Description
The utility model relates to the field of ship propellers, in particular propeller nozzles.
Known nozzle propeller [1], containing elements of the nozzle, made in the form of triangles or trapezoids, fixed near the propeller. The outer longitudinal edges of the nozzle elements are located on conical surfaces with bases facing the screw and parallel to its axis. The propeller nozzle is made in the form of a shell, inside of which nozzle elements are placed symmetrically relative to each other and the propeller, the ribs of which protrude behind the propeller beyond the outlet contours of the shell. The height of the nozzle element is less than half the radius of the screw. The nozzle converts part of the rotational energy of the flow into translational, thereby increasing the propulsion ratio of the propeller. The nozzle elements spin the water flow and partially straighten it.
The disadvantages of this invention is the complexity of the manufacture and repair of the nozzle, because. it is necessary to select the longitudinal section and the angle of inclination of the bevel of the nozzle element depending on the mode of operation of the screw (diameter, rotation speed), which is difficult to implement in practice.
As a prototype, a propeller nozzle was selected, which provides a significant increase in the thrust of the propeller of a floating craft, due to the design entering the fairing, which leads to compression of the water flow, and as a result, an increase in reactive thrust and prevention of cavitation of the propeller [2]. The annular nozzle is made in the form of a cylindrical surface, in which the diameters of the inlet and outlet for the water flow are equal.
The disadvantages of this invention is the use of only the translational part of the flow energy.
The objective of the claimed utility model is to increase the propulsion coefficient of the propeller by converting part of the rotational flow energy into translational.
The problem is solved in that the propeller nozzle is made in the form of an annular element (body), the inner surface of which is made with grooves and recesses located on the side of the inlet of the water flow created by the propeller, which gradually turn into ribs located on the side of the outlet of the flow.
The execution of the inner surface of the housing with grooves, recesses, turning into ribs allows you to convert part of the rotational energy of the water flow into translational energy.
In FIG. 1 shows the nozzle of the propeller in the section along A-A, in Fig. 2 - in section along B-B, in Fig. 3 - view B.
Все пазы и ребра имеют одинаковую ширину δ.The propeller nozzle is made in the form of an annular element (body) 1, the outer surface of which has a smooth cylindrical shape, and the inner surface is made in the propeller area (half of its length) with
Размеры канавок и ребер зависят от диаметра гребного винта D и определяются по зависимостям: h1=(0,035…0,040)D; h2=(0,15…0,20)D; h3=(0,45…0,55)D; δ=(0,050…0,055)D.The dimensions of the grooves and ribs depend on the diameter of the propeller D and are determined by the dependencies: h1=(0.035…0.040)D; h2=(0.15…0.20)D; h3=(0.45…0.55)D; δ=(0.050…0.055)D.
The ring nozzle for the propeller works as follows. During operation of the propeller, the water flow passing through the nozzle makes rotational and translational movements. The grooves of the recess "straighten" the flow on the propeller, increasing its translational energy, and the ribs behind the screw also increase the translational energy, thereby increasing the reactive force and propulsion ratio of the propeller.
The use of the claimed utility model makes it possible to increase the propulsion coefficient of the propeller and increase the efficiency of its operation.
