Способ очистки маломутных цветных воды, включающий введение в воду коагулянта, например серно-кислого алюминия, и реагента, хлопьеобразование с последующим осветлением воды путем осаждения хлопьев при непрерывном отводе из процесса осевших хлопьев, выделение из них реагента и возврат его в воду перед хлопьеобразованием, отличающийся тем, что в качестве реагента используют активный подщелачивающий нерастворимый в воде реагент, преимущественно активированный алюмосиликатный сорбент, при этом размер частиц сорбента выбирают в пределах 0,02-0,1 мм.2. Способ по п.1, отличающийся тем, что выделение сорбента из отводимых осевших хлопьев осуществляют сепарированием.3.
