Abstract
Description
The invention relates to propulsion systems and can be used in heat engines and other combustion devices.
[1]. A known method of supplying an internal combustion engine with a mixture of fuel with non-combustible gas (for example, atmospheric air), in which the fuel is mixed with gas on a low pressure line, after which the mixture is compressed and fed through a high pressure pipe to the engine cylinders [1].
2 [2].A known method of pre-treatment of fuel by saturating liquid fuel with gas for 6-72 hours under an overpressure of 2-10 kgf / cm 2 [2].
A disadvantage of the known methods of fuel preparation is the small amount of air dissolved in the fuel, since saturation occurs at low pressure. With subsequent compression and supply of the mixture through a high pressure pipeline, the dissolution of air will be ineffective due to heating of the mixture during compression and the smallness of the adsorbing surface of the fuel.
[3]. The closest to the proposed technical essence and the achieved result is a method of preparing liquid fuel for a diesel engine, which consists in pumping fuel under pressure, mixing it with compressed air in a mixing chamber (absorber) to obtain air-saturated fuel and pumping saturated fuel under high pressure into the atomizer [3].
A disadvantage of the known solution is that the fuel is saturated with air on the low pressure line, so the amount of dissolved air in the fuel will not be enough to significantly affect the subsequent combustion process of the air-fuel mixture.
The aim of the invention is to increase the economic efficiency and environmental safety of heat engines by intensifying the combustion process.
This is achieved by the fact that the fuel and compressed air are mixed under a pressure of 2-200 MPa, the air is mixed with the exhaust gases of the engine before compression, the undissolved part of the air is taken from the absorbed and (or) inlet of the atomizer, and the pressure of the latter is reduced to close to atmospheric with a throttle and use it to cool saturated fuel or direct it sequentially to cool saturated and saturated fuel.
A device for implementing the proposed method for the preparation of fuel contains an absorber, atomizer, throttle, pipelines.
топливо и сжатый воздух смешивают под давлением 2-200 МПа в абсорбере;
воздух перед сжатием смешивают с отработавшими газами двигателя;
отбирают из абсорбера и (или) входа в распылитель нерастворенную часть воздуха, снижают давление последней при помощи дросселя до близкого к атмосферному и используют ее для охлаждения насыщаемого топлива;
The method of preparing liquid fuel for an internal combustion engine includes the following steps:
fuel and compressed air are mixed under a pressure of 2-200 MPa in an absorber;
air is mixed with engine exhaust before compression;
the undissolved part of the air is taken from the absorber and (or) the entrance to the atomizer, the pressure of the latter is reduced to a pressure close to atmospheric by means of a throttle, and it is used to cool saturated fuel;
the undissolved part of the air after pressure reduction is directed sequentially to cool the saturated and saturated fuel.
The proposed method is implemented as follows.
Separately, fuel and atmospheric air (or a mixture of air with engine exhaust gases) are supplied under high overpressure (2-200 MPa) and at ambient temperature to the absorber, where they are mixed and oxygen is saturated with fuel to a state close to equilibrium. Saturated fuel is supplied from the absorber through a pipeline to the atomizer. The undissolved part of the air from the absorber and (or) the entrance to the atomizer is passed through the throttle, as a result of which the pressure is reduced to close to atmospheric pressure, and it is used to cool the saturated fuel or direct it in series to cool the saturated and saturated fuel.
18%. In a fuel (such as kerosene), the amount of dissolved oxygen at saturation under an excess pressure of 100 MPa will be enough for almost a 100% oxidation state of fuel droplets, when one oxygen atom falls on each fuel molecule. It is known that with an increase in the relative oxidation state of fuel droplets by 10%, the ignition delay period in a diesel engine is reduced by 18%.
Утилизируя путем дросселирования энергию нерастворенной части воздуха в количестве, соответствующем насыщению топлива (типа керосин) при Рнас = 100 МПа, можно понизить температуру насыщаемого топлива на 25оС (без учета потерь).Under ordinary conditions, liquid-phase oxidation occurs during the heating of fuel droplets until they completely evaporate, and the oxidation process is limited mainly by the rate of oxygen to the droplet surface through the surrounding fuel vapor. In the fuel pre-saturated with oxygen, this restriction is removed. Thus, the proposed method for the preparation of liquid fuel provides a more efficient formation of liquid phase oxidation products - peroxides and aldehydes. The effective formation of these products leads to an intensification of chain branching, i.e., to the slowest stage of self-ignition, which in turn favors a decrease in the delay time and self-ignition temperature of a hydrocarbon-air mixture, an expansion of its concentration limits for self-ignition, and ultimately leads to an intensification of the process of turbulent combustion in general . The use of a mixture of atmospheric air with engine exhaust gases to saturate the fuel with oxygen contributes to its chemisorption and increase the solubility of air in the fuel (≈10%). Increased air solubility is favored by a decrease in fuel temperature. Disposing undissolved by throttling the energy of the air in an amount corresponding to the saturation of the fuel (such as kerosene) at P = 100 MPa, we can lower the temperature of the saturable fuel 25 ° C (excluding losses).
