintained equal to 120% of stoichiometry for the sum of calcium and magnesium oxides, the suspension is kept in the decomposition reactor for 3 hours, and the filtration pressure is 10 ati.
The specific filtration rate was 0.4 m 3 / m 2 · h.
The data presented prove that the claimed method provides a solution to the technical problem - an increase in the specific productivity of filtering the suspension formed during the decomposition of poor phosphate feedstock with nitric acid.
The positive effect, apparently, is associated with the fact that when the suspension is kept in the decomposition reactor for 3-5 hours, structural transformations of some of the components that make up the insoluble residue occur, providing an improvement in the filterability of the precipitate.
A holding time of less than 3 hours does not provide the required completeness of conversion and, accordingly, a noticeable improvement in filterability, an increase in the exposure time of more than 5 hours, leads to a decrease in the specific filtration performance.
Specific filtration performance increases with increasing pressure during filtration. The optimal pressure range is 5-15 ati. With less pressure, the efficiency of the method decreases, a pressure of 15 ati is the limit for the current level of filtering technology.
The optimal range of nitric acid consumption is 110-130% of stoichiometry for the sum of calcium and magnesium oxides in phosphorite. The specified range at the same time provides optimal conditions for positive structural transformations in the insoluble residue during the exposure of the suspension in the decomposition reactor and a high yield of P 2 O 5 in the production nitric acid solution. A decrease in consumption of less than 110% of stoichiometry leads to a decrease in the yield of P 2 O 5 , and an increase in consumption of more than 130% is impractical, since it does not lead to an additional effect.
