Description
The invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to coating by plasma spraying on iron-nickel-cobalt alloys with predetermined CTE, subjected to brazing with ceramics in the manufacture of components of space stationary plasma thrust engines, and can also be used in electrical engineering, power engineering and instrumentation.
A known method of spraying complex alloyed powders and intermetallic compounds nickel-aluminum, nickel-titanium parts to increase heat resistance and wear resistance [1]
The method is not universal, ineffective for parts with thin working edges, does not allow to obtain a solid uniform layer, laborious in execution, applicable to massive engine parts.
There is another way to improve the quality of thermal spraying of a ceramic coating Al 2 O 3 on a metal sublayer by laser fusion [2]
The disadvantages of the method in the complexity of implementation, increased fragility of the edges and poor optical thermoradiation coefficients of the surface layer.
Closest to the proposed is a method of applying a two-layer sprayed coating of 20-00 microns on a metal sublayer [3]
The disadvantages of the method in an unsatisfactory combination of expansion coefficients, insufficient heat resistance during heat exchanges in high vacuum, low electrical conductivity that prevents the cathode of the stationary plasma engine from starting, the coating has a short service life.
The goal is to increase the resistance in ion plasma with increasing heat resistance and obtaining the optimal ratio of optical thermoradiation characteristics.
In addition, it is planned to reduce the complexity, deformation and increase the manufacturability of the soldering and annealing process.
интерметаллид никельалюминиевого порошка ПН85Ю15 мелкодисперсного производства НПО "Тулачермет" является лучшим совместимым со сплавом 29НК компонентом для плазменного напыления. При вакуумной пайке с отжигом при выбранных температурах при минимальной пористости покрытия он создает прочно связанный с основой подслой;
окись алюминия Al2O3 имеет высокую стойкость в ионной плазме и повышенную укрывистость при напылении, что позволяет напылять слои в 1,5-1,7 раза толще подслоя, но при этом исключается шелушение и отрыв слоя по переходной зоне;
нитрид титана весьма стоек в ионной плазме, имеет температуру плавления выше 3100оС и при нанесении тончайшим слоем улучшает класс чистоты поверхности при лучшем соотношении степени черноты и коэффициента поглощения солнечной радиации при нанесении на подслой керамического порошка, кроме того он коррозионностоек во влажной атмосфере;
выбранная температура пайки и отжига обеспечивает высокую прочность спая ковара 29НК с керамическими изоляторами из ВК-94-1, обеспечивает вакуумную плотность спая и согласование КЛТР в паяном соединении, одновременно увеличивается прочность связи защитного слоя вследствие протекания диффузионных процессов по границе интерметалл основной металл и интерметаллид-напыленная керамика;
The essence of the processes for creating a multilayer wear-resistant sprayed coating on the ignition cathode electrodes is as follows:
finely dispersed production of PN85Y15 nickel-aluminum powder intermetallic compound NPO Tulachermet is the best component for plasma spraying compatible with 29NK alloy. In vacuum brazing with annealing at selected temperatures with a minimum porosity of the coating, it creates a sublayer firmly bound to the base;
aluminum oxide Al 2 O 3 has high resistance in ionic plasma and increased hiding power during sputtering, which allows the layers to be sprayed 1.5-1.7 times thicker than the sublayer, but peeling and tearing of the layer along the transition zone are eliminated;
titanium nitride is very resistant to the plasma ion, has a melting temperature above about 3100 C and applying a thin layer improves the surface cleanliness class with the best ratio of emissivity and absorption coefficient of the solar radiation when applied to a sublayer of the ceramic powder, in addition it korrozionnostoek in a humid atmosphere;
the selected soldering and annealing temperature ensures high strength of the 29KN Kovar junction with VK-94-1 ceramic insulators, provides vacuum junction density and KLTE matching in the soldered joint, and at the same time increases the bond strength of the protective layer due to diffusion processes along the intermetallic base metal and intermetallic sprayed ceramics;
the regulated heating and cooling rate allows to reduce thermal deformation while maintaining sufficient thermal and electrical conductivity of the barrier layers, which improves the conditions of ignition and exit of the electrode and cathode to the operating mode.
Spraying was performed on a UPU-30 unit. Ion plasma sputtering of titanium nitride and zirconium was carried out on a MIR-2 and UIPN-KGU installation.
The ignition electrodes M-70 for an electric thruster for equipping a space object were manufactured and processed according to the proposed method.
After machining the 29NK alloy, nickel-aluminum intermetallide was sprayed onto the working part with a layer of 100 μm, then a ceramic layer of 160 μm was sprayed with the same plasma-arc method, and
The brazing vacuum in the furnace was 10 -5 mmHg after solder spreading podstuzhivali your batch to 890 C. and held for 15 minutes.
The rate of heating under vacuum was 200 C / h, and were cooled at a rate of 400 C / h after holding at annealing.
As a result of processing, a wear-resistant layer with a working life of 5100-5200 h is obtained on the working surface, twice as high as when processing according to the prototype. Heat resistance during thermal cycling under a high vacuum at a temperature of the heating working edges above 600 ° C was 10 4 cycles. At the same time, the complexity of processing was reduced by a factor of 1.6, and deformation in diameter and height of the electrode was excluded.
The optical coefficients were blackness of 0.67-0.72 with an absorption coefficient of solar radiation of 0.58-0.59, which allowed to improve the thermal regime of the cathode. At the same time, the applied layer did not worsen the ignition conditions; the time to reach the operating mode remained at the level of standard electrodes of the M-70 installation.
