Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of rocketry and relates to a method of booking and fastening a charge of ballistic fuel with a rocket engine housing.
Данные методы не пригодны для бронирования зарядов и одновременного скрепления их с корпусами ракетных двигателей, поскольку эти способы пригодны только для реализации процессов бронирования вкладных зарядов либо только по цилиндрической поверхности (методы обмотки и экструзии), либо по всей поверхности заряда, имеющего сложную конфигурацию (метод литья под давлением).Currently, methods for booking a charge are used such as extrusion - patent No. 2259919 dated January 21, 2004, winding - patent No. 2215723 dated January 11, 2002, injection molding using an injection molding machine - patent No. 2209135 dated October 18, 2001 These methods are not suitable for booking charges and simultaneously bonding them to rocket engine housings, since these methods are only suitable for implementing processes for booking embedded charges, either only on a cylindrical surface (winding and extrusion methods) or on the entire charge surface having its complex configuration (injection molding method).
In this regard, it is of interest to book charges using the free-fill method with a brief encyclopedic dictionary “Energy Condensed Systems” edited by B. P. Zhukov, M .: “Janus-K”, 2000, p. 263. But this method is not suitable for booking charges with casting acrylate armored compounds having a large polymerization shrinkage (10% or more), since the armor plating of these charges made in this way have numerous defects in the form of shells, air inclusions, thinning in the form of understating the thickness of the lateral armor plating, due to shrinkage phenomena.
A known method of booking checkers of solid propellant charge of a rocket engine according to patent No. 2261237, application. December 22, 2003 and op. September 27, 2005, IPC С06В 21/00, С06D 5/00, taken by us as a prototype.
According to this method, the mold with the charge installed in it is fixed radially on a rotating platform and then the armor is poured from the supply tank into the gap between the mold and the charge under the influence of the centrifugal force created by the rotation of the platform and directed along the gap.
After this, the polymerization of the armor is carried out at an elevated temperature and under the influence of centrifugal force. After polymerization of the armor plate, the molds are cooled, the reserved charges are pressed out of the mold and discarded. The disadvantages of this method are the need for a special booking form, operations for preparing it for use, the need to unpress the booked charge from the mold, sort it out, machining and fastening it to the rocket engine body.
The technical task of the invention is the development of a method of booking a charge of ballistic fuel by casting acrylate armored personnel with simultaneous fastening of one of its end faces with the rocket engine housing and with the armored surface attached to the housing relative to the housing, which can significantly reduce the complexity and time of manufacturing a rocket engine, improve quality and reliability his works.
The technical result is achieved due to the rotary-centrifugal method of booking a charge of ballistic fuel in the rocket engine housing by filling acrylate armored personnel.
The fastening of the charge with the housing along one of its ends is carried out in the process of booking the lateral surface of the charge, which is unfastened with the housing of the rocket engine. This eliminates the need for a special form and technological equipment for booking a charge, as well as the operation of preparing them for use, unpressing the booked charge from the mold, machining them and further bonding the charge to the rocket engine body. The carousel-centrifugal booking method allows you to simultaneously produce multiple booked charges from ballistic fuel with fastening them along one of the ends with the rocket engine housing.
The drawing shows the installation of a rotary-centrifugal reservation method: 1 - rocket engine housing, 2 - charge, 3 - fixing plate, 4 - carousel platform, 5 - dispenser, 6 - switchgear, 7 - groove, 8 - heating chamber.
The invention consists in the following: a charge (2) and a plate fixing it (3) are installed in the housing of a rocket engine (1). A case with a charge and a fixing plate is installed radially on the rotating platform of the carousel (4), and when booking several charges - radially with a uniform angular distance. The supply of armor from the dispenser (5) is made to the switchgear (6), from which, through the trough (7), located coaxially with the housing and having a semi-cylindrical or triangular profile, the filling acrylate armored personnel under the action of centrifugal force that occurs when the carousel platform rotates at a speed of 80 -150 rpm and directed along the gap through 3-12 evenly spaced holes in the locking plate, fills the gap between the housing and the charge. In this case, the diameter of the holes should be no more than the gap to exclude overflow of the armored personnel from the fixing plate. The polymerization of the filling acrylate armor is carried out by rotating the carousel platform for 1.5-2 hours at an air temperature in the heating chamber (8) of 75-80 ° С. Upon completion of the polymerization of the rocket engine casing with ballistic fuel charges reserved on the lateral surface, fastened to them at one of the ends and unfastened along the lateral surface, they are cooled and then removed from the carousel platform.
