Abstract
Description
The invention relates to equipment for clarification, in particular, juice juice and is intended for use in the sugar industry.
Known gravity sedimentation tank for separating suspensions, containing a package of precipitation elements in the form of zigzag sections mounted on top of one another of inclined parallel plates, the latter being made in the form of roof-shaped grooves with alternately alternating bends up and down in adjacent sections [1]. In this sump, the plates with the trough located downward are directed towards the suspension flow, and with the bend of the trough up, they are directed towards the discharge of clarified liquid.
The disadvantage of the sump is that it does not sufficiently clearly separate the phases between the rows of troughs, which does not provide a high degree of clarification of the liquid.
[2].The closest technical solution to the proposed one is a gravity sedimentation tank for suspensions, containing a housing with slanted rows of parallel grooves having a dihedral angle of 90-120 o in cross section, with the top pointing downward in the sedimentation rows, and upward in clarifying rows the input of the suspension, made in the form of a chamber formed by a reflective partition located parallel to the precipitation troughs, and means for removing the condensed and clarified phase [2].
The disadvantage of the sump is that it also does not provide a clear separation of the phases between the rows of troughs, which leads to a decrease in the degree of separation of the suspension and, thus, to a decrease in productivity. In addition, the installation of the gutters in the housing is time-consuming due to the fact that it is not possible to pre-assemble them in a bag.
The technical result of the invention is to increase the degree of separation of the suspension, speeding up the process and providing a service device.
This result is achieved by the fact that in the proposed gravity sedimentation tank containing a housing, the rows of parallel precipitation and clarification troughs installed in it have a dihedral angle of 90-120 o in cross section with the apex direction upward in the clarification rows and in precipitation in rows — downward, and means for introducing a suspension and discharging the thickened and clarified phase, each trench of the precipitation rows is placed in such a way that sections of its side walls 25–50% of their total width are located between the sides bubbled walls of adjacent troughs decolouring series to form therebetween gaps of equal size.
Figure 1 shows a General view of the sump; figure 2 is the same, cross section; figure 3 is a top view of figure 2; figure 4 - the relative position of the clarification and precipitation gutters.
10.The gravity sedimentation tank for suspensions contains a
Каждый желоб 2' осадительных рядов размещен таким образом, что участки его боковых стенок 11 шириной 25 - 50% от их общей ширины расположены между боковыми стенками соседних желобов 2" осветлительных рядов с образованием между ними одинаковых по размеру зазоров l1=l2.Each trench 2 'of the precipitation rows is placed in such a way that sections of its side walls 11 with a width of 25-50% of their total width are located between the side walls of
The sump works as follows.
5. Through the inlet pipe 4, the suspension, in particular the saturation juice 11, is fed into the
10. The lighter clarified juice freed from sediment particles rises along the inclined lower surface of the gutters to the ridge of the clarification gutter and moves along it to the outlet of the
The location of the side walls so that the sections of each of them overlap 25–50% of the sections of other parallel rows alternating with each other, provides the overflow of the thickened suspension along the upper surface to the top of the precipitation gutters and the clarified phase to the ridge of the clarification gutters without mixing these flows, This completely eliminates the non-working space in the sump.
The location of the clarifying 2 'and precipitation 2' 'gutters above each other in each row vertically at a strictly specified distance allows them to be combined into a single package that can be assembled outside the housing. If necessary, the bag in the sump can be replaced by another similar replacement one.
