Abstract
Description
The invention relates to equipment for oil wells and can be used to maintain optimal thermal conditions in them in order to prevent and eliminate paraffin hydrate formations.
A device is known for heating a well and maintaining its thermal regime, comprising a power source and an electric heater made in the form of a metal cylinder placed in a downhole pipe (RF patent N 2029069, IPC E 21 B 37/00, publ. 02.20.95). Also known is an electric heater made in the form of a cable, the current-carrying conductors of which are connected at one end to the terminals of the power source and connected at the other (PCT application 92/08036, IPC E 21 B 37/00, 1992). The disadvantages of these devices include the fact that the medium near the heater always has a significantly higher temperature than the walls of the pipe.
The objective of the invention is to increase the efficiency of the process of heating a well.
The problem is solved by the fact that in the device for heating the well, containing the first heating element in the form of a cable located in the tubing, according to the invention, at the end of the last there is an uninsulated section with conductive weights that provide electrical connection to one or more parallel cable conductors, through which current is passed, with a tubing, which is the second heating element. This allows heating by passing current not only the cable, but also the tubing itself.
From the condition of uniform heating of the contents of the tubing, the power given to the fluid flow by the pipe walls and the cable should be proportional to the squares of their diameters. However, given that the pipe can touch metal objects and intensively transfers heat to the outside, it is still desirable to concentrate a lot of power in the cable. With this in mind, it is advisable that the power of the second heating element (pipe) was 0.5-0.05 of the power of the first heating element (cable). This is due to the fact that the cable conductors through which current is passed have a resistance greater than the resistance of the walls of the tubing.
In practice, an uninsulated cable section can have a length of 2-10 m, and conductive loads can be made in the form of metal washers with an outer diameter of 1.1-1.3 cable diameters for insulation and a thickness of 20-60 mm. Washers are located on an uninsulated cable section at a distance of 0.3-0.6 m from each other.
For uneven heating of different sections of the well, the cable may have a variable length resistance.
To control the temperature in different areas, the cable can be equipped with temperature sensors embedded in it and control cores for connecting them to the measuring device.
The drawing shows the proposed device.
The device comprises a cable 2 located in the tubing 1, the conductors 3 cables through which current is passed during heating are connected on the one hand to the positive terminal of the power source 4, and on the other, they are bare, welded to each other and connected by a bandage 5, forming uninsulated section 6 of cable 2 in this way (for example, conductive loads 7, made in the form of metal washers in contact with the inner wall of the tubing 1 connected to the negative, are fixed (for example, welded to the cores 3) I have found a source of power.
10. Temperature sensors 8 are connected into the cable, connected through control cores 9 to the measuring device 10.
The proposed device can be used commercially available geophysical cable with a sheath of heat-resistant polymer (for example, type KNNGS 3x0.75-100-120).
A device for heating a well works as follows.
10. When you turn on the power source 4, the current flows through parallel-connected cores 3, conductive weights 7 and the tubing 1. In this case, the heat generated in the cable 2 and the walls of the pipe 1 heats the medium inside the well. Temperature control of various sections of the cable is carried out using a measuring device 10.
