Preferably, the installation contains a water filtration system.
The claimed installation is illustrated by the drawing, which shows a block diagram of the installation and the movement scheme of the cooling air flow in the block of freezing and accumulation of ice granules.
1.The installation comprises a block of freezing and accumulation of ice granules, including a vertically insulated pipe 1 installed in the upper part of which a generator of monodispersed drops 2 is placed. A granule storage device 3, which is a thermostat, is connected to the pipe 1 below. The specified unit also contains an evaporator 4 mounted on the side of the pipe 1. The evaporator 4 is gasdynamically connected by two ducts (upper and lower) to the pipe 1. In the lower duct, a fan 5 is installed to pump air from the evaporator into the pipe 1.
10.In addition to the indicated unit, the installation contains a granule dispersal unit, consisting of a compressor 6, a refrigerator 7 and a nozzle apparatus 8 connected in series, as well as a water filtration system 9 and a control system for the installation 10.
The claimed installation works as follows. For the generation of monodispersed droplets, the method of forced capillary decay of jets (SRS method) is used, which allows one to obtain droplets of the same shape and size. In the pipe 1, a temperature is created - 80 degrees Celsius due to the circulation of dry, cooled air through the fan 5 through the evaporator 4 and pipe 1. To cool the air in the evaporator, a special refrigerant mixture is used as a refrigerant. In the evaporator 4, air passes from the pipe 1 through the upper duct. There it is cooled, through the lower duct it is pumped with a fan 5 into the lower part of the pipe directly above the thermostat 3 and rises up the pipe.
From the droplet generator 2, drops of water of the same shape in pipe 1 fall down and freeze to a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius when falling due to passage through dry, cold air rising upward. The ice granules formed after the fall accumulate in the thermostat 3. At the same time, the granules accumulated in the thermostat are cooled according to the "fluidized bed" principle by a circulating stream of dry air. The granules are mixed and thereby sticking together.
After the accumulation of granules, the thermostat 3 is disconnected from the pipe 1 and connected to the nozzle apparatus 8 of the granule dispersal unit. In the acceleration unit from the compressor 6 through the refrigerator 7, dry cooled compressed air is supplied to the nozzle apparatus 8. In this case, due to suction, the granules from the thermostat enter the working volume in the nozzle apparatus, mix with the air and accelerate together with the compressed air stream to speeds of 40-50 m / s at the exit of the nozzle.
The use of monodisperse ice granules obtained by the indicated SRS method allows increasing the flux density, provides the highest possible speed and prevents clogging of the nozzle. Granules frozen to the indicated temperature have a hardness close to the hardness of a metal fraction and a high abrasive effect.
The surface cleaning process is as follows. Ice granules accelerate and hit the surface being cleaned. At the point of impact, the kinetic energy of the granules passes into the energy of microcompression of the surface. Returning to its original state, the surface discharges pollution along with the remnants of ice granules.
At the point of impact, part of the granules is melted, forming a liquid and gas phase. The presence of these phases contributes to a more effective cleaning of the surface. As a result, the surface is completely cleaned, and the polluting component is associated with water.
Subsequent filtration 9 allows you to separate the pollution from water. Water is reused for the subsequent preparation of ice granules, and the pollution is disposed of. Thus, the most important condition for closing a water cycle is good filtration. The closed cycle fully ensures the environmental safety of cleaning.
The control system of the installation 10 allows you to flexibly configure the parameters of the installation: granule size, flow rate and air pressure in the nozzle apparatus.
Ice granules 300-1000 microns in size knock down not only external pollution, but also, due to the liquid and vapor phases, clean deeper areas of the contaminated surface.
The spherical shape and exactly the same size (deviation from sphericity of not more than 1%) make it possible to create a homogeneous flow of granules with a narrow speed spectrum and an adjustable spot diameter, which increases the efficiency of the installation and the safety of operation.
