Description
The utility model relates to the field of measuring technology and can be used for sequential measurement of the components of the electric field strength vector.
A single-coordinate electric field strength sensor is known [Utility model patent No. 17225 RF, MKI G 01 R 29/08], containing a conductive spherical base, on the surface of which, isolated from it and from each other, there are two identical electrically conductive sensitive elements in the form of hemispheres, centers which lie on the same coordinate axis passing through the center of the spherical base and the measuring circuit located inside the conductive spherical base of the sensor.
The advantage of the sensor is that it is made double, since diametrically opposite pairs of conductive sensitive elements are located on the coordinate axis of the sensor. And, the strength of the electric field is judged by the magnitude of the charge difference between opposite pairs of sensitive elements. The use of a sensor in a differential connection leads to an increase in measurement accuracy, by reducing the influence of common-mode components caused by external electrical noise.
The disadvantage of the sensor can be attributed to the implementation of its sensitive elements in the form of hemispheres, which have an angular size θ 0 =90°. Such a size of the sensitive elements of the sensor leads to a significant negative error from the field inhomogeneity. In a wide spatial measurement range from 0 to ∞, this error can reach -34%. A sensor with a negative error will underestimate the value of the electric field strength. When the error is limited, for example, to -5%, the spatial measurement range is limited to a range that does not allow measurements near the field source with a small error.
A three-coordinate sensor is also known, implemented in a method for measuring the electric field strength, [Patent RU No. 2388003, MKI G01 R 29/12, G01 R 29/08], containing a conductive spherical base with three pairs of conductive sensing elements in the form of spherical segments with angular dimensions θ 0 ≤45°, located in pairs and symmetrically relative to the surface of the spherical base of the sensor on its coordinate axes passing through the center of the spherical housing, while the sensitive elements and the sensor housing are isolated from each other.
The sensor of the second analogue is also made double, and has the same advantages as the sensor of the first analogue.
The disadvantage of the sensor is that its sensitive elements are made in the form of spherical segments with angular dimensions θ 0 ≤45° and are part of a hemisphere with an angular dimension θ 0 =90°. The limitation of the angular dimensions of the spherical segments to 45° is caused by the exclusion of their overlapping. A sensor with sensitive elements in the form of spherical segments and angular dimensions θ 0 ≤45° in an inhomogeneous field has a positive error, the limiting value of which reaches +35% in a wide spatial range. As a result, the value of the electric field strength will be overestimated. When the error is limited, for example, to +5%, the spatial measurement range is limited to a range that does not allow measurements near the field source with a small error.
Closest to the claimed sensor is a sensor for measuring the electric field, [Author's certificate SU No. 1149189, MKI G01 R 29/08], containing a spherical conductive base, three pairs of conductive sensing elements in the form of parts of spherical segments with angular dimensions (where θ 0 is determined in degrees; δ is the error from the field inhomogeneity in relative units) placed symmetrically on diametrically opposite sections of the spherical conductive body, isolated from it and one from the other and located on the coordinate axes passing through the center of the spherical body.
The advantage of the sensor is that the sensitive elements are part of spherical segments made with an angular size
45°<θ0<63,4°. 45°<θ 0 <63.4°. The use of parts of spherical segments is caused by the exclusion of their overlapping with each other. Such angular dimensions of the sensitive elements of the sensor made it possible to expand the spatial measurement range from d=2R to d=1.3R, where d is the distance to the field source, R is the radius of the spherical sensor housing. In addition, the prototype sensor is also made double, and has the same advantages as the analogue sensor.
Недостатком датчика можно считать узкий пространственный диапазон измерения при погрешности от неоднородности поля, лежащей в диапазоне от ±1% до ±3%.A shortcoming of the sensor can be considered a narrow spatial measurement range with an error due to field inhomogeneity ranging from ±1% to ±3%.
Thus, a common disadvantage of analogues and the prototype is that, with equal allowable errors from field inhomogeneity, they have a narrow spatial measurement range that does not allow measurements to be made near the source of the field.
The objective of the utility model is to improve the accuracy of measuring the electric field strength in a wide spatial measurement range, i.e. at distances from the source of the field or conductive surfaces commensurate with the dimensions of the sensor. At such distances, the electric field in the presence of the sensor has a strong inhomogeneity.
