Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to agriculture and can be used in beekeeping, especially in the industrial withdrawal of queen bees and the collection of royal jelly.
120, 121).There is a method of withdrawing queen bees and collecting bee milk, based on the fact that a narrow strip is cut from a bilateral honeycomb in one row of cells with bee larvae located in them. The lower part of the cells is removed, turning the bilateral strip of cells into one-sided. The remaining cells are cut in half height. After that, the strip is cut into separate cells in such a way that one cell is kept intact, with the larva intact, and the next one is cut from top to bottom in two, with the destruction of the larvae. In the future, parts of cells with live larvae are mounted on wedges, which, in turn, are attached to the planks of the grafting frame, and the frame is placed in the hive of the teacher's family, and the collection of royal jelly is carried out as in the previous method. (Carpathian bees. Reference book. 2nd edition, revised and supplemented. Uzhgorod. Publishing house "Karpaty", 1989, p. 120, 121).
Disadvantages: the method is not hygienic; at the same time, it is necessary to destroy the honeycomb frame with eggs laid in the cells of the queen bee and hatching larvae, which causes damage to the bee family and beekeeping in general; it is difficult to select coeval larvae in appearance; the diameter of the cells is much smaller than the diameter of the queen cells that the bees build on them, and the bees have to spend a lot of time on this work; tangible are the loss of wax, honey and bee bread.
Another method for withdrawing queens and collecting royal jelly is the closest analogue of the invention, based on the use of so-called bowls made from beeswax using patterns (Ibid., P. 121, 122). Bowls with molten wax are glued onto wooden wedges, which are attached to the grafting frame slats in the same way. A drop of royal jelly is placed in each bowl and one larva from honeycombs is transferred. A grafting frame with 25 bowls is placed in the center of the hive of the teacher's family. After 12-13 days, queen bees are hatched from queen cells built by bees on the basis of small bowls.
To collect bee milk, the process of hatching the uterus is interrupted by the end of the third day after the larvae are transplanted, the larvae are removed from the bowls, and the royal jelly deposited in them by the bee-nurse is collected with miniature glass spatulas.
The disadvantages of the method: the difficulty of selecting coeval larvae of bees needed for the simultaneous withdrawal of the uterus, the need for experienced specialists needed to transfer the larvae from the cells to the bowls.
The technical problem solved by the invention is the creation of a new method for hatching queen bees and collecting bee milk, providing a technical result, which consists in obtaining the required number of young, not older than 12 hours, coeval larvae of bees.
The essence of the method is to grow the larvae of bees necessary for the withdrawal of queen bees and to obtain bee milk, in a one-sided honeycomb collected from separate wax cylindrical cells with a hemispherical bottom. It is collected using a rigid detachable holder, which is cut into a honeycomb frame with brood and bees and covered with a cap from the separation grid used in beekeeping, previously placed under the cap for several hours, the queen bee to lay eggs in cells, and after 3.5 days, weave with the bees larvae located in its cells are taken out, the cells are cut in height to the level of the cage, the honeycomb is disassembled, and the cells with the larvae located in them are transformed into bowls intended for removing queen bees and milk of royal jelly, moreover, the cells in the honeycomb have an external height of 12 mm, a wall thickness of 0.5 mm - 1.0 mm, an internal diameter of 5.4 mm, and a clip using a height of 8 mm and its edge from the hemispherical bottom of the cells is bent inward under angle of 90 ° and has a width of 3-4 mm.
The proposed method consists of the following techniques. Separate cylindrical cells with a hemispherical bottom are made from beeswax, from which one-sided honeycomb is assembled using a rigid detachable holder 8 mm high. After that, the honeycomb is cut into the middle of the honeycomb frame with brood and bees and covered with a cap made of a dividing grid, after placing the queen bee under the cap for several hours to lay eggs in cells. After 3.5 days, the honeycomb with the same-aged larvae hatching in its cells is removed from the frame, all the cells are instantly cut with a beekeeping knife according to the level of the honeycomb holder, the honeycomb is dismantled, and the shortened cells with the bee larvae inside them are transformed into small bowls using a hollow thin-walled template intended for withdrawal of queen bees and collection of royal jelly. In the future, the bowls with the help of wedges according to the known method are strengthened on the planks of the grafting frame, which is then placed in the center of the hive of the family-educator, and by the known method, the queen bees are withdrawn and royal jelly is collected.
The capacity of the cotter holder can be different: from 10-15 cells when hatching uterus for a small number of bee colonies, up to 750 cells when hatching queen bees and collecting royal jelly.
The achievement of the technical result set by the invention is obvious: the uniformity of bee larvae in the proposed method is ensured by the fact that under its conditions the queen bee lays eggs in all cells of the honeycomb in a short time. For example, even a large honeycomb, consisting of 750 cells, the queen bee sows completely, without passes, sows in one night. At the same time, by the end of the 3.5th day after egg laying, the age of each larva will not exceed 12 hours. The process of transferring bee larvae from honeycomb cells to bowls is excluded by transformation into short bowls of shortened cells with larvae already in them.
Used in the implementation of the proposed method, the elements of a one-sided sotik and sotik assembly are illustrated in the drawings.

On the frame you can see the caps intended for temporary isolation of queen bees in the sotik zone - for the period of laying the eggs - made of dividing lattice.
At beekeeping farm A, once again examining the hives, the beekeeper found that in 40 hives, the queen bees were inactive, depleted, and generally needed to be replaced. To withdraw the queen bees according to the proposed method, the beekeeper collected using a clip a one-sided honeycomb of 50 wax cells, cut it into the middle of the frame with brood and bees, covered the honeycomb with the queen bee planted on it for 4 hours with a cap from the dividing grid. After 3.5 days, bee larvae hatch in all cells of the sotik. Having removed the honeycomb from the frame and cut off the cells according to the level of the honeycomb holder, the beekeeper disassembled the honeycomb and transformed, using a hollow thin-walled template, the shortened cells with the same age larvae in them into bowls for removing the queen bees. The bowls were strengthened with molten wax on the wedges, and the wedges on the planks of the grafting frame, which was placed in the middle of the hive of the teacher's family. After 12 days, 50 healthy motile uterus of acceptable sizes were hatched from queen cells completed by bees on the basis of small bowls. In this case, spare cells were taken in case of the death of part of the larvae, which in this case did not occur.
Beekeeping Farm B received an order for the urgent delivery of 180 g of fresh royal jelly. To complete the order, the beekeeper assembled a one-sided sotik of 750 cells. Sotik was cut into the middle of the frame with brood and bees and covered with a queen bee cap of the appropriate size from the dividing grid for one night. After 3.5 days, as shown by verification, 12-hour bee larvae hatch in all cells of the sotik. The sotik was removed from the frame, all the cells were instantly cut off by a beekeeping knife at the clip level, and the sotik was dismantled. Shortened cells with bees larvae of the same age located in them were transformed using a hollow thin-walled template into bowls for removing queen bees. The bowls with larvae were fixed with molten wax on the wedges, the wedges on the strips of the hatcher frames, 25 wedges in one frame. Then, one hatch frame was put into each of the 30 hives with kindergarten families. The larvae, as shown by the inspection, were successfully adopted for raising in all families after 2 hours. By the end of the 3rd day, the hatcher frames were alternately removed from the hives, the larvae from the bowls were removed, and the milk accumulated in the bowls was collected using miniature glass spatulas. A total of 185 g of high-quality royal jelly without impurities of diluted honey, pollen and pollen, or an average of 240 mg from each bowl was collected.
