Abstract
Description
The invention relates to metalworking and can be used for flat face grinding.
A circle is known (see ed. Certificate of the USSR No. 901039, class B 24 V 55/02, 1982) containing a faceplate with inclined channels, a flange with a funnel, a sleeve and a separator with inserts of highly coercive material.
The reasons that impede the achievement of the technical result indicated below when using the known device include the fact that in a known circle, a cutting fluid (coolant) flowing in the pores of a circle under the action of radially directed forces is ejected from it through a peripheral surface. During mechanical grinding, coolant practically does not enter the treatment zone.
(CAB).A well-known circle for flat grinding (see the technological instructions of VNIIASh "Progressive grinding methods with an abrasive tool". M: NIImash, 1978. - 26 pp.), Impregnated with lubricating active substances (CAB).
The reasons that impede the achievement of the technical result indicated below when using a known circle include the fact that when using a known circle, it is impossible to apply coolant through the pores of the circle, since they are filled with CAB. The coolant used practically does not fall into the grinding zone, which increases the heat stress of the treatment.
The closest circle of the same purpose to the claimed invention in terms of features is a porous wheel for mechanical grinding (see GOST 2424-83, types 11 and 6 on a ceramic bond), made in the form of a conical or cylindrical cup and adopted as a prototype.
The reasons that impede the achievement of the technical result indicated below when using a known wheel adopted as a prototype include the fact that when face grinding with a known circle, the coolant supplied through the pores is transported radially by centrifugal force. In the pore space, due to the high dynamics of the dispersal of the coolant with increasing coordinate along the radius, the fluid pressure drops. In the grinding zone from the pore space the coolant practically does not fall.
The invention consists in the following.
Reducing the heat stress of the abrasive process is especially relevant for face grinding due to the large length of the arc contact circle - workpiece. At the same time, wedge-shaped blanks are the most common type of workpieces polished by the end face of the circle, the heat treatment of which is even higher.
In addition, the recent increase in the cost of grinding wheels has made the problem of increasing their durability especially urgent.
EFFECT: increased quality and productivity of face grinding of workpieces.
The specified technical result during the implementation of the invention is achieved by the fact that the known grinding wheel for flat face grinding is made in the form of a conical or cylindrical cup and contains pores. The peculiarity lies in the fact that the pores on the outer conical or cylindrical surface of the circle, as well as on its inactive end, are filled with a lubricant-active substance that is impermeable to liquid.
I.The drawings show: in FIGS. 1 and 2, respectively, a conical and cylindrical wheel for flat face grinding, the pores on the peripheral and end (non-working) surfaces of which are filled with CAB, are shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, views I.
5.Conical and cylindrical (see figures 1 and 2) grinding wheels 1 contain in the
CAB.When grinding, the coolant supplied through the pores of the circle 1 (for example, by a freely falling stream on the inner conical or cylindrical surface of the circle), under the action of centrifugal forces, penetrates into the pore space of the circle and moves to its outer (peripheral) surface, through which the fluid flows (ejected) cannot, because the pores on this surface are filled with a CAB that is impervious to liquids. The fluid backing created in this way directs it in the pore space along this surface. If it is cylindrical, then the fluid flow is almost evenly divided (due to the smallness of gravitational forces compared with centrifugal forces) in the direction of the working and non-working ends of the circle. If the outer (peripheral) surface of the circle is conical, then a larger flow will be directed towards the end of the circle of a larger diameter (towards the working end of the circle). The fluid flow directed towards the non-working end will be stopped, since the pores on this surface are also filled with CAB.
In face grinding, in order to reduce the contact area (and, consequently, the heat stress), the axis of the circle, as a rule, is inclined by 1 ° ... 2 ° to the grinding surface. In this regard, the circle with its working end surface contacts the workpiece with a narrow strip located near the outer edge of the end face. CAB, filling the pores on the outer surface of the circle, getting into the grinding zone, is actively involved in the processing process. The coolant moves in the pore space of the circle and breaks out from under the CAB layer. CAB falls into the most loaded part of the grinding zone, where its lubricating properties are most important, and the coolant washes the grinding zone, removing heat from it. Heat power processing is reduced. In addition, sludge located in the intergranular space is washed out by the coolant. All this improves the grinding conditions, increases the durability of the wheel. There is an opportunity to increase processing productivity.
Under the conditions of the coolant prototype, for the above reasons, it practically does not fall into the intergranular space in the grinding zone (all the more so, it does not fill it), and therefore, the coolant efficiency is low.
