Abstract
Description
The invention relates to medicine, and more particularly to ophthalmology, and can be used for intraocular vision correction after extraction of the lens in patients with Fuchs myopic dystrophy.
Known artificial lens of the eye, containing the optical part and supporting elements. The optical part of this lens is a positive lens. Using this lens allows you to correct myopia. However, the use of this artificial eye lens cannot restore visual function in patients with Fuchs myopic dystrophy, since the optical axis of this lens coincides with the central optical axis of the eye and the rays refracted by its optical part are focused in the macular, affected area of the retina. Therefore, there is no restoration of visual function in these patients.
The objective of the invention is the creation of an artificial lens for implantation after cataract extraction in patients with Fuchs moipic dystrophy.
The technical result obtained by applying the proposed lens is the restoration of visual function in a patient with Fuchs moipic dystrophy.
The essence of the invention lies in the fact that in an artificial lens containing an optical part and support elements, the optical part is made up of two lenses: flat-convex and flat-concave, connected by flat surfaces, while their optical axis is parallel to the optical axis of the eye and the axis of the back the lens is shifted in the direction perpendicular to the optical axis of the eye, and the radii of curvature of the plano-convex and plano-concave lenses are of different sizes.
Using a flat-concave lens, myopia is corrected, and a combination of flat-convex and flat-concave lenses with the optical axes shifting vertically relative to each other allows you to shift the image from the affected macular region to the paramacular, preserved in this category of patients.
The radii of curvature of the lenses are different and depend on the anatomical and optical parameters of the eye.
In FIG. 1 shows a side view of the proposed artificial lens; in FIG. 2 course of rays.
The artificial lens of the eye contains the
The displacement between the optical axis 6 of the plano-convex lens and the optical axis 7 of the plane-concave lens 4 is 20 1200 microns. The radius of curvature R-1 of a plano-
The supporting
An artificial lens is implanted in the posterior chamber. A feature of the implantation of the proposed artificial lens is that its planar orientation is carried out depending on the anatomy of the pathological focus. If the focus on the retina is displaced towards the nose, then the artificial lens of the eye is set so that the direction of displacement of the flat-concave lens 4 relative to the flat-convex corresponds to the direction of the desired displacement of the optical axis of the eye.
0,1 0,2. Thus, implantation of this artificial lens allows you to restore the visual function of patients with cataracts on the background of Fuchs myopic dystrophy and increase visual acuity to 0.1 0.2.
Н/К.Example. Patient K., 50 years old, was admitted with a diagnosis of complicated cataract of the right eye, high myopia, Fuchs dystrophy. Visual acuity of 0.01, sphere 12.0 D 0.08. Extracapsular cataract extraction was performed with implantation of a spherical prismatic IOL. The postoperative period without complications.
