Abstract
Description
The invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to the designs of the sliding current collector assembly of electrical machines, mainly large multi-brush synchronous generators and asynchronous motors with a phase rotor.
Known current collector carbon brush with cylindrical inserts from a tall mass containing molybdenum disulfide, characterized in that in order to improve operational properties, the axis of the inserts are located in the plane of the cross sections of the brush, and the inserts themselves are staggered in two rows, each of which is half the width the width of the brush, and each insert of one row is offset relative to the adjacent insert of the other row by a distance equal to the diameter of the insert. (author's certificate. USSR N 746794, class H 01 R 43/12). The disadvantages of this brush include the presence of lubricant in it, which reduces manufacturability, the presence of holes in the brush material reduces its mechanical strength.
The closest in technical essence to the achieved result is a brush-collector assembly containing a collector, bipolar collector brushes installed in diametrically opposite brush holders, and additional brushes, characterized in that in order to reduce wear on the collector and additional brushes, additional brushes are installed spring loaded in additional introduced brush holders between bipolar collector brushes on each collector track, the length of each additional brush is equal to the length collector brushes, and the width is chosen greater than the thickness of the insulation between the collector plates, with additional brushes made of a mixture containing molybdenum disulfide 80-95% and a non-conductive binder - the rest is up to 100% by weight of the mixture (ed. certificate of the USSR N 1815710, cl. H 01 R 39/00.)
The disadvantages of this design of the brush-collector assembly include limited application due to stringent requirements for a binder (only non-conductive), design complexity due to the introduction of additional brush holders, the presence of lateral wear of additional brushes, and also the incomplete use of the resource of an additional brush.
An object of the invention is to reduce the wear of slip rings and additional brushes operating on contact rings, reduce lateral wear of additional brushes, simplify the design of the sliding slip ring assembly, save lubricant. The technical problem is achieved by the fact that in the node of the sliding current collection of an electric machine containing spring-loaded current collection and additional composite brushes, the contact part of the additional brushes contains molybdenum disulfide and a binder, contact rings, additional brushes are made integral in the form of contact and carrier parts and are located in regular brush holders between current-carrying brushes on each contact track, the length of the contact and bearing parts of the additional brush being equal to the length of current-carrying brushes, width the bearing part of the additional brush is equal to the width of the current-carrying brush, the width of the contact part of the additional brush is not more than the width of its bearing part, the height of the contact part of the additional brush is equal to the allowable wear of current-carrying brushes, and one additional is installed for every two current-carrying brushes.
The technical essence of the invention is illustrated by drawings. In FIG. 1 shows a general view of a slip collector assembly of an electric machine; FIG. 2 - brush holder with a group of collector brushes, in FIG. 3 - brush holder with additional brushes.
The sliding current collection unit of the electric machine (Fig. 1) contains contact rings 1,
Such a solution to the technical problem is possible in the nodes of the sliding current collector, where on the contact ring there are more than two current-carrying brushes.
The length of the contact part l P (Fig. 2) of the
4. The operation of the sliding current collector is as follows. When the ring 1 is rotated, the contact part of the
The patented sliding current collection unit is implemented on an experimental synchronous generator based on a BMZ-4.5 generator with a power of 4.5 kVA and on an experimental asynchronous motor with a phase rotor based on an AK-52 engine with a power of 4.5 kW. In addition to current-carrying brushes, in these machines, additional brushes were installed on the rings, the contact part of which was made from a mixture of molybdenum disulfide and LBS-5 bakelite varnish. The bearing part of the additional brushes was made of fiberglass. Both parts were bonded to each other using epoxy glue. The temperature of the rings during the research did not exceed 75 o C. The length of the additional brush was chosen equal to the length of the collector brush to ensure uniform lubrication of the entire working path of the ring; due to this, the same wear of current-carrying brushes and rings along the width of the working path is achieved.
The width of the carrier and contact parts of the additional brush is chosen equal to the width of the current-carrying brush.
1. The specific pressure on the additional brush is selected from the condition of obtaining a minimum and equal wear height of current-carrying and additional brushes. Lateral wear of the contact part of the additional brushes is practically absent. The wear of the current-carrying brushes at the patented sliding current collection unit is reduced by more than 2 times under normal conditions, the wear of additional brushes has decreased by 20%. Saving lubricant of the contact part of the additional brush - up to 50% compared with the prototype. The optimal ratio of the number of current-carrying and additional brushes is obtained: for two current-carrying one additional. The results of comparative tests performed under the same conditions of the prototype and the patented invention on the basis of an experimental generator of the BMZ type are presented in table 1.
50%. Thus, the technical result was achieved: the wear of the current collector and additional brushes operating on the contact rings decreased, the side wear of the additional brushes decreased, the design of the slip collector assembly of the electric machine was simplified, and the lubricant was saved by 50%.
