Abstract
Description
The invention relates to hydraulic engineering and can be used to protect water intake from sediment, fish, plankton, floating garbage and oil products.
With the growth of water consumption for the needs of industry and energy, the organization of water intake from large reservoirs, including seas, the intra-coastal coastal currents of which carry not only a significant amount of bottom sediments, but also contain huge masses of fish, plant debris and planktonic organisms. During periods of “outbreaks”, the abundance of zooplankton and its accumulations drifting along a reservoir reach tens of kilometers in diameter. If they fall into the zone of action of water intakes that are not equipped with protection systems, it can lead not only to the mass death of fish and plankton, but also to disrupt the normal operation of the water intake structure, up to its stop and failure.
Known water intake with a fenced inlet channel (see. Water intake facilities. Collection of scientific papers. - M., VNII “VODGEO”, 1983, pp. 99-110, Fig. 3), including a coastal pumping station located in the water intake (water supply channel ), fenced off from the reservoir by protective dams arranged in it.
The purpose of moving the water intake deep into a large body of water, for example, the sea, is to prevent the entry of water intake by bottom sediments transported along the coastal currents. However, this event is temporary, since sediment deposited between the shore and the root part of the dams will eventually begin to bend around the heads of the protective dams, contributing to the entry of the water supply channel. In addition, this technical solution does not protect the water intake from the ingress of aquatic organisms.
A known protection system for water intake, implemented in a technical solution according to A.S. USSR No. 1516571 to E 02
This technical solution is intended for clarification of natural and waste waters, mainly from gravity sediments falling to the bottom of the basin as polluted waters flow through it. At the same time, the stream can also transport suspended particles, including planktonic organisms and fish, which do not settle to the bottom when the stream loses its transporting ability. As a result, they will fall into the water intake, which is a significant drawback of this device.
The objective of the invention is to increase the efficiency of protection of the water intake from sediment, juvenile fish, plankton, floating debris and oil products, by reducing the influence of alongshore currents on the water intake and organizing the protection of water bodies with natural stratification restored from the depth of the stream by flotation in an artificially organized ascending air-water the flow of water moving along a protective device with vertical separation.
The solution of this problem is achieved by the fact that in the protection system of the water intake structure, which includes a closed water intake zone formed by a protective dam, in the body of which an inlet water intake is arranged, and opposite to it is the water intake of the water intake pipe, according to the invention, the water intake is placed in a water body with formation along the coast a transit channel designed for unhindered passage of alongshore currents, the inlet is arranged in a protective dam with on the sea side, and the intake of the intake pipe is made in the form of a protective device with vertical separation, including an inlet flow-forming, working protective water intake and outlet elements and equipped with an additional floatation device in the form of a horizontal perforated pipe connected to the pressure duct, and the outlet element is connected to the transit channel and equipped with a unit for creating a directed water flow connected to a source of pressure water.
The invention is illustrated by drawings, where figure 1 shows the proposed protection system of the water intake structure, plan; figure 2 - diagram of the water intake of the intake pipe, cross section.
Отводящий элемент (11) соединен с транзитным каналом (2) водоема (1) и оборудован узлом создания направленного тока воды (13), подключенным к источнику напорной воды (не показан).The protection system of the water intake structure includes a water intake (3) discharged into the body of water (1) with the formation of a transit alongshore channel (2), enclosed from the main body of water (1) by a closed protective dam (4) and connected to the coastal pumping station (5) by an underground water intake pipeline (6). From the sea side, at the top of the protective dam (4), an inlet water inlet (7) is arranged. In the opposite part of the water area (3) there is a water intake (8) of the intake pipe (6), made in the form of a protective device with vertical separation, including an inlet flow-forming (9), a protective water-receiving (10) and diverting (11) functional elements and equipped additional flotation device (12), in the form of a horizontal perforated pipe connected to a pressure duct (not shown). The outlet element (11) is connected to the transit channel (2) of the reservoir (1) and is equipped with a unit for creating a directed water flow (13) connected to a source of pressure water (not shown).
Protection of the water intake is as follows.
The presence of a transit channel (2), separating the water intake area (3) from the coast, keeps the paths along the coastal currents that freely transport bottom sediments and other water bodies outside the water intake area and do not have a significant effect on the water intake. This leads to a sharp reduction in the inflow of water sediment (3) to bottom sediments and water bodies.
Water taken to the water consumer, first of all, comes from the reservoir into the water intake area (3). In the presence of stratification of aquatic organisms and other bodies of water transported by the stream in a reservoir, incl. floating garbage and oil products, the inlet water inlet (7) is located in the poor layers of the reservoir, from where the water is taken. The location of the hole (7) at the top of the water area (3) allows you to skip past it to the shore most of the water bodies that move to the water intake due to wind surge.
(1).The speed of the water flowing out of the culvert hole (7) in the water area (3) is slowed down, which allows the latter to be used as a sedimentation tank for the remaining sediment and other gravitational debris entering the intake. The presence of a settling water zone also makes it possible to restore the stratification of water bodies in the water column, disturbed, for example, by the waves of water in the main body of water (1).
(1).After passing through the water intake area (3), water with a restored structure of the vertical distribution of the water bodies transported by it enters the protective device of the water intake (8) of the water intake pipe (6), equipped with a flotation device (12), which creates a water-air curtain. In this case, the hydraulic structure of the flow flowing into the device (8) is organized by the inlet flow-forming element (9) in such a way that the objects floating in the surface layer remain unchanged, and the objects located in the thickness and at the bottom are also output by the stream the upper horizon and in it are transported above the protective-water-receiving element (10) to the outlet element (11). According to the outlet element (11) during the water flow organized by the directed current generating unit (13), water bodies are brought back to the reservoir (1).
(10).The upward movement of the fish is facilitated by the expansion of its swimming bladder, which gives the fish additional positive buoyancy. An additional upward movement of plankton and floating debris is provided by flotation of the air leaving the perforated pipeline (12), the direction of rise of which in the flow-forming element (9) coincides with the direction of the flow and, therefore, with the direction of floating of plankton and debris. As a result of this, all objects transported by water rise into the upper layer of the watercourse. Above the protective-water-receiving element (10), a water-air curtain supports and stimulates the movement of aquatic organisms in the surface layer of the stream. The water-air curtain is also a visual reference for fish, which also contributes to its lifting and holding in the upper layer. Thus, conditions are created for the transportation of all types of water bodies in the upper layer, i.e. on the periphery, at a distance from the protective-water-receiving element (10).
Spreading along the protective-water-receiving element (10) and passing through it, the stream, freed from transported water bodies, enters the water intake pipe (6) and then to the water consumer.
The proposed protection system for the water intake facility allows for multi-stage protection of the water intake from the entire spectrum of water bodies transported into it - bottom sediments, fish, plankton, floating garbage and oil products. The absence of mesh and moving functional elements can significantly reduce the operating costs of cleaning the structure, avoid injuring aquatic organisms and ensure their viability.
