Abstract
Description
The invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in power plants. A widely known method of automatically turning on [1] (repeated or reserve) is to disconnect a damaged section and connect it to the network (same or backup) with a delay. The disadvantage of this method is its limited functional ability, since it can only be used when using thyristor switches.
The closest in technical essence and the achieved results is a method [2] for quick automatic switching on of a network section containing a motor load, which consists in turning it off when the corresponding network mode occurs, monitoring the angle between the voltage vectors of the section and the network and then turning it on when this angle is close to the set value. The disadvantage of this method is the relatively low reliability. The reason for this is the possibility of switching on at an antiphase voltage, which will lead to large inrush currents. The aim of the invention is to increase reliability, reduce energy loss. This goal is achieved due to the fact that they calculate the values of the times to the specified angle value, select the smaller of these values, but exceeding the time for the circuit breaker to be turned on, set the time delay equal to the difference between these values, and after this time the command to turn on the circuit breaker is issued.
An additional difference consists in the fact that at each switching-on, the circuit-breaker is measured for the time it is turned on, it is remembered and used in the subsequent calculation.
Figure 1 shows the structural diagram for implementing the method. Designated: 1, 2 - input switches, 3 - protection unit, 4 - switch contact block (off-state sensor), 5 - buses, 6 - switch, 7 - load, 8, 9 - voltage sensors (transformers), 10 - phase detector (phase difference sensor), 11 - computing device, 12 - subtractor, 13 - time setting unit, 14 - key, 15 - current sensor, 16 - threshold element, 17 - response time sensor.
The method is implemented as follows with automatic input of the reserve. The load 7 is fed through the switch 6 from the bus 5, which is supplied with power through the
The value of α is taken equal to the phase angle of the equivalent load and lies in the range from zero to 90 degrees electrical.
Subtractor 12 subtracts from the obtained time values the intrinsic time of the circuit breaker coming from the sensor 17. From the values obtained after subtraction, the smallest positive value is selected, which is set to the time delay unit 13. After this predetermined time, the unit 13 gives a signal to turn on the switch 2, the closure of which will occur with a voltage phase difference equal to the phase angle of the equivalent load. For motor loading, the phase angle of the load is close to 30-80 degrees electrical. Such an inclusion excludes inrush currents. Simultaneously with the command to turn on the switch 2, the switch 17 on time switch is reset and starts, which starts measuring the time until the output of the threshold element 16 displays a signal indicating the appearance of current in the current sensor 15. This value is measured in electrical degrees, stored and will be used the next time it is turned on.
