Abstract
Description
The invention relates to agriculture, in particular to methods and devices for the reproduction of poultry.
There is a standard method of artificial egg incubation, which is implemented in industrial and domestic incubators and consists in maintaining strictly specified levels of temperature and humidity in the incubation zone [1]. It does not correspond to the regime of natural incubation, characterized by unsteadiness of thermal effects due to the fact that the brood bird flips eggs many times, rolls them from the center of the nest to the periphery and back, leaves the nest for food. Thus, eggs hatch undergoing unsteady disordered thermal influences. The non-stationary parameters of these disturbances, developed during the long evolution of birds, are obviously optimal for incubation, which is confirmed by the close to 100% hatchability of eggs and the high viability of young animals obtained as a result of natural incubation. With artificial incubation, these indicators of its effectiveness are significantly lower.
[2]. A known method of incubation of eggs of poultry (prototype), ensuring the creation in the incubation zone of the eggs of the required temperature and humidity conditions and keeping the eggs under these conditions throughout the incubation period with a periodic change in their spatial location [2].
The disadvantage of this method of artificial incubation compared to natural is the high stability of the temperature regime (the permissible temperature deviations from the set value do not exceed 0.2 o C), i.e. Such a prototype method does not reproduce the non-stationary thermal effects on the developing embryo inherent in the process of incubation of eggs by a brood hen.
The invention is aimed at eliminating the disadvantages of the prototype in order to increase the output and viability of young farm poultry.
This is achieved by the fact that the brood bird is used as an operator that corrects the temperature regime in the zone of artificial incubation, i.e. in this zone, the same temperature effects on eggs are reproduced (copied) to which they are exposed in the nest in the presence and in the absence of a brood bird (for example, when the brood leaves the nest for feeding).
The essence of the proposed method consists in the fact that in the incubation zone of the egg and in the nest of the brood hen they place control eggs, continuously and simultaneously measure the values of their internal egg temperatures, compare these values, and the temperature in the incubation zone is regulated until the values of the internal egg temperatures in both control eggs.
To implement the proposed method requires a special device. Known devices for the incubation of eggs of poultry, one of which (prototype) is described in [3]. This device includes systems for changing the spatial arrangement of eggs in the incubation zone and creating the required humidity and temperature conditions in this zone, the last of which includes a measuring unit, the output of which through the control unit is connected to the control inputs of the actuators of this system.
The disadvantage of the prototype device is the inability to provide them with temperature changes inside the eggs located in the incubation zone, according to the same law that is characteristic of the natural incubation regime, i.e. it cannot implement the proposed incubation method.
The proposed device eliminates the disadvantage of the prototype, differing in that the measuring unit of the system for creating the required temperature regime in the incubation zone includes a temperature difference meter, the output of which is the output of the measuring unit, and the inputs are connected to the outputs of two temperature sensors made to install their sensitive elements inside control eggs located in the nest of the brood hen and in the incubation zone.
The invention is illustrated by the drawing, which shows the control eggs located in the incubator and the nest of the hen, and the structural diagram of the device that implements the proposed method.
The drawing shows the control eggs 1 and 2, temperature sensors 3 and 4, the sensitive elements of which are made for installation inside the control eggs, measurement unit 5, including a temperature difference meter, control unit 6, actuators 7 (heater and cooler).
7. Control eggs 1 and 2 are respectively placed in the incubation cabinet among the other (uncontrolled) eggs in one of the trays and in the nest of the brood hen. Inside the control eggs are sensitive elements of temperature sensors 3 and 4, the outputs of which are connected to the input of the temperature difference meter, which is part of the measuring unit 5. The output of this unit is connected to the input of the control unit 6, and the output of the unit 6 is connected to the input of the actuators 7.
The device, implementing the proposed method, works as follows.
The temperature difference meter constantly monitors the temperature difference between eggs 1 and 2. If this difference is not equal to zero, then at the output of the measuring unit 5 there is a signal supplied through the control unit 6 to the input of the actuators 7, which compensates for the significant temperature difference, reducing it to zero. For example, if the measuring unit recorded an increase in the temperature of the control egg 2, then the heater receives a command to increase the temperature in the egg 1 to the same level. Thus, in the incubation zone, the temperature regime is continuously monitored, which takes place in the brood nest, which helps to increase hatchability of eggs and viability of young farm poultry.
