Abstract
Description
The invention relates to electrical measurements, namely, to the selective monitoring of insulation resistance, and can be used to control the insulation resistance of multi-feeder networks without power, multi-feeder AC networks under operating voltage, as well as to search for elements with reduced insulation resistance in networks as under working voltage and de-energized.
A known method based on measuring the angle between the current vectors and the voltage vector of the zero sequence [1]
The disadvantage of this method is that it is possible to determine only an asymmetric decrease in insulation resistance, in addition, the method is not applicable to networks without power. Another disadvantage is the dependence of sensitivity on the capacity of the electrical system.
There is also a method, which consists in applying a non-industrial frequency current to a controlled network, isolating current using a current sensor in a controlled network, summing the selected current with additional current and comparing the result with the resulting current when subtracting them [2]
The disadvantage of this method also lies in the significant dependence of sensitivity on the capacitance of the electrical system, in addition to the low noise immunity of the control, which is caused by the need to measure currents.
The objective of the invention is to expand the functionality, increase the selectivity of sensitivity, as well as noise immunity, selective control of insulation resistance.
The problem is solved by applying a direct current to the controlled system and when searching for an element with a low insulation resistance, not by measuring the current in the controlled circuit, but by determining its direction.
The essence of the method lies in the fact that a direct current is applied to the monitoring object from a direct current source connected by one pole to the monitored network, and by the other pole to the housing, and the current directions in the lines of the monitored network are determined using voltage (current) sensors, current directions are compared in the lines of individual network elements using a recording device and the result of the comparison, they judge a network element with a low insulation resistance. The same directions of currents in all lines of a single element indicate a low insulation resistance of this element.
The proposed method is illustrated in the drawing.
1.The DC source 1 causes currents I 2 I 5 in the lines. Using voltage sensors (current 2-6), the directions of the currents in lines 7-10 are determined, the signal from the sensors is fed to a recording device 11, which compares the directions of currents separately for lines 7, 8 and 9, 10. The same direction of currents I 2 , I 3 in lines 7, 8 indicates a low insulation resistance of element 1.
