Abstract
Description
The invention relates to antenna technology, and in particular to designs of slewing devices (OPU) of antennas, in particular to OPU with a polar suspension, where the axis of rotation of the antenna mirror is parallel to the axis of rotation of the Earth and is directed to the polar star.
A device for orienting a satellite is known. The disadvantage of this device is the design complexity.
The known supporting structure of a satellite dish. This device contains a polar axis mounted rotatably in a swivel bracket. The antenna mirror is mounted on the polar axis by means of rods of variable length.
The disadvantage of the design is that there is no correction of the elevation angle depending on changes in the azimuthal angle.
The essence of the invention lies in such a fixing of the mirror, where when it rotates around the polar axis, it additionally rises or falls by an amount corresponding to the angular error of tracking the satellite’s orbit (see Fig. 2). Moreover, the rotation of the mirror occurs according to the same law, according to which the error in tracking the orbit increases. The mirror is fixed as follows: in the lower part, the mirror is attached to the carriage (the movable part of the control panel) pivotally. In the upper part, the mirror is attached by means of traction to the fixed part of the base of the OPU, and the axis of the hinge connecting the rod with the base of the OPU is shifted closer to the mirror relative to the polar axis. In this case, the radius of rotation of the thrust will be less than the radius of rotation of the mirror. Due to this, when the mirror is rotated relative to the polar axis, the rod will additionally rotate the mirror in one direction or another. Moreover, the amount of rotation depends on the amount of displacement of the axis of the thrust and shoulder h (see Fig. 6) relative to the hinge of the mirror. If the thrust is installed in the lower part of the control panel, then the displacement of the hinge axis should be in the opposite direction (further from the mirror).
In FIG. 1 shows a view from space of the globe and the geostationary satellite orbit; in FIG. 2 is a section AA of FIG. 1 (β is the angular tracking error); in FIG. 3 - OPU; in FIG. 4 - node I in FIG. 3; in FIG. 5 is a view along the arrow of FIG. 3, which schematically shows the magnitude of the displacement of the mirror hinge when it is rotated through an angle α; in FIG. 6 is a section BB in FIG. 5, where the rotation angle β 1 of the mirror around the hinges is schematically shown.
. . 8о.The projection of the tracking radius of the antenna R is less than the radius of the satellite’s orbit, due to which the satellite’s orbit does not coincide with the projection of the conventional antenna tracking orbit. The tracking error increases with a larger rotation of the antenna from the "south" position. For example, for medium Russian areas by rotating the antenna of the position "south" 60 of the tracking error (angle β) is about ≈0,3. As can be seen from the diagram in FIG. 2 mirror should be installed as follows: direct the antenna to the south; first, direct the optical axis of the mirror parallel to the equatorial plane of the Earth (Ψ = 0), and then turn the optical axis of the mirror to the satellite orbit. For the middle regions of Russia Ψ ≈ 6.. . 8 about .
14.If these operations are performed with greater accuracy, then the tracking error will be ≈ 0.3 about , which will significantly affect the image quality. In order to eliminate this error, when turning the mirror from the “South” position, increase the angle Ψ according to the law that determines the error β (see Fig. 2)
The proposed design of the OPU (see Fig. 3) contains a
New in the proposed device is the fastening of the rod 8 (see Fig. 3) to the fixed part of the base 3 of the control panel and the displacement of the axis of the hinge of the rod by a.
10. Dimension a is set once when preparing the antenna for use. Its value depends on the geographical latitude of the installation site of the antenna and the size h of the control panel (see Fig. 6), i.e., the arm of rotation of the mirror relative to the
The work of the OPU is as follows.
When the
2). On the other hand, when the
Thus, when the mirror rotates about the polar axis within the visible part of the orbit, its optical axis will accurately track the satellite’s orbit without errors.
The design of the
Below is the algorithm for determining the value of a depending on the geographical latitude of the location of the antenna and arm h (see Fig. 6). The program is compiled for the MK-61 programmable microcalculator.
The first part of the program until
The operator F≥0 compares the magnitude of the tracking error with the magnitude of the angular displacement of the mirror. As soon as they are equal, the program stops and the value a is displayed on the board.
The value of a was calculated for various angles α of rotation of the antenna relative to the South position (zero position), (see Figs. 5 and 6). At all angles α, the quantity a is the same. This confirms the correctness of the calculations. The values of a are in the range ≈1.8. . . 3 mm, the initial formulas and the program are given below.

As the program runs, the value of a will increase until the angles β and β 1 are equal, after which the program will stop.
If necessary, the error β can be recalled from memory. (P_ → X1) in minutes.
