Abstract
Description
Предлагаемое изобретение относится к области гальванического нанесения металлических покрытий и может быть использовано при приготовлении электролитов-суспензий для композиционных гальванических покрытий в условиях массового, серийного и единичного производства.The present invention relates to the field of galvanic deposition of metal coatings and can be used in the preparation of electrolyte suspensions for composite galvanic coatings in conditions of mass, serial and single production.
При приготовлении электролитов, необходимых для осаждения композиционных покрытий, используют существующие электролиты с добавками различных порошковых материалов (чистых металлов, оксидов, нитридов, карбидов, боридов) [1]. Если степень дисперсности порошков удовлетворяет требованиям процесса, то их просто вводят в электролит известного состава небольшими порциями, тщательно перемешивая.In the preparation of electrolytes necessary for the deposition of composite coatings, existing electrolytes with additives of various powder materials (pure metals, oxides, nitrides, carbides, borides) are used [1]. If the degree of dispersion of the powders satisfies the requirements of the process, then they are simply introduced into the electrolyte of known composition in small portions, mixing thoroughly.
Недостатком этого способа является то, что получение таких порошков и приготовление суспензий, как в лабораторных условиях, так и в промышленных, трудоемко и дорого.The disadvantage of this method is that the preparation of such powders and the preparation of suspensions, both in laboratory conditions and in industrial, is laborious and expensive.
Результаты теоретических и практических изысканий [2] показывают, что значительное улучшение физико-механических свойств композиционных покрытий достигается при использовании порошков с размером частиц 0,01...0,4 мкм. В этом случае процесс приготовления электролита-суспензии усложняется, так как необходимо дополнительно измельчить частицы. Часто измельчение частиц производится в жидкости, на основе которой будет приготовлен электролит, или непосредственно в электролите.The results of theoretical and practical studies [2] show that a significant improvement in the physicomechanical properties of composite coatings is achieved using powders with a particle size of 0.01 ... 0.4 microns. In this case, the process of preparing the electrolyte suspension is complicated, since it is necessary to further grind the particles. Particles are often crushed in a liquid, on the basis of which an electrolyte will be prepared, or directly in an electrolyte.
Недостатки способа:The disadvantages of the method:
1. Происходит загрязнение порошка продуктами изнашивания механических частей измельчителя; необходимость очищать полученный порошок от примесей.1. The powder is contaminated by wear products of the mechanical parts of the grinder; the need to clean the resulting powder from impurities.
2. В связи с получением и использованием ультрадисперсных порошков серьезной проблемой является их агрегативная устойчивость, так как склонность порошков к слипанию обусловлена действием ван-дер-ваальсовых сил.2. In connection with the preparation and use of ultrafine powders, their aggregate stability is a serious problem, since the tendency of the powders to stick together is due to the action of van der Waals forces.
Задача предлагаемого изобретения состоит в упрощении способа приготовления электролита для нанесения композиционных гальванических покрытий путем использования процесса электрической эрозии.The objective of the invention is to simplify the method of preparation of an electrolyte for applying composite galvanic coatings by using the process of electrical erosion.
Технический результат: способ позволяет получать суспензию, состоящую из дистиллированной воды и частиц порошка, по химическому составу близкого к исходным материалам. Частицы порошка обладают более высокой твердостью, чем исходный материал, хорошей смачиваемостью, малой склонностью к слипанию и образованию конгломератов.Technical result: the method allows to obtain a suspension consisting of distilled water and powder particles, the chemical composition of which is close to the starting materials. The powder particles have a higher hardness than the starting material, good wettability, low tendency to stick together and the formation of conglomerates.
Указанный технический результат достигается тем, что сначала в дистиллированной воде путем электрической эрозии получают порошок требуемого гранулометрического состава, затем без осушения на основе полученной суспензии готовится электролит, в который добавляют необходимые реактивы.The specified technical result is achieved by first obtaining in the distilled water a powder of the desired particle size distribution by electrical erosion, then, without drying, an electrolyte is prepared on the basis of the suspension obtained, into which the necessary reagents are added.
Особенностью электроэрозионного диспергирования электропроводных материалов является возможность получения частиц различной дисперсности путем изменения энергии разряда.A feature of electroerosive dispersion of electrically conductive materials is the ability to obtain particles of different dispersion by changing the discharge energy.
Технологическая установка для получения порошков электропроводных материалов состоит из источника питания искровыми разрядами, реактора и системы управления. В реакторе между электродами находятся гранулы - куски металла или сплава произвольной формы и размеров. Электроды изготавливаются из диспергируемого материала. Межэлектродный промежуток заполняется дистиллированной водой так, что слой гранул погружен в эту жидкость.The technological installation for producing powders of electrically conductive materials consists of a spark source power supply, a reactor, and a control system. In the reactor between the electrodes are granules - pieces of metal or alloy of arbitrary shape and size. The electrodes are made of dispersible material. The interelectrode gap is filled with distilled water so that the granule layer is immersed in this liquid.
Соприкасаясь, гранулы образуют множество электрических контактов, соединенных в межэлектродном промежутке последовательно-параллельно. Один разрядный импульс между электродами вызывает в слое гранул, погруженных рабочую жидкость, искрение во многих местах. В местах контакта материал гранул может быть не только расплавлен, но и доведен до более высоких температур, при которых возможно испарение и взрывное удаление материала. При этом частицы вещества отрываются от поверхности гранул и мгновенно охлаждаются жидкостью.In contact, the granules form many electrical contacts connected in series in parallel between the electrode gap. One discharge pulse between the electrodes causes sparking in many places in the layer of granules immersed in the working fluid. At the points of contact, the material of the granules can be not only melted, but also brought to higher temperatures, at which evaporation and explosive removal of the material is possible. In this case, the particles of the substance come off the surface of the granules and are instantly cooled by a liquid.
В результате электрической эрозии возникают частицы преимущественно сферической формы при их размерах до 7 мкм и неправильной формы при размерах выше 7 мкм.As a result of electrical erosion, particles of predominantly spherical shape arise with their sizes up to 7 microns and irregular shapes with sizes above 7 microns.
Пример.Example.
At the experimental setup of the Institute of Electrodynamics of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR, a VK8 grade alloy was dispersed in distilled water at the conditions U = 100 V, I = 1 A, and pulse repetition rate f = 80 Hz. Products of electrical erosion are a dispersed mixture of tungsten carbide particles: 83% with a size of less than 1 micron and 17% of spherical particles up to 12 microns in size. Based on the suspension, an electrolyte was prepared for chromium plating of the following composition: CrO 3 - 120 g / l, sulfuric acid - 1.8 g / l. Chromium plating was carried out at a current density of 170 A / dm 2 at a temperature of 68 ± 1 ° C. The content of UDP ranged from 2 to 80 g / l. The anode material is lead-antimony alloy, the substrate material is steel 3. Microhardness measurements of the samples obtained with the addition of powder showed that the surface hardness increases on average by 9% (from 9.2 GPa in samples without adding powder to 10.1 GPa in samples with the addition of powder).
