Abstract

A method for predicting the outcome of sepsis, including determining the absolute number of eosinophils (CE), characterized in that CE is also determined in dynamics on the 3-5th day of stay in the intensive care unit and, if in dynamics, on the 3-5th day CE increases two or more times compared with 1-2 days, then a favorable outcome is predicted with an already established diagnosis of sepsis, if it does not change significantly, then a lethal outcome in patients with sepsis is predicted, and it is concluded that the risk of death at p cients sepsis TBE at less than 120 cells / mm is increased by 62.5%, compared to septic patients who have a QE 120 cells / ml.
