Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a drilling tool, and in particular to a rock cutting tool for planetary-bit drilling of wells.
Known drill bit for planetary drill bit according to patent RU 2134764, C1, cl. E 21 B 4/20, 08.20.1999, 5 p. (prototype), the design of which corresponds to the design given in the reference book of I. Maslennikov, “Drilling tool” M., Nedra, 1989, p. 18-23, fig. 2.1.3 and includes a welded or cast body with connecting thread, legs or sections with pins, thrust bearings and cones, the outer working surfaces of which are made in the form of a combination of conical surfaces that completely overlap the bottom of the well when the bit rotates around its own axis.
The use of these bits when drilling with a planetary-bit method increases the cost of drilling wells, so when drilling in this way at the bottom there are at least two bits that rotate simultaneously around their own axes and around the axis of the well during drilling. As a result of this, rock destruction at the bottom of the well is carried out by small annular faces moving around the axis of the well (according to the number of bits), in the destruction of which only the teeth of the peripheral conical surfaces of the cones are involved, and the teeth of the main cone of the cones are not involved in the destruction process. That is, when drilling with the planetary-bit method by the above-mentioned bits, they do not use more than 40% of the working surfaces of the cones, the manufacture of which requires expensive materials with corresponding production costs.
Thus, the use of the above standard roller cone bits for planetary-bit drilling is impractical, since this leads to an increase in drilling costs.
The purpose of the invention is the creation of a bit for planetary-bit drilling, providing a reduction in manufacturing costs, and as a consequence of this reduction in drilling costs.
This goal is achieved in that the cones have external working surfaces in the form of a combination of truncated conical surfaces located with the possibility of the formation of an annular face when the bit rotates around its own axis.
Figure 1 shows the proposed drill bit for planetary-bit method of drilling in the context; figure 2 - the placement of two bits on the bottom of the well in a vertical plane, and figure 3 is a diagram of the destruction of the bottom of the well.
9'. A drill bit for planetary-bit drilling (Fig. 1) consists of a welded or cast body 1 with a connecting thread, legs or sections 2 with trunnions 3, pillow blocks 4 and roller cones 5, the outer working surface of which is presented as a combination of truncated conical surfaces, located with the possibility of the formation of an annular face during rotation of the bit around its own axis. In FIG. 2 shows drill bits for planetary-
Drill bits for planetary-bit drilling work as follows.
Drill
Thus, the proposed drill bits with a reduced mass of cones and a simplified geometry of their working surface provide for well drilling in the mode of volumetric destruction of rock with optimal axial loads on the bits, and also contribute to an increase in the service life of elements of the drill string.
