Abstract
Description
The invention relates to measuring equipment, in particular to measurements during flight tests of flying objects.
Known methods for measuring back reflection using a laser source, consisting in lighting part of the test object, filtering the reflected light and directing it to the input of the photometer, the output electrical signal of which characterizes the amount of incoming light.
However, the known methods cannot be used to determine the effective scattering surface (EPR) of a flying object in flight, since it does not provide a measurement of the distance to the object during flight and does not take into account the influence of the atmosphere.
The closest technical solution to the proposed one is a method of measuring the EPR of a flying object in flight, which consists in irradiating the object, simultaneously measuring the power of the emitted, received signals and the distance to the object, determining the EPR based on the location range equation.
However, the known technical solution cannot be used to measure the EPR of a flying object in flight in the laser wavelength range, as it is intended to measure the EPR of an object in the radio wavelength range, and therefore involves irradiating the object with a radar station and does not take into account the influence of the atmosphere.
The purpose of the invention is the provision of ESR measurement of the entire surface of the object in the optical wavelength range.
S A•B2.This is achieved by the fact that in the known method of measuring the EPR of a flying object in flight, which consists in irradiating the object, simultaneously measuring the power of the emitted, received signals and the distance to the object, determining the EPR by the equation of the location range, irradiating the object, measuring the range, power of the received and emitted signals performed using a laser range finder, additionally measure the meteorological range of visibility and at the same time with the moment of irradiation, the elevation angle of the object, and measurements are performed for a series of successively increasing ranges, for each measurement determine the intermediate EPR (S, m 2 ) according to the equation of the range of location taking into account the influence of the atmosphere, then determine the parameters And depending on the intermediate EPR on the range (D, m) according to the model S (D) A • D 2 • (1 exp (-B 2 / D 2 )) and calculate the EPR of the object (S, m 2 ) according to the formula SA • B 2 .
S A•B2.The need to perform measurements for a number of successively increasing ranges is dictated by the requirement to determine the EPR of the entire object, and not a small part of it, irradiated by laser radiation. Since the divergence of laser radiation is units of angular minutes, significant distances are required for irradiating the entire object, such that the power of the received signal will be insufficient for registration. Therefore, measurements are made over a series of successively increasing ranges, for each measurement, the intermediate EPRs are determined by the equation of the location range taking into account the influence of the atmosphere, after which the parameters A and B are determined as a function of the intermediate EPRs from the range and the object’s EPRs are determined by the formula SA • B 2 .
2.The drawing shows a graph of the measured intermediate EPR of a flying object and the approximation of the measured intermediate EPR by the function S (D) A • D 2 • (1-exp (-B 2 / D 2 )) with parameters A 6.4 • 10 -6 ; B 6,201 • 10 3 m ESR of the object, the measurement results of which are shown in the figure, is SA • B 2 246.1 m 2 .
The proposed method for measuring the EPR of a flying object in flight is implemented as follows.

The elevation angle of the object was measured with a cinoteodolite. Before the start of the flight experiment, the meteorological visibility range (V, km) was measured, which amounted to 17 km. The laser rangefinder used had the following main technical characteristics: radiation wavelength λ = 1,064 = μm power of the emitted signal P rad 1 MW; radiation divergence angle θ = 1 mrad; aperture of the radiation receiver a 3.14 • 10 -2 m 2 ); transmittance of the receiver optics τ opt = 0.68. The object whose ESR was measured was dropped from the aircraft at successively increasing distances from the cinema theodolite with a laser range finder, starting from a range of D min ≈ 1 km after 300,700 m to D max ≈ 9.5 km, at which the received signal power is lower than the receiver internal noise power laser rangefinder, and therefore can not be registered. At each discharge, the object was irradiated with a laser range finder, and the distance to the object, its elevation angle, the power of the emitted and received signals were measured, and intermediate EPR were determined from the measured data using the equation of the location range taking into account the influence of the atmosphere

Coefficient τ atm is determined through the meteorological visibility range V, elevation angle E of the object and the distance D to the object according to the formula
