SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method of spare wheel mounting, turnable post of spare wheel holder is fastened to automobile by means of hinge joint, spare wheel is connected with attachment bracket and force is applied to turnable post of spare wheel holder to turn it around fixed axle until it rises in vertical position, and then turnable post of spare wheel holder is fastened. Hinge lever is hinge-connected to upper part of turnable post of spare wheel holder. Spare wheel attachment bracket is fastened on said hinged lever and it always remains in vertical position at turning of post, then hinged lever with turnable post of spare wheel holder is made fast.

EFFECT: possibility of use of area under spare wheel holder for keeping other units and seats of automobile (brake system receivers, fuel tank, etc.

Известен аналог заявляемого технического решения - конструкции держателей запасных частей (ДЗК), состоящие из одной стойки ДЗК с жестко закрепленным на ней запасным колесом [1].
