Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of heat engineering, in particular to regenerative heat exchangers.
A known method of manufacturing a heat exchanger with longitudinally oriented channels, selected as a prototype and consisting in the fact that a bundle of pipes with removable filler is placed in the apparatus body, they are pressed together with the pipes until their surfaces are completely adhering to each other, after which the filler is removed.
When implementing this method, when filling the body with a tube bundle between the pipes, caps and the body, gaps are formed, which must be eliminated in the process of crimping due to pipe deformation. Due to the fact that the gaps inside the tube bundle are smaller than the gaps between the tubes and the caps of the peripheral row of the bundle and the housing, to eliminate the latter one has to apply a much greater compression force than is necessary to eliminate the gaps inside the bundle. Moreover, often, especially when using materials such as titanium, there is a violation of the integrity of the pipes, which leads to a decrease in the reliability of the apparatus during operation. In addition, this method is not free from such a technological disadvantage as the need to double deform the end parts of the apparatus.
The aim of the invention is to reduce its energy intensity and increase reliability.
This goal is achieved in that at least one part of the pipes is performed with a length shorter than the length of the body, and the fillers of these pipes are in the form of rods with a length exceeding the length of these pipes. In this case, protruding ends are formed relative to the ends of the pipes, on which caps are put on having a length shorter than at the ends of the rods.
This goal is also achieved by the fact that before crimping the housing in the gaps between its inner surface, the beam tubes and the caps place rod-shaped inserts of plastic material. The insert can be made composite of elements of various materials, it can have a non-circular profile. The inserts can also be placed in the gaps between the pipes and the beam caps.
Arrangement of short pipes in the bundle avoids the need for repeated deformation of the ends of the casing, and placement of rod-shaped inserts in the gaps between the tubes, caps and the body of the rod-shaped inserts reduces gaps and, therefore, reduces the necessary compression force to eliminate them, and this reduces the energy consumption of the method and to increase reliability, because thanks to the lower compression efforts, the integrity of even pipes made of such an unplastic material as titanium is guaranteed.
In FIG. 1 shows a longitudinal section of a heat exchanger; in FIG. 2 - section AA in FIG. 1; in FIG. 3 is a longitudinal section of the apparatus in the case of inserting a composite of elements of different material.
6. The apparatus consists of a
An example of the method.
A bundle of 61 copper pipes with a diameter of 6 mm with a polyethylene rod-shaped filler is introduced into a brass tube with a diameter of 47 mm and a length of 500 mm, with 36 tubes having a length of 500 mm and 25 tubes having a length of 340 mm. The ends of the filler protruding 40 mm from short pipes are put on copper caps 30 mm long. In the gaps formed between the pipes, caps and the body, insert a brass wire with a diameter of 2 mm. Compress a brass pipe on a broaching mill until it reaches a diameter of 32 mm. In this case, the surfaces of pipes, inserts, caps and body come into contact with each other. On the side surface of the housing, holes for nozzles are made. The apparatus is placed in an oven with a temperature of the order of 150-160 o C and the filler is melted. The pipes are welded, caps with nozzles for the second medium are put on the ends.
