Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for producing difluoromethane (freon-32), which is an ozone-safe freon used as a refrigerant, propellant and raw material for the production of bromocoolones.
A known method of producing
g 0,05 где 85;52 молекулярные массы соответственно CH2Cl2 и HF;
17;12 масса CH2Cl2, кг;
11,43 масса SdCl3, кг;
15 время реакции, ч;
A method of producing HFC-32 of difluoromethane on the catalyst in the presence of antimony trichloride chloro [3] Thus, in 32.1-liter autoclave equipped with a fractionating column was charged with 11.43 kg of SbCl 3 and 0.8 kg of chlorine was cooled to 20 ° C. , then charged with 17.12 kg of CH 2 Cl 2 and 9.5 kg of HF, the mixture was heated for 15 hours at 85 C. The yield amounted to 83.1% of difluoromethane
The specific volume of the target product from the catalyst was (g):
g 0.05 where 85; 52 molecular weights, respectively, of CH 2 Cl 2 and HF;
17; 12 mass of CH 2 Cl 2 , kg;
11.43 mass of SdCl 3 , kg;
15 reaction time, h;
0.831 yield of the target product.
In fact, the specific volume of the target product will be significantly lower, which is associated with the time spent on unloading the target product and reloading the raw materials.
The disadvantage of this method is the low yield and low productivity of the process.
The technical problem solved by the invention is to increase the productivity of the process and increase the yield of the target product.
This problem is solved by the interaction of methylene chloride with hydrogen fluoride in the presence of a catalyst consisting of 96-79 wt. SbCl 5 and 4 21 wt. KF or KF ˙ HF, or NaF, NaF ˙ HF, or NH 4 F, or NH 4 F ˙ HF or CsFх хHF, or a mixture of the above salts with a catalyst concentration of 40-85 wt. (optimally 54-75 wt.) by weight of its mixture with CH 2 Cl 2 and at a process temperature of 70-150 about C.
The technical essence of the invention lies in the process of producing HFC-32 by fluorination of methylene chloride with hydrogen fluoride in the presence of a catalyst consisting of a mixture of SbCl 5 with alkali metal salts mentioned above.
J. Phys. Chem, 56, 1106(1952)).
As shown by analysis of the contents of the reactor, HF in the reaction mass is contained in an amount up to 20% (vol.). On the other hand, the balance between the supplied HF and the released HCL showed a gross formula for the SbF 3-3.4 Cl 1.6-2 catalyst. Analysis of the catalyst showed that a stationary catalyst (operating time of at least 20 days) contains about 30 wt. 3-valent antimony, i.e. the reaction SbF 3 Cl 2 - >> SbF 3 + Cl 2 takes place, and the supply of chlorine does not restore Sb to the 5-valence state. SbF 3 is slightly soluble in HF compound (see J. Phys. Chem, 56, 1106 (1952)). The indicated alkali metal salts have good solubility in HF (see the same), thereby increasing the ionic strength of the solution and at the same time the solubility and concentration of antimony fluorides and chlorofluorides in the reaction mass and thereby increasing the reaction rate. The gas composition at the outlet of the unit (excluding "acidic" impurities, namely HF and HCL) was (% molar): Freon-32 90.0-99.2; Freon-31 7.7-0.5; CH 2 Cl 2 2-0; other impurities 0.3-0.8. The degree of use of HF (defined as the molar ratio of GCL released during the synthesis to the total ratio of HF and HCl) was 92-99.8%
The gas content of the target product of HFC-32 and the degree of use of HF does not depend on the composition of the catalyst, but depended on the distillation conditions of unreacted products returned to the reactor, namely, the surface area of heat exchange in the reflux condenser, the temperature of the cooling brine, and its feed rate; in the case of the presence of an overreactor column with a reflux condenser from the column parameters of its height, diameter, nozzle or plates, as well as the total pressure in the system. The use of an overreactor column with a reflux condenser allows to increase the content of the target product of
The analysis of patent information did not reveal similar solutions to the problem, thus, this invention meets the criterion of "novelty."
The invention is described by examples 1-18, described in the table.
П р и м е р 1. Example 1. Describes the already studied reaction of the interaction of CH 2 Cl 2 with HF in the presence of SbCL 5 . This example was used as a "base", because the above patents do not show the performance of the catalyst and installation when conducting the process in continuous conditions. The synthesis of HFC-32 was carried out on a continuous workshop made of chromium-nickel steel. It consisted of 40 liters capacity reactor, heated with steam, equipped with a reflux heat exchange area of 0.25 m 2, cooled with brine at a temperature of from 20 to 40 C. The reactor was charged with catalyst, then CH 2 Cl 2. The total reaction volume did not exceed 20 liters. The reactor was heated to a predetermined temperature and HF feed was started. After the unit reached steady state, CH 2 Cl 2 was fed and continuous selection of reaction products was started. Gaseous reaction products were sent to a distillation reflux condenser. Condensable products flowed into the reactor. The synthesis gases were separated from the "acidic" impurities (HCL, HF) and collected.
