Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the refractory industry, can be used for the manufacture of high-temperature materials with reduced thermal conductivity, in particular in the production of a mixture to obtain a porous refractory refractory material based on zircon.
It is known to use composite materials containing hollow microspheres to provide porosity. By A.S. No. 1169311, С04В 35/58, 1999 proposed a porous composite material based on zirconium boride containing hollow alumina microspheres. This composite material has thermal conductivity and strength, not allowing it to be used as a refractory material.
A known mixture for producing a porous refractory material according to the patent of the Russian Federation for invention No. 2030369, С04В 38/08, 1995, including hollow corundum microspheres, alumina and niobium oxide. The disadvantage is the high thermal conductivity of the resulting material.
Known sintered material based on zirconium dioxide according to the patent of the Russian Federation for invention No. 2201906, С04В 35/484, 2003. This refractory material is obtained from a mixture containing from 5 to 40% zirconium, the composition of the material includes oxides of hafnium, silicon, titanium, yttrium, aluminum. However, to create a refractory, refractory material, it is necessary to have a lower thermal conductivity coefficient compared to this sintered material.
As the closest analogue to the claimed technical solution, plasma spheroidized ceramic powder was selected according to the patent of the Russian Federation for invention No. 2299926, С23С 4/10, 2007, from chemically uniform stabilized zirconia in a tetragonal crystalline phase. Zirconia has the form of spherical particles smaller than 200 microns in size. The disadvantage is that the whole powder consists of spherical hollow particles, which causes its increased porosity and, as a consequence, a decrease in strength. In addition, the presence of monoclinic zirconia in the powder can lead to the destruction of the material made from the powder during its operation.
The technical task of the invention is to reduce thermal conductivity while ensuring sufficient strength of the refractory material obtained from the mixture.
Технический результат достигается за счет того, что в шихте для получения огнеупорного материала с пониженной теплопроводностью, содержащей порошок циркона и полые микросферы, согласно изобретению полые микросферы размером 100-140 мкм изготовлены из диоксида циркония, стабилизированного иттрием, соотношение компонентов шихты следующее, мас.%:The technical result is achieved due to the fact that in the mixture to obtain a refractory material with reduced thermal conductivity containing zircon powder and hollow microspheres, according to the invention, hollow microspheres 100-140 μm in size are made of yttrium stabilized zirconia, the ratio of the components of the charge is as follows, wt.% :
The technical result is provided by using zirconia as a material for microspheres, due to its low coefficient of thermal conductivity λ = 2-3 W / m · K. The stabilization of zirconia with yttrium is necessary to increase the strength of the material obtained from the mixture. This is caused by polymorphism of zirconium dioxide and allows you to prevent the transition of its state from one phase to another, causing internal stress and destruction of the material. The use of microspheres with internal closed cavities provides additional porosity of the material, causing a decrease in thermal conductivity. The use of microspheres within 5-30 wt.% Of the composition of the mixture is optimal to reduce thermal conductivity and provide the necessary strength, because when microspheres are introduced into the charge in an amount of less than 5 wt.%, it is difficult to ensure their uniform distribution in the matrix, which affects the instability of the characteristics of the obtained material. The introduction of microspheres in an amount of more than 30 wt.% Significantly affects the reduction of the strength characteristics of the material. The use of microspheres with a size of 100-140 microns also reduces thermal conductivity while maintaining sufficient strength. Microstructural analysis of the fraction of microspheres with a size of less than 100 microns revealed that they are continuous inside. It is impractical to use them to increase porosity. In the material of microspheres larger than 140 μm, there is a monoclinic phase of zirconium dioxide, when heated, it passes sequentially into the tetragonal and cubic phases, and upon cooling, into the reverse monoclinic modification. The transition of the material from one form of the crystal lattice to another is associated with its volumetric change, which leads to a loss of strength and its destruction.
Химический состав данного порошка следующий, мас.%:To prepare a mixture of refractory material with reduced thermal conductivity, ready-made zircon powder of the Zeta Zircon Superfine brand with a particle size of 5.1 μm and a specific surface of 5.4 m 2 / g is used. The chemical composition of this powder is as follows, wt.%:
Zircon powder is mixed with hollow microspheres of zirconia stabilized with yttrium, specific gravity 1.6 g / cm 3 , size 100-140 microns. Microspheres are introduced in an amount of 5-30 wt.% Of the composition of the charge. As a temporary binder and target additives in the prepared mixture add 4% aqueous solution of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) in an amount of 10% of the total mass of dry components of the mixture. The use of PVA as a temporary binder is traditionally for the technology for producing refractory materials. Preforms are pressed from the prepared mixture at a pressure of 80 MPa, which is then sintered at a temperature of 1600 ° C for 2 hours.
The dependence of the technical parameters of samples of the material obtained from this mixture on the number of introduced hollow microspheres of zirconium dioxide is given in the table.
With an increase in the content of hollow microspheres of zirconium oxide in the charge, the thermal conductivity of materials obtained on its basis decreases. The thermal conductivity of the material obtained from the mixture with a maximum content of 30% microspheres is 2.8 times lower compared to a material not containing these microspheres. The compressive strength of the same material with a 30% content of hollow zirconia microspheres is 2.3 times higher than the compressive strength index of refractories used in glass melting furnaces regulated by GOST.
Thus, the claimed invention allows to reduce the thermal conductivity of the refractory material obtained from the mixture, while ensuring its high strength.
