Abstract
Description
The invention relates to protective concrete, mainly from ionizing radiation, as well as to concrete preservatives used as curing mixtures when installing protective shelters, when concreting radiation-hazardous objects.
[1]. Known concrete mixture, including cement, water and aggregate from heavy materials - barite, magnetite, limonite, cast iron and others, intended for the manufacture of concrete for biological protection against radioactive radiation [1].
The closest in technical essence and the achieved result to the proposed one is a concrete mixture, including Portland cement, crushed granite 5-25 mm, sand M cr 1.9, superplasticizer, the addition of neutralized air-entraining resin and water.
1: 2,08 : 3,06 : 0,5. The composition of the concrete mixture by weight: cement: sand: crushed stone: water = 1: 2.08: 3.06: 0.5.
[2]. The amount of additives is respectively 0.2-1.0 and 0.005 - 0.1% by weight of cement [2].
The objective of the invention is to increase the radiation resistance of concrete, improve water resistance and gas tightness, create a composition with improved rheological parameters (fluidity and ductility to ensure filling volumes of complex configuration), sufficient durability, which can be used as a preservative during decommissioning, disposal and long-term storage of nuclear and hazardous facilities. The composition must provide active protection of metal structures against corrosion, it must be reliable even in aggressive environments, it is not toxic, fire and explosion proof, accessible by the material used, and possess the ability to mechanized installation. The mixture must be non-stratified, homogeneous, with high fluidity and be able to fill structural volumes of complex configuration. The composition should correspond to a specific thermal stress state of the concrete mass, which will be created as a result of monolithic.
B4C.To solve this problem, a concrete mixture of the following composition was proposed: Portland cement as a binder, shungizitic filler of two different fractions (dust and sand), the addition of C-3 superplasticizer (based on naphthalene formaldehyde constituents), air-entraining additive SDO (wood-saponified resin), water. To ensure nuclear safety from spontaneous chain reaction, boron carbide B 4 C was introduced into the composition.
The components are taken in the following ratio:
Portland cement - 37.04-39.14
Shungizitic dust (with a specific surface area of 2800 cm / g, particle size of 50-250 microns) - 12.28-13.21
Shungizit sand (particle size 0.14-2.5 mm) - 29.45-31.68
Additive of superplasticizer C-3 (based on naphthalene formaldehyde components) - 0.259-0.274
SDO air-entraining additive (wood-saponified resin) - 0.018-0.02
Boron Carbide B 4 C - 1.68-1.73
Water - 17.7-18.8
New in the composition is shungizit filler and boron carbide. The combination of the claimed features allows to obtain concrete with improved protective performance for gas and water tightness. The presence of shungizite in the composition of the concrete mixture, which has the properties of a strong reducing agent, in various fractions and in the declared amount can increase the effectiveness of the protective properties of concrete. Shungizit acts as an absorber of radionuclides. Shungizitovy porous additive, works as a sorbent. To regulate the intergranular porosity, two modifications of the schungizite filler (fraction) are taken. Thus, an optimal intergranular space is ensured when the gas migrates during the radiolysis of water, and its remaining part is delayed.
Increased filtration (in particular, H atoms through a system of submicropores, the size of which lies in the range from 10 to 15 ), which improves the waterproof performance, makes it possible to practically reduce the leaching of radionuclides to zero, which increases the protective and immobilization functions of protective barriers until the radiation disappears completely, since the concrete of the proposed composition not only has protective properties, but also retains radionuclides. Due to improved gas filtration, these do not accumulate, but are removed to the outside, the radiolysis properties of the composition are softened, and this process decreases exponentially, the material becomes non-explosive, its durability increases, since the destructive and bursting factors that can trigger an explosion disappear.
Boron carbide B 4 C is used as an active finely dispersed additive, since it is a neutron absorber, provides nuclear safety from spontaneous chain reaction. Needed in cases where there is nuclear fuel, it also provides absorption of thermal radiation.
During γ-irradiation, OH and atomic H groups are formed as a result of water decomposition, which contributes to the intensification of the cement hydration process, thereby increasing the strength of concrete.
The technology for preparing protective concrete includes the following operations: the starting materials are loaded into the concrete mixer in the following sequence: Portland cement and dust are mixed first, then shungizit sand is introduced. Separately, C-3 superplasticizer and an SDL air-entraining additive are introduced into the mixing water, and then water is introduced into the mixture of Portland cement with shuntisite filler and aggregate and everything is mixed. Boron carbide is introduced.
1. Specific examples of mixtures with a maximum, optimal and minimum content of components are presented in table. one.
When the ratios are less than the minimum, the necessary qualities of the concrete mixture and the reliability of concrete protection are not provided, concrete becomes unstable, a decrease in other concrete indicators is also observed. At values exceeding the maximum, stratification of concrete is observed; in addition, the use of components in such quantities is not economically feasible.
2. The experimental properties of the protected composition in comparison with the known composition are presented in table.2.
