Abstract
Description
The invention relates to deep drilling, in particular to the repair and restoration of threaded pipes of oil assortment.
A known method of repair of tubing with tubing with a damaged thread, which includes a segment of worn threaded ends, cutting a new thread and screwing on new couplings [1]. The disadvantages of this method include the need to use a large number of metal-cutting equipment and measuring tools, as well as the irrational use of metal due to the decommissioning of a large number of used but suitable for further use connecting elements.
The closest in technical essence and the achieved result to the proposed is a method of restoring tubing with worn threaded joints by turning the sleeve, in which the sleeve with the worn thread is unscrewed, then the worn part is screwed onto the pipe end, the thread of which is also worked out, and the sleeve is attached to the body pipes [2]. However, the restoration of the tubing by the specified method presents extreme difficulties, since the coupling to the pipe body is provided for by welding, while high-carbon steels (for example, St. 45, 36G2S, etc.), of which threaded oil-grade tubes, in particular tubing, are made, relates to a steel with limited or poor weldability and in accordance with industry standard CMP 92-1177-77 when welding require special heat treatment and heating to a temperature of 150-300 C. in addition, to obtain a reliable For pipe joints made of steels with a high carbon content, a special complicated welding technology is required, providing for lining the edges of pipes and couplings by deposition of an electrode wire of the SVO8G2S grade, 1.2-1.6 mm in diameter or UONI 13/45 carbon with local preliminary heated to 200-250 C. Report welding technology leads to weld cracking, and hence, the recovered pipe unusable for further use. In addition, this method does not imply an improvement in the quality of reconditioned pipes, but only aims to obtain the previous quality level. When unscrewing the couplings, a large percentage of damage to the threads is observed.
The purpose of the invention is to improve the manufacturability of the restoration and wear resistance of the thread.
This is achieved by the fact that in the method of recovering tubing with worn threaded connections, including unscrewing the sleeve, screwing the worn part onto the worn threaded end of the pipe, connecting the integral connection of the sleeve to the pipe body, before unscrewing the sleeve, the pipe end together with the sleeve is heated to the hardening temperature, maintained at this temperature, the relaxation and quenching conditions, and the permanent connection of the coupling with the pipe body are formed by applying to the worn threaded end of the pipe and the thread of the coupling ed their screwing epoxy adhesive layer and maintained connection after screwing up the adhesive curing.
Distinctive features of the proposed method, forming a new population, lead to an unexpected result: if new and repaired tubing can withstand up to 5 screwing-unscrewing, then restored according to the invention withstand up to 20 screwing-unscrewing. This result cannot be explained only by the expected contribution of hardening of threads, since the use of hardening to increase wear resistance is known (L. Lachinyan, Work of a drill string. - M .: Nedra, 1979), but the operational effect of this operation is much lower than ours. According to this method, the free thread is subjected to surface hardening by induction heating. In this case, the thread profile is inevitably distorted. According to the proposed method, the relaxation and hardening of the thread is carried out in a screwed-up state, when the turns of the nipple coupling form natural lodges with respect to each other, which eliminates warping of the thread, improves its profile (due to relaxation), and ultimately contributes to an increase in the wear resistance of the thread . Based on the foregoing, we can conclude that the proposed technical solution meets the criterion of significant differences.
In comparison with the known, the proposed method can improve manufacturability, use simpler equipment, simplify manufacturing processes. Joint heating under stress relaxation and hardening reduces the energy intensity of the process, and stress relaxation itself in the threaded coupling-pipe connection makes it easier to unscrew the coupling with small torques up to manual unscrewing. Using the bonding process to create an integral connection between the pipe and the coupling also reduces energy consumption and eliminates the effect of high temperatures on the hardened coupling: in the known method, welding is used to create an integral connection. In addition, the known method guarantees only the restoration of the properties of the tubing, i.e. in the known method, the restored tubing, like the new ones, can withstand no more than 5 screwing-unscrewing. According to the proposed method, the restored tubing can withstand up to 20 screwing-unscrewing. Therefore, the proposed method provides a positive effect.
П р и м е р. PRI me R. For processing by the proposed method, used tubing 73 x 5.5 strength groups D according to GOST 633-70 with couplings made of 40XH steel are taken. Produce heating of the pipe end together with the coupling to a temperature of 830 o C. Maintain at this temperature during relaxation and quenching mode for 20 min. Quenching of the heated elements is carried out in oil, the measured hardness after this is 42 HRC. Then the clutch is unscrewed with a hand wrench. Epoxy glue is applied to the worn part of the sleeve and the worn threaded end of the pipe, the pipe and the sleeve are screwed in to the worn parts and the adhesive is set to solidify. Bench tests show that the restored tubing can withstand up to 20 screwing-unscrewing.