Указанная задача достигается тем, что в известном датчике для измерения напряженности электрического поля, содержащим проводящее сферическое основание с проводящими чувствительными элементами, попарно и симметрично расположенных относительно поверхности корпуса датчика на его координатных осях, проходящих через центр сферического основания, при этом чувствительные элементы и сферическое основание датчика изолированы друг от друга, согласно заявленному решению датчик имеет расположенные на одной координатной оси два чувствительных элемента, выполненных в форме сферического двуугольника с угловыми размеры α0=90° и β0, при этом β0 устанавливается из диапазона значений 43,4°≤β0≤48,7° исходя из требуемой погрешности от неоднородности поля, выбираемой из диапазона 0,25 %<δ<3,5 % и соответствующему ей пространственному диапазону измерений в соответствии с установленной функциональной зависимости β0=f(δ).This task is achieved by the fact that in a known sensor for measuring the electric field strength, containing a conductive spherical base with conductive sensitive elements, located in pairs and symmetrically relative to the surface of the sensor housing on its coordinate axes passing through the center of the spherical base, while the sensitive elements and the spherical base sensors are isolated from each other, according to the claimed solution, the sensor has two sensitive elements located on the same coordinate axis, made in the form of a spherical bicagon with angular dimensions α 0 =90° and β 0 , while β 0 is set from the range of values 43.4°≤ β 0 ≤48.7° based on the required error from the field inhomogeneity, selected from the range of 0.25%<δ<3.5% and the corresponding spatial measurement range in accordance with the established functional dependence β 0 =f(δ).
The electric field strength sensor works as follows.
где а=R/d - пространственного диапазона измерения, R - радиус сферического корпуса датчика, d - расстояние от центра сферического корпуса датчика до источника поля, θ0 - угловой размер чувствительного элемента датчика.where a=R/d is the spatial measurement range, R is the radius of the spherical sensor housing, d is the distance from the center of the spherical sensor housing to the field source, θ 0 is the angular size of the sensor sensing element.
For the claimed sensor, the resulting error δ is determined by a more complex expression given in [Biryukov S.V. Electric field strength sensor with electrodes in the form of spherical polygons /S.V. Biryukov, A.S. Shilikov. // Omsk Scientific Bulletin, vol. 18. - 2002. - S.123-127]. The expression for the error is a functional dependence of the form δ=f(α 0 , β 0 , a), where α 0 =90° and β 0 are the angular dimensions of the sensitive elements in the form of a digon, a is the spatial measurement range characterizing the degree of field inhomogeneity.
Next, according to the measured difference, the modulus of the electric field strength vector is determined.
Уменьшение погрешности датчика и расширение его пространственного диапазона измерения достигается за счет выполнения чувствительных элементов датчика в форме сферического двуугольника с угловыми размерами α0=90° и β0, при этом β0 устанавливается из диапазона значений 43,4°≤β0≤48,7° исходя из требуемой погрешности от неоднородности поля, выбираемой из диапазона 0,25%<δ<3,5% и соответствующему ей пространственному диапазону измерений в соответствии с установленной функциональной зависимости β0=f(δ).Reducing the error of the sensor and expanding its spatial measurement range is achieved by making the sensitive elements of the sensor in the form of a spherical diagon with angular dimensions α 0 =90° and β 0 , while β 0 is set from the range of values 43.4°≤β 0 ≤48, 7° based on the required error from the inhomogeneity of the field, selected from the range of 0.25%<δ<3.5% and the corresponding spatial measurement range in accordance with the established functional dependence β 0 =f(δ).
With such angular dimensions, the distribution of charges induced by an inhomogeneous field on the surface of the sensitive elements of the sensor in the form of a spherical digon will approach the distribution in a uniform field, which makes it possible to carry out measurements at distances closer to the field source. This confirms the graphs shown in Fig. 3, from which it can be seen that the graphs of the proposed sensor are higher than the graphs of the prototype sensor. This suggests that the inventive sensor with the same error from the inhomogeneity of the field has a larger spatial measurement range than the prototype sensor. In figures, as examples, we choose the error from the inhomogeneity of the field δ=3%. For this error, the prototype sensor will have a spatial measurement range a=0.89, and the inventive sensor - a≈0.975. In terms of the distance to the field source, we obtain for the prototype sensor d 1 =1.12R, and for the inventive sensor d 2 =1.025R. It follows that the inventive sensor can work closer to the source of the field. This confirms the achievement of the goal of the utility model, i.e. expansion of the spatial range of measurements.
4 можно установить, что датчик с погрешностью от неоднородности поля δ=3 % должен иметь угловые размеры чувствительных элементов в форме сферического двуугольника равными α0=90° и β0≈43,9°.Using the same example, in FIG. 4, it can be established that the sensor with an error from the field inhomogeneity δ=3% should have the angular dimensions of the sensitive elements in the form of a spherical digon equal to α 0 =90° and β 0 ≈43.9°.
Thus, the inventive sensor allows, with the same error from field inhomogeneity, to expand the spatial measurement range in electric fields.
