Abstract
Description
The invention relates to construction, namely to a device for vertical waterproofing of foundations, walls, and can be used in the construction of new, as well as reconstruction or restoration of existing buildings and structures.
Known methods for plaster waterproofing basement walls, foundations and other building structures that involve the use of cement (cement-sand) mortars, with a ratio of Portland cement to sand 1: 3 (or 1: 2) and a water / cement ratio W / C = 0.4 [1 ] The main disadvantages of such waterproofing coatings are low crack resistance, water resistance and frost resistance.
1. Plaster waterproofing methods for surfaces are also known, which consist of preliminary modification of cement-sand mortars with improving additives of mineral or organic nature [2] As the latter, iron or calcium chlorides, calcium nitrate and nitrite, sodium aluminate, as well as resins, bitumen, latexes and other additives, which are usually administered in an amount of 1-2% by weight of cement. Some properties of such solutions are given in table 1.
However, plaster waterproofing coatings modified with improving known additives [2] do not provide sufficient crack resistance of surfaces of building structures (foundations, walls, etc.) during their operation under conditions of periodic exposure to negative temperature. At the same time, sufficient stability of the position of the foundations under the action of the tangential forces of frost heaving in buildings operated on seasonally frozen soils is not provided. The closest in technical essence and the achieved effect is the method shown in table 1 under
The basis of the invention is the creation of such a method of preparation and installation of a cement-sand plaster waterproofing coating, which would provide, all other things being equal, a sufficiently high crack resistance and resistance of the waterproofing to the effects of tangential forces of frost heaving during the operation of buildings and structures on a seasonally frozen ground.
The problem is solved in that in the known method of creating a waterproofing coating, which consists in applying a plaster layer of a cement-sand mortar containing additives, the hardened plaster layer is melted with low-temperature plasma, while orthophosphoric acid in the amount of 0.02- is added to the plaster solution as an additive 0.03% by weight of cement.
The invention differs from the prototype in that: as an additive, phosphoric acid is used in an amount of 0.02-0.03% by weight of cement; after the plaster layer has hardened, its surface is fused with a low-temperature plasma.
When phosphoric acid is introduced into the stucco mortar, not only calcium hydrosilicates, hydroaluminates and hydroaluminoferrites are formed due to hydration and hydrolysis of the clinker components of Portland cement, but also the formation of calcium hydrophosphates of various basicities. During the hardening process, the formation of double (mixed) salts of calcium silicate phosphates (aluminum, iron) also occurs. And with increasing temperature, the process of formation of calcium phosphates proceeds more intensively. When processing the surface of the plaster layer with low-temperature plasma, the melting process becomes thermodynamically the most advantageous, since the melting point of calcium silicate phosphates (1600-1700 o C) is lower than that of calcium silicates (1800-1900 o C). As a result of surface melting, a continuous glassy coating is obtained, which, from a chemical point of view, is the same calcium silicate phosphates (aluminum, iron), but of a different basicity. In this case, the adhesion of the coating to the substrate increases substantially.
At the same time, it is known [3] that in melts of polyphosphoric acids (or their salts) containing water, an increase in temperature leads to a complication of phosphorus-oxygen motifs, and phosphates with increasingly complex phosphorus-oxygen radicals crystallize sequentially. It is known that the stability and mechanical properties of phosphate glass increase with increasing connectivity of the anionic motif (P x O y ) -n . In silicate phosphates, the anionic motif connectivity is even higher, since the spatial framework of the future structure is strengthened (crosslinked) due to the appearance and interpenetration of silicon-oxygen, phosphorus-oxygen and mixed silicon-phosphorus-oxygen anionic motifs. The formation of such structures leads to a significant increase in the strength, water, frost, and crack resistance of the plaster waterproofing coating, as well as its resistance to the tangential forces of frost heaving. At the same time, the corrosion resistance of the coating increases, as well as its weather resistance.
The method is as follows.
The side surface of the basement wall (rubble, brick or concrete) is cleaned of soil, inflows of mortar, dirt, if necessary, washed with water and dried. The stucco mortar is prepared in the usual way: cement and building sand are mixed at a ratio of 1: 2, then the dry mixture is shut with water at the rate of W / C = 0.4. Orthophosphoric acid of 85% concentration in the amount of 0.02-0.03% of the mass of cement is introduced into the liquid cement-sand mixture. The mixture is thoroughly mixed. Phosphoric acid can also be introduced into mixing water. The resulting plaster mortar is applied with a layer thickness of 1.0-3 cm or more on the prepared surface. After hardening of the plaster layer, its surface is melted with a low-temperature plasma.
2. As a result of fusion, a smooth glassy coating is formed. The method was tested on the preparation of several cement-sand mixtures with different contents of phosphoric acid for plaster waterproofing the foundations. Technical characteristics of plaster coatings are given in table. 2.
As follows from table 2, the proposed method for the achieved positive effect exceeds the prototype and meets the criterion of high operational reliability.
