1. Способ упрочнения поверхности стальных изделий, включающий нагрев электрической дугой переменного тока, зажигаемой между неплавящимся электродом и поверхностью изделия при относительном перемещении дуги по поверхности изделия, отличающийся тем, что дуга образуется с помощью переменного тока с прямоугольной формой импульсов, а тепловложение дуги регулируется дополнительно параметрами переменного тока.2. Способ упрочнения поверхности стальных изделий по п.1, отличающийся тем, что одним из параметров регулировки является независимое изменение силы тока в положительной и отрицательной полуволне.3. Способ упрочнения поверхности стальных изделий по п.1, отличающийся тем, что другим параметром регулировки является частота колебаний полуволн.4. Способ упрочнения поверхности стальных изделий по п.1, отличающийся тем, что еще одним параметром регулировки является изменение продолжительности положительной и отрицательной полуволн.1.