The limits of the temperature and polymerization time of casting acrylate armor, the speed of rotation of the carousel platform, the number of holes in the fixing plate were determined experimentally and are optimal for obtaining high-quality charges.
For experimental booking and fastening of the charge with the rocket engine body using the rotary-centrifugal method, rocket engine bodies, AS prototypes and full-scale products, D-10TM oligourethane acrylate-based acrylate body composition, methyl methacrylate, TGM-3 polyester with a curing system consisting of a curing system were used benzoyl peroxide, manganese acetylacetonate and dipyridyl.
The temperature and polymerization time of the casting acrylate armor, as well as the speed of rotation of the platform and the number of holes in the fixing plate, the diameter of which did not exceed the gap between the charge and the body at which the experimental reservation was carried out, are given in tables 1, 2, respectively, indicating the quality of the charges made defined visually after their demilitarization.
A further increase in the polymerization time at a temperature of 70-74 ° C, and also for 3 hours at a temperature of 75-80 ° C, is impractical, since the time of manufacture of charges and energy consumption increases. The process of polymerization of casting acrylate armor at a temperature above 80 ° C reduces the thermal stability of the special charge product.
High-quality armor plating and bonding of the charge with the rocket engine body is obtained by polymerization for 1.5-2 hours at a temperature of 75-80 ° C.
Armor plating
continuous without gaps.
From table 2 it can be seen that the continuity of the armor coating on the products is ensured by rotating the carousel platform at a speed of 80-150 rpm and in the presence of 3 to 12 holes in the fixing plate. At the same time, a visual inspection of the AS prototypes and full-scale products showed that the armor plating is of satisfactory quality, has no shells, air inclusions and other types of defects, the end face of the armored charge is firmly bonded to the end face of the rocket engine and unfastened along the side surface.
The manufacture of a fixing plate with a number of holes of more than 12 is impractical, and an increase in the rotation speed of the platform will increase energy costs and increase the risk of production.
A rotary-centrifugal method was used to produce an experimental batch of booked charges from ballistic fuel with their fastening along one of the ends with the body of the rocket engine of the AS product at the FSUE NIIPM experimental chemical plant.
3.Production modes are given in table 3.
Thus, full-scale rotary-centrifugal method produced full-scale products “AS” using casting acrylate armored personnel according to the established modes - polymerization time (rotation of the carousel platform) 1.5-2 hours, air temperature in the heating chamber 75-80 ° C, rotation speed carousel platforms 80-150 rpm, with plates with a number of holes from 3 to 12, the diameter of which did not exceed the gap between the charge and the body.
Directly during the booking process, the charges of one of the ends were fastened to the rocket engine bodies with the same casting acrylate composition. After booking and bonding charges with the buildings, the latter were cooled and discharged to assess the quality of the reservation and bonding. A visual inspection of the manufactured products showed that the armor plating is of satisfactory quality, has no shells, air inclusions and other types of defects, the end face of the armored charge is firmly bonded to the end face of the rocket engine body and unfastened with it along the side armored surface.
Thus, the manufacture of rocket engines according to the proposed method allows you to:
- осуществлять скрепление заряда по одному из торцов с корпусом ракетного двигателя в процессе бронирования и раскрепление по боковой поверхности относительно корпуса;- carry out the fastening of the charge along one of the ends with the housing of the rocket engine during the booking process and the fastening along the side surface relative to the housing;
- многократно сократить трудоемкость и время изготовления ракетного двигателя, повысить качество и надежность его работы.- many times to reduce the complexity and time of manufacturing a rocket engine, to improve the quality and reliability of its operation.
The proposed method is implemented with positive results in the manufacture of rocket engines of anti-hail rockets "AS" in the conditions of the experimental chemical plant FSUE "NIIPM".
