Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the processing of metals by pressure, in particular to methods of stamping blanks, mainly of the type of blades, from nanostructured titanium alloys and can be used in the aviation industry.
с. 1995.08.27).A known method of producing turbomachine blades from two-phase titanium alloys, including heating the billet with high-frequency currents and its deformation by high-speed stamping, as well as heat treatment, consisting of high-temperature and low-temperature annealing (A.S. USSR 1555955, B21J 5/00, C22F 1 / 18, B21K 3/04, publ. 1995.08.27).
1994.09.15).A known method of manufacturing vanes of titanium alloys, including casting billets consisting of a lock part and a part under the feather, heating the cast billets to a temperature of 10-30 ° C below the temperature of the polymorphic transformation of the alloy, deformation under isothermal conditions in one transition (RF patent 2019359, B21K 3/04, publ. 1994.09.15).
In these methods, a necessary condition for the technological plasticity of titanium alloys in the process of forming the billet is to heat them under stamping to a temperature of complete polymorphic transformation of the alloy or 10-30 ° C lower. This is due to the fact that either the molded shaped billet [RF patent 2019359] or an ordinary hot-rolled bar [a.s. USSR 1555955], which have technological plasticity at temperatures above 900 ° C. As a result of subsequent stamping at the same temperature under isothermal conditions, a globular structure is formed in the product, which provides a good combination of strength and ductility, however, this method does not allow obtaining the strength of stampings from titanium alloys above 1300 MPa.
20.06.06).The closest in technical essence and the achieved results is a method of producing a product with a fine-grained structure, including intensive plastic deformation of the workpiece in the given thermomechanical conditions, and before introducing the workpiece into the zone of intense plastic deformation, a stress-strain state of comprehensive compression is created in it through the action of the punch and backwater through the volume of powder material with which the cavity of the profiling tool is filled, and when creating an intense layer eskoy deformation carried rotation instrument or its parts (RF Patent 2277992, B21j 5/00, publ. 20.06.06).
This method also does not allow to achieve a high level of mechanical properties in stamping. In addition, it is labor intensive.
R.Z.Valiev, R.K.Islamgaliev, I.P.Semenova, Superplasticity in nanostructured materials: New challenges, Mater. Sci.Eng. A, Vol. 463 (2007), pp.2-7]. It is known that titanium alloys with ultrafine-grained (UFG) structure, obtained by the methods of intensive plastic deformation (IPD), along with increased strength and fatigue properties at room temperature exhibit superplastic properties at temperatures lower than 200 ... 300 ° C of the polymorphic transformation temperature [O.A .Kaibyshev, Superplasticity of industrial alloys, - M .: Metallurgy, 1984, 263 p .; R.Z. Valiev, R.K. Islamgaliev, I.P. Semenova, Superplasticity in nanostructured materials: New challenges, Mater. Sci.Eng. A, Vol. 463 (2007), pp. 2-7]. This property of UFG materials makes it possible to carry out shaping operations at lower temperatures than for conventional alloys.
The objective of the invention is to increase the strength and fatigue properties of the product, as well as reducing the energy intensity and cost of the process.
The specified technical result is achieved by the method of stamping nanostructured preforms of titanium alloys obtained by the method of intensive plastic deformation, which, unlike the prototype, includes pre-stamping of the preform and its final stamping, which is carried out with heating for each stamping of a pre-coated glass-lubricated preform to a temperature below the start temperature polymorphic transformation of nanostructured titanium alloy and cooling of the workpiece after preliminary stamping d temperature 15-30 ° C.
The proposed method allows to obtain a higher level of mechanical and fatigue properties of blades made of titanium two-phase alloys, and lowering the stamping temperature also allows the use of less heat-resistant materials for tooling and reduce energy costs.
A nanostructured cylindrical billet is preliminarily obtained by the method of intense plastic deformation.
Heating the workpiece for each stamping to a temperature in the range of 650-850 ° C is due to the need to preserve the alloy nanostructure. The cooling of the workpiece after preliminary stamping is due to the need for re-coating with glass grease to achieve satisfactory resistance of the dies.
An example of a specific implementation of the method
The implementation of the method is considered as an example of a straightening blade of the fourth stage of a compressor of a gas turbine engine made of VT6 nanostructured alloy. The nanostructured billet with a diameter of 23 mm and a length of 135 mm is covered with a suspension of glass lubricant, heated to a temperature of 650 ° C. Then carry out preliminary stamping. After preliminary stamping, the workpiece is cooled to a temperature of 20 ° C, cleaned from the remains of glass enamel, and again coated with a suspension of glass lubricant. Final stamping is carried out with heating up to 650 ° C.
Thermocycling with heating to a temperature below the temperature of the polymorphic transformation and multiple coating with a glass lubricant of a nanostructured billet makes it possible to obtain optimum macro- and microstructure in stamping with a high complex of physicomechanical properties with satisfactory die life.
As can be seen from the table, the tensile strength σ in increases, the conditional yield stress σ 0.2 and the relative narrowing ψ. The elongation δ decreases due to hardening.
