Abstract
Description
The invention relates to medical equipment and is intended for drilling bone tissue during trauma, neurosurgical and other operations.
(2). Known drills for processing bones, which are analogues of metal-cutting drills (1). Also known are tools for processing bone tissue according to the copyright certificate (2).
A common drawback of the known drill designs is the impossibility of their execution in a one-time version due to the need for systematic regrinding, as well as the presence of all such tools with the so-called transverse cutting edge, which cannot carry out the cutting process in the center of the hole. Forming occurs by plastic deformation of biological tissue, there is no cutting process, increased pressure is applied to the tissue, which is accompanied by an increase in temperature, increased pain and complication of subsequent healing.
(3). In metalworking, needle cutters are known in which the cutting part is a set of needles (3).
The aim of the invention is the creation of a cutting tool for drilling bone tissue, which has equal cutting properties over the entire cutting surface and allows its use in a one-time design in terms of manufacturability and economy, which frees the clinic from sharpening and sterilization of the tool.
This goal is achieved by the fact that the tool is a tube or rod, on the front working part of which a sleeve is installed, in the holes of which metal needles are attached with the tip forward, similar to the bristles of the brush, and the needles are located around the circumference of the sleeve and the axial reach can be different. On the back of the tube there is a long sleeve with a flat or square at the end, which is the shank.
In FIG. 1 shows a needle drill, side view; in FIG. 2 - needle drill, end view, with needles located on concentric circles; in FIG. 3 - drill, end view, with needles arranged in a spiral; in FIG. 4 is a side view showing needles with different axial reach; in FIG. 5 is a cross section of a tubular shank with a flat; in FIG. 6 is a cross section of a solid rod with a square.
1. The tool contains a housing 1 in the form of a sleeve or a solid rod, a
The tool works as follows.
Being connected to the flexible drive of the bone processing apparatus, the needle drill is informed of rotation and pressed against the surface of the bone, the
